    Classic Burrito
    Mychael W.

Very solid spot over in Santa Monica. I was waiting for my son to get out of class and decided to give them a try. It's a beautiful restaurant right on the main strip with open windows for a cool setting. I sat right by the window to people watch as I ate. I got a Karaage chicken burrito and a 7 layer dip. They were out of rice for the burrito but it was still delicious! The 7 layer dip was very tasty as well. As a few others have pointed out, the portions are pretty small and the pricing can be steep. I went during happy hour so everything was $10 each. This helped make it worth it. I wouldn't pay $18 for the small burrito, but would definitely pay the $10 again. Overall this is a great spot to try if you're in the area and want some tasty, upscale Mexican food.

The taco deal on Tuesday is where it's at. I will say I don't remember all the tacos we got but we each got a spicy one that kicked our butt. Everything was super tasty though and came out so quickly. Come here for an elevated taco experience! Staff was nice as well and the vibes were good. One of the few in the restaurant so I don't think you'll need a rezzy!

Wasn't able to take photos of the food but it was absolutely delicious, we got the nachos with carne asada & a burrito. The drinks were made perfect as well, definitely recommend. The staff was super helpful on deciding on what to order & made sure we were having a good time.

Such a great hidden gem in Santa Monica. We came by on a Sunday around 5pm--friendly service and a relaxed vibe right off the bat. The cocktails (Skinny Z's and Gracias Jesus, both extra spicy) were refreshing and flavorful. The lime bitters in the Skinny Z really gave it a nice pop. Food-wise, the 7 Layer Dip was surprisingly light and super tasty--not your usual heavy version. The grilled fish tacos were tender and melt-in-your-mouth good. The duck tacos were a standout--rich, flavorful, and with an unexpected but delicious Asian twist. The house made flour tortillas were phenomenal and make sure to ask for both in-house hot sauces - spicy and worth dipping everything in. Definitely worth a visit!

The cons, the price is pretty high! The good, the food, service and ambiance is amazing and worth it! Ask for the secret off menu jalapeño margarita the appetizer avocado fries with the ceviche was so good together its needs to be on the menu as a combo or something! The shrimp tacos, idk how but these are the best I've had! I forgot to take a picture of the food it was so good!

At first, I was really nervous about the management change in the menu changes but it turns out the vibes are great.. and I love the tacos and the watermelon margaritas my absolute favorite. I have heard the management could care more about the staff . I have worked in restaurants my whole life before I started doing hair and I understand the importance of good healthy leadership. The staff slaps regardless they're so awesome :)

I come here as much as I can! It's not terribly hard to get a reservation and the service is always super kind and speedy. As a nacho fanatic, that's the best thing to order here - the portions are insanely generous and reasonably priced. For vegetarians, the classic and elote nachos are excellent. If you're feeling more protein, the chicken tinga and chile verde nachos are also tasty and come loaded with meat. The margaritas, especially the chimayo drip hibiscus margarita, are delicious as well.

Was intrigued by the name of this place and their specializing in nachos and tequila. The ambiance was incredibly comforting and the decor was light and inviting. We stopped by on a Wednesday evening, well after happy hour, unfortunately. But we decided to try it out anyway, our waitress was super nice and attentive. Within a few minutes we had placed our order and our drinks were delivered quickly. The drinks were delicious but I would not say they were anything incredibly unique. The nachos were big enough for two to share and we also ordered a quesadilla to share. The nachos were far superior to the quesadilla and is the way to go when sharing items. I will say the flour tortilla from the quesadilla tasted like it was hand made, so that definitely earned it some extra points. I'd recommend coming for happy hour or during their taco Tuesday deals, food and service was good regardless.

New Management is a disaster, do not eat here. Upon sitting down, the waitress informed that the restaurant is under new management, which explains why the menu is different and now has a new Asian-Mexican style. The fun variety of delicious nachos is gone, and the replacement is a small bowl of cheese whiz over chips. Just not the quality we were used to. The caesar salad was fine, but the tacos is were where it really got bad. While I have never seen tacos so small and they give you 1 tortilla instead of the typical 2, the fish was insanely low quality, like frozen tilapia or something, and the duck tacos were inedible. I never send food back and I had to step up and say something because it was so unacceptable, and $20! The waitress was incredibly kind and very helpful and I feel very sorry that I was such an unhappy customer; it was not her fault. This restaurant will be out of business very soon.

Came here Saturday, you can find street parking or some of the parking lots where it's pretty inexpensive for 3 hrs, no more than $4 and plenty of parking. Didn't have a reservation and got quoted a 20 min wait but it was only 10 which was great Walking in hearing Baby bash, Justin Timberlake, big pun and all 2000s music definitely sets a vibe before sitting down The bartenders were really friend and Jay was great and so was the drink named after him. Our nachos came with a tiny bit of carne asade. We brought it up to the waitress and she was more than happy to bring a plate full of freshly made carne asade for them The shrimp tacos and whatever sauce was in them was delicious and two was actually enough. Crispy freshly made. Happy to stumble upon this place walking Main Street

Vamos Vamos brings decent casual Mexican fare to Main Street when you can you a Casa Migos frozen margarita machine, easy to share nachos, and a variety of tacos. The margaritas were pretty solid, both the John Locos, which went down smooth and easy with a good balance of sweet, and I'm Secretly Dating Carlos which is more spirit forward. The Chile Verde nachos were good - fair portion of well flavored and tender pork along with cheese and beans - could've used a little more acidity. The tuna tostada was a good flavor bomb - they give a lot of the aioli so it'll get messy but it's still a great bite. Fish tacos were a tad bland - wish they were more generous with the green aioli they used. Flan was great though. Service was nice. Though they didn't have a menu item so I ordered something else but I didn't realize until I was home that they never took off that menu item from my bill since they bring you the toast machine with the total. Some indoor and outdoor seating with a chill vibe. The fish

    Reality carne asada

So this place is a nice cocktail bar with absolutely terrible unacceptable Mexican food. We had come here for drinks before and they were excellent and finally decided to try the food. The Nachos barely had cheese on them, a sprinkling of sliced tomatoes and maybe a tbsp of guac. Moving onto the carne burrito and the carne asada plate... the carne asada plate was laughable. Steak was completely over cooked, there was hardly any meat, and on the plate itself was unseasoned rice, refried beans, two strings of green onions and a pinch of cotija cheese (pictures attached of instagram vs the sad sad reality). I actually asked the waitress if there was a veggie or cheese they could add on but didn't even end up finishing it because it was so overcooked. My boyfriend offered me some of his burrito and it was 3/4 filled with potato mush and wasn't much better. They ended up taking the carne asada off the bill and it was still somehow $90 with tip. Will never go back and you shouldn't either

It was initially confusing when we arrived, because there was no host on shift, and we had to ask the barista inside where we should be going. After taking a peek in the actual downstairs basement tavern, we opted to sit outside under the eclectic mix of chandeliers, heat lamps, and lightbulbs, instead of the empty smoky basement. There was a live pianist playing in the front lawn, which was amazing and pretty much made the night. I don't know if it's a regular thing, but if it is, I'd definitely come back just for that. Probably since it was a weekday night, the place was pretty deserted, but we didn't mind - it was like a private show with plenty of seating options. The happy hour food was awesome. We got a bunch of appetizers to share, and there was plenty of food. Our favorite was probably the grilled octopus and calamari, and the brussel sprouts were amazing. The fish tacos and ceviche were not bad, but tasted basically the same. Our server was really sweet. In the future, I would come in a group of three since it seems like all the appetizers come in multiples of three and it would have been more easily shared between us.

In terms of the drinks, I'm a huge fan of cocktail but I would say their menu selections are a bit limited. Nothing in the signature cocktail looks interesting to me, so I had the bartender make a classic cocktail instead. He's very attentive and friendly, didn't take forever to get a drink either, no attitude. Drinks aren't watered down either. Nice! You come here to grab quick drinks when you don't feel like being at a loud dive bar in the area, it's in a hotel but not too upscale, no strict dress code. Music is not loud and they have couches and booth if bar table if not your thing, you don't have to yell or pretend you hear everything to hold a conversation here (lol). ** Keep in mind 20% gratuity is automatically included in bill, it's my first time here. Wouldn't be self-motivated to come back because there are better places that specialises mixology, and there are also better upscale hotel bars to be at. Turns out it's a relaxing non-alcoholic drink with a very unusual effect -- I felt a slight numbness on my tongue The bar itself was clean, atmospheric, and super cozy, the drink was actually really tasty, and the service was absolutely amazing. Everyone was very friendly and welcoming. If you want to try something different and unique, this place is definitely worth visiting!

It had a cool vibe and tons of allocated bottles on the bar (tequila and whiskey and whisky to name a few categories). The staff greeted us quickly and supplied us with some menus. I opted for the Idyllwild cocktail and loved it! It had the most complementary flavors and was so refreshing with the bourbon, yuzu, chartreuse, honey, and lemon flavors. My husband opted for a neat Caballito Cerrero Puntas pour (high proof agave spirit). They only had 0.5 Oz for their bottle and only charged for the partial pour. People came in and ordered anything from cocktails to neat pours to flights. It was a cool spot and the bartenders seemed pretty well versed in different cocktails, giving a few suggestions to different patrons. I'd definitely be down to try more drinks here if we roll through again. Luckily, we found some close street parking and it wasn't super busy so we easily found parking in the area. It also wasn't super packed in the venue so we could've opted for other seating--lounge areas, a few tables, or just at the bar.
