Requested "lifetime" warranty work from paint job done in early 2000's which is now peeling off in sheets. Van claims there is no documentation that my vehicle has ever been there despite it being there twice. Warranty work disapproved as they have not kept previous files. Insurance documents support my claim but still no go on Vans end. Original paint on rest of vehicle still intact - just Vans repair peeling. So buyer beware! I told him that I LOVE my little car and want it fixed to look its best. Due to the year of my Fiat, getting the parts was challenging as they are no longer made anymore. I went on-line and found the armrest for the front seat that needed to be replaced. They installed the parts and fixed many dings that I had not even seen. Someone struck my vehicle causing significant damage, including the fender being pushed into my front tire. I had a two hour drive home and couldn't safely drive the car in that condition. Dee took considerable time with me then drove the car to the back of the shop, where she and another employee were able to check the vehicle and pull the bumper out so I could get home to Prescott. I've now had several repairs done at Van--all handled by Gary Sullivan. These ranged from a full-on accident to weird, inexplicable dent to a smashed-off side mirror on Hondas and Mazdas. He provided exemplary service: communicated in a timely manner, charged us an excellent price, and delivered exactly on schedule. (Alayna was also quite helpful when he was unavailable.) I do not recommend Van collision, they are not trustworthy. Tom took an extremely long time to evaluate my son's car that ultimately was totaled in an accident that was not my son's fault. We specifically called the shop no less than three times to request that certain items be removed from the car before it was towed away and were promised that Van collision would set aside those items. I showed up to pick up the personal belongings and after waiting 1/2 hour, Tom told me they failed to remove the items and they were towed away with the car. He was not apologetic at all and did nothing to compensate for their mistake. read more

I have a warranty issue with my new Sierra EV. I initially got the run around from the service department, they dropped the ball coordinating with the collision shop. I went to the collision shop directly, they looked at the issues with the truck and took pictures, telling me they will get approval to fix the issues. 45 days later, no word from the collision center. I went back, they could not find my work order at first, finally found it and told me they we waiting on an approval from the service department and that it would be quicker if I went over and talked to them. I drive over to the service department, talk to the manager (who says the collision center never contacted him) and aske him to call the collision center. Drove back to the collision center, estimator says he got approval and someone would call to schedule me in. I receive the call, schedule it in on a Monday with expectations to receive it by the end of the week. Call Thursday afternoon for an update and find out no one has touched my truck. They are waiting for warranty approval. Seems to me they should have already gotten the approval, why else schedule me in. I took my truck back, not repaired and highly disappointed. Came in for a side-swipe dent repair on my car. Slight delay due to Christmas and New Years, and then hit with unexpected deductible but that is just my insurance, not their fault of course. Vehicle had low fuel but thankfully Tom assisted me in finding nearest gas station and showing me car features to fill the tank with included nozzle. AVOID! DO NOT GO HERE! Pierre fixed the cosmetic issues and didn't fix the majority of my concerns, major safety concerns with lots of noises coming from the steering wheel and windshield. The repairs took exactly 30 days with most of the communication being initiated by myself. When I came to pick up the car Pierre told me everything was fixed, handed me the keys, pointed to my car in the unlit parking lot and said bye. As soon as I got to the light my steering wheel made the exact same noises and then the windshield too. I emailed Pierre immediately as they had just closed and did not hear back until I received a phone call following up from someone else. Pierre then responded and told me to go to the dodge dealership and at this point I feel wiped his hands clean. I've currently waited two weeks for a call back from the manager there who also shares the same zest for customer satisfaction. I am launching a complaint with the better business bureau and filing a complaint with my insurance company to remove them from their preferred list of shops. Airpark even suggested not using Van collision as most of their shared customers left with a bad taste. read more

Brandon at Vans was incredible to work with and kept me informed. I was really worried about the paint matching due to the little bits of metallic in the paint and the gray color. Turned out LIKE NEW. As a result, I came back to Vans to have parking lot damage the front quarter panel and door repaired on my truck. (No note left). Quoted 3-5 days and my car was there 2 weeks for a minor repair . I was also not notified that it was ready and my car sat there for 4 additional days until I finally called. No apologies , treated with a condescending attitude. Not treated like a paying costumer for sure . We have been going here for years but this will be the last visit for sure. I asked for some compensation for all the inconveniences and was given a little visa gift card. Almost an insult !! Do your homework and find a business that actually works for their costumers and isn't so rude , Arrogant and unprofessional. We are actually very put out to be without our vehicles for such a long time and then a slap in the face to not even inform the costumers that it is ready. 2 weeks to replace the front bumper that only had a minor scrape and a dent underneath. Do NOT go here. They don't actually guarantee their work! I Read reviews and had my car taken here after a collision. They estimated 4-5 days for repairs. 3.5 weeks went by before we had our car again. The next day the check engine light came on. They basically told us they would have to charge us to work on the car at all and that it was unrelated. We went somewhere else and had it fixed (no idea if it was related because the dealership didn't know what all they worked on aside from the air conditioning unit). Fast forward another month and the car sputters every time the AC is on! I have contacted them and I will update if they take responsibility and make this right! We had no issues at all prior to the accident it's clearly all related and yet their "lifetime of the vehicle guarantee" has been a lie thus far. read more

From the start I should have listened to my instincts and went the other way. Brought my vehicle in the early morning was told 3 hour timeframe; at 3:30 in the afternoon I called to get the status on my vehicle and was told "we have the wrong part"! I had to call them to find out the status, no one thought of contacting the customer!!!! I believe Van Collision Center is dishonest and not trustworthy. It was a small repair, one necessary because of my own carelessness. It would be a small, out-of-pocket expense. Certainly no reason to expect people to go that extra mile. But, the folks at Van really put in the effort. Fast, neat, and reasonably priced repair. While I hope to never return to this business, I certainly will if I need another auto body repair. I was directed to Van as a result of the dealer scratching my new Dodge Ram 1500, so that being said, I did not pay for any services I received here. The drop off and rental car pickup process was very smooth and fast. Jim explained to me the process and was very kind. I was told it would take 2 days, at the most. Two days pass and I haven't heard anything. I give them a call and was told it would be at least another day with no explanation as to why. Weird... So day 3 is here and almost gone, I decide to call and find out the status. I get told it will be ready today. Awesome! Why couldn't someone have told me that earlier so I can make easier arrangements? Go down to pick it up and the truck is sitting outside and ready to go. However, the truck is not washed. What!? What body shop doesn't wash the vehicle after having work done on it? Unprofessional. Also, after receiving the key from the front desk, I was told that Jim, the advisor, could be available "if I would like to talk to him." Instead of walking me around my truck, he is standing outside talking to someone else, clearly not handling any business. He sees me walking around the truck and still refuses to come say anything. I take pictures and drive off without him saying a word or even acknowledging me. Wow.... All in all - the actual paint job was great and looks brand new. Easily the worst shop I've ever dealt with. Unfriendly customer service staff, didn't see a smile the entire time I was there, and was treated poorly. After spending thousands of dollars I should at least be greeted with a polite experience. Next time I'll be sure to pay the tow truck extra to tow it to a different location and I would suggest everyone do the same. No one seems to be in compliance with the same set of information and give contradicting information and create the smallest task into a huge ordeal. Had my car taken here after being hit in a parking garage. The reviews looked good and I figured it would be in good hands considering the dealership that I bought my car from referred them. The paint and repair came out fine. The front left wheel had to be replaced. They replaced it, but the wheel was the exact right wheel for my car. It was the same style, but the finish of it was from a previous year model of my car that was slightly different. The new wheel was a lot brighter of a silver than the other three wheels on my car now. Stood out like a sore thumb. I didn't notice right away because I was more looking at the paint and body lines to make sure it looked good. I did however notice that night as soon as I got home from work. I know the body shop would have noticed this right away, and it became obvious that week that they did and had no plan to right the situation. I tried calling to talk to the guy that was in charge of the repairs on my car and never got a call back. They were also supposed to get me the front emblem that had been "backordered" for over 3 weeks and never heard from them about that. I managed to get the emblem from aNissan dealership in 3 days. I looked through the invoice and noticed that they just use all refurbished parts and buy the cheapest parts they can to fix your vehicle. There are some really good body shops out there, I just really recommend choosing any of them besides this place. Left a really bad taste in my mouth. You're car is supposed to be fixed to pre accident condition and that's definitely not the case here. Update: I was contacted by Brian who is a director there and he went out of his way to make things right as best he could. Because of what he did, I would consider taking my car back there. Lying, cheating, disgraceful, scam artists. After a car accident, our insurance rented a car through Enterprise. We were rear-ended in the rental car. Enterprise/insurance had us bring the car to Van Collision Center. A bit later, we received a bill from Van, which our insurance informed us was wrongfully sent to many other places as well. We were warned that this collision center is notoriously gross and that if anything further comes of it, to contact them. Tonight, we received a bill that differed from the original estimate 2 MONTHS LATER for the same car. I understand estimates are just that an estimate...but months later when this is supposed to be dealt with through our insurance. If our insurance didn't pay out, fine, I can call and double check. That being said, these disgraceful employees also sent us a large bill for a random car that WE NEVER TOUCHED. Our license isn't on it, our name isn't, they are very well aware that we randomly didn't have a car of theirs that was in an accident that WE OBVIOUSLY WERE NOT INVOLVED IN. This should be especially aware considering we were given a DIFFERENT RENTAL CAR. I've contacted this company and will be in communication with my insurance company as well. If an immediate resolution is not met, a formal apology, documentation of their mistake, as well as an explanation, I will continue with this process regarding fraud and possible harassment. Not new to the car business or collision. I will make sure no one we know ever considers Van for a vehicle purchase, maintenance, collision, etc. read more

Just picked up my Jeep from Vans. The work was done in a timely manner, car was returned in beautiful condition, including a detail. George, the service manager was very courteous and professional. The front desk staff were polite and kept me notified each day of the progress via text. The only reason I gave them a 4 star was that I was not responsible for the billing or insurance and have no information about their handling of those details. I was mortified after my car was in their shop and I read the previous reviews, made me quite nervous. However, I found no justification for complaint with the business. And Jim greeted us as friendly and as personal as anyone we have met. He observed the issue and offered advice of what he would do. His suggestion was spot on. Each time the car was ready as promised or earlier. My most recent repair was minor; but the same attention to detail was afforded. I had a dent in the rear bumper with a little spot of paint damage. Had estimates from two nearby body repair shops. One was $900 and the other $600. In both cases, the estimate includes the complete removal of the bumper and repainting since it was (according to them) "impossible" to get to the dent. I took it to Van's and Logan (their estimator) and along with a body repairman heated the dent and pushed it out in less than 10 minutes. They touched up the paint chips and charged me nothing.
