Joe Soukenik and his team spent a great deal of time designing and ultimately building the most perfect wedding ring for Veronica. We are now married. The Ring: The ring is rose gold with a modified, diamond lined infinity band. The 1.0 karat round diamond sits elevated on top. Folks, this is the most attractive ring anyone of our peers have ever seen. it is NOT a 20,000$ ring, yet Veronica's ring gets compliments more than those who have far more expensive rings. Why? it is because Rivchun and Sons know what they are doing. It is the woman whose finger the ring is on... It is the custom work... and lets face it, the high grade diamonds make a huge difference. First experience... I came out from Los Angeles, as my brother and relatives in the past have used Rivchun. The Rivchuns are now the Soukeniks, and Joe Soukenik is the master jeweler and owner. Been there for most of his life, smiling with thanksgiving. His staff is friendly, all of them are into what they do. Without exaggeration, Joe Soukenik has probably brought hundreds of individuals in to his windowed office and has spent the great expense of time with them explaining Diamonds (gradations, shapes, ratings, and all the rest). He took Veronica and I into his office and spent an hour and a half with us. He is so excited about his work, and you can tell that it isn't a rouse. He would've spent 5 hours with us if we had that many questions. We left with greater understanding. Joe is a disarming, attentive person. He also has that great Cleveland work ethic that few folks know about. We live in LA, grew up in Cleveland. i'll tell you, I don't know one Clevelander that doesn't consider a work week to be less than 50+ hours. The best, and they pride themselves on their work, which is why Clevelanders set a high bar for the businesses they patronize. In LA, we give thanks if an employee says hello. Joe, thank you for your endless patience. At no point did your tail feathers get ruffled, as I know I delayed and kept changing ideas. Anyways, we are so happy to be established with you all. Joe has recently been blessed (and he knows it) to have his son Jack join the team. Jack is a younger version of Joe and emits the same high vibes. Rare. While it may exist, I know of no other jeweler that will treat each customer with the same respect and same price point. I am not the most trusting when it comes to jewelers. I checked out everything claimed here, and voiced skepticism. Rivchun holds up and they are smart because they do what they love and beleive in great service. The Parking is simple, for being in a historic downtown Cleveland building. you simply park on the 3rd or 4th floor in the parking garage next door, and there is a skywalk to the City Club building. Fun. Bonus: For our wedding, they loaned Veronica these jaw dropping barcelona diamond earrings (potato chip shaped). It is these things that make a big difference. After our first visit, we accidentally left some coins behind, and they actually called us while we were driving home to let us know. That alone says a lot about the kind of people you're dealing with. On our most recent visit, Maroon spent a great deal of time with us and even stayed several hours after the shop had closed. He made sure everything was looked at carefully and that we understood what we had and the value of it. It was in mint condition with vertical ridges & beautiful glistening laser cut edges. when I picked up my rings, I immediately noticed the charm of my ring was completely polished away. 1/3 of the thickness of my beautiful wedding band was polished away & none of the original character remained. I paid $479.00 to have them destroy the integrity of my sentimental wedding rings. I literally went home & cried. How can you polish away all a rings detail in one visit. I'm heartbroken.
