I scheduled an appointment and arrived at the scheduled time only to find out that there was no appointment scheduled for me. I reminded the receptionist about the specific conversation we had, and she said she remembered it, but somehow the appointment was not recorded. She then said that there was a cancelation at the same time I arrived and the doctor could see me right now. She gave me a packet of paperwork to fill out. 10 minutes later when I returned the paperwork, she said that actually the doctor will NOT see me as she needs to go home since her child was diagnosed with strep infection and she didn't want to expose her own patients. I was so frustrated at this point that I decided not to come back for another appointment. A few minutes later as I drove away from the parking lot, the receptionist contacted me to let me know that the doctor's husband was now able to babysit the child and now she CAN see me. I was completely shocked by continued back and forth lack of communication. I said I would not be returning. You think that's it? NO! The doctor then called me to let me know that in fact based on my paperwork I should not be seeing her at all and go to the ENT!!! I have ringing in my ears, if an audiologist is not the right place, then I am a total idiot. Needless to say, this is the last time I am going to this place.

The office has been consistently great about getting us in same-day when the need arises, and that sense of security when it comes to your kids is priceless. The care my kids have received has also been consistently great. Another important plus: when our kids were switched over to Medicaid bc of the marketplace, they continued to see us, and not all offices do that. My oldest; my daughter, saw Dr. Mallard for her first two years. He truly was great. As she grew older, I wanted to change to a female Doctor, and we couldn't be happier with Dr. Shekarabi! My daughter adores her, and she's so patient, thorough, and really takes her time with the kids. Her nurse is also warm and welcoming. When my son was born in 2021, he had a couple of complications that were quite scary for us during his first two months. Dr. Shekarabi did an incredible job of finding the problem, saw him multiple times per week to keep a close eye on him, got us into a specialist. I am so thankful we had her in our corner during that crucial time. Our son is now 15 months old, and doing great! The office is a twenty-five minute drive from us here in Brentwood, but my husband and I value this place enough to deem it worth the drive. I highly recommend this office for your kiddos!

They absolutely did. Every professional there told me they would tell me as soon as possible, only for them to forget. It was an incredibly dehumanizing experience and I received no empathy or apologies, only excuses. Stay away if you want to be treated like a human. They also recently changed their phone systems to make it impossible to speak to a human. If you call you will ONLY get a three minute phone tree and be asked to leave a message. You will NOT talk to a person. I am incredibly disappointed with the offices obvious distain for the people it's supposed to be helping.

Turns out Dr. Yontz is on the the board of HEAR Nashville, so the process went very smoothly. Dr. Yontz took her time explaining the results of the hearing test and what to expect in the new hearing aids. Once they arrived, she patiently detailed how the aids operated, how to maintain them, and what to expect in the future. Not once did we feel rushed in or out of the office, and my friend is greatly enjoying being able to hear again! And I don't want to leave out Brenda, the patient care coordinator. She is friendly and efficient. With some comprehensive and simple tests Evelyn was able to chart my hearing loss accurately. With up to date modern computer technology she set up a test set of hearing aids and BOOM! I was able to hear those sounds I was missing for years. From the emotional side I can't say enough about how actually HEARING again has helped in the last two weeks. As I am getting used to hearing again I go back occasionally and she is able to tweak up each tone so that the units are more acute,more normal and more comfortable. I saw Tamera Pace for a general "check up" - she was so friendly and sweet and put me at ease. Blood work, EKG, etc. was all easy and timely.
