NEW CAR BUYER BEWARE - my Honda burns a QUART of oil every 1,000 miles and has been progressively getting worse. Honda says this oil consumption is NORMAL. So between oil changes, I have to add 5 additional quarts of oil to my car. Again Honda says this is normal. I noticed an issue and started reporting it to Honda in the first two years of ownership. Unfortunately, it took a class action lawsuit for Honda to be forced to take care of their customers. My Honda Accord has been involved with TWO class action lawsuits. One for brake pads going out for Honda owners within 5-40k miles into owning their vehicles, and another for this oil consumption issue. When I had to replace my brake pads at 35k miles, I soon after found out about the class action lawsuit allowing owners to be reimbursed for their early brake pad replacement. Unfortunately, Honda did not inform me I could submit for reimbursement (found out via Google), and you had to submit your invoice within 90 days of your brake pads being replaced, so I wasn't able to get reimbursed as I missed the 90 day window. When Vandergriff Honda did the oil consumption test, they only used the dipstick to measure my oil consumption. They reported that my car burned 1 quart in the first 1600 miles, and also to report that my car burned 1 quart on the second oil consumption test after 1000 miles. Only 1 quart after 1600 miles and 1 quart after 1000? Seems like they're not measuring correctly. I tried to get the Service Manager to explain to me how they can accurately measure how much oil my car has burned when they're not measuring the oil that comes out of my vehicle, or adding oil before measuring using the dipstick. He insisted that it was a "technical thing", but ultimately explained that if oil doesn't display on the dipstick, they're report consumption at "1 qt", which explains why this dealership measured 1 qt at 1600 miles and at 1000 miles. My car is a 2008, but owners with 2013 vehicles are finding out now that they have the same problem. These problems come after years of ownership. My fiancé and I bought a vehicle from this dealership about a month ago. It is hands down THE WORST car buying experience we have ever had. We mistakenly drove into this lot thinking it was Vandergriff Hyundai (which is next door) where we had an appointment to look at a truck. Vandergriff Honda had the exact same truck in the lot and it turned out to be in better condition of the two. So we came back to give it a closer look. Our salesman "Moe" was the rudest salesman I have ever encountered. He repeatedly tried to push us numbers outside of our budget and kept asking the same questions over and over. Trying to bully us into signing things we were uncomfortable with. My fiancé was so frustrated at one point he got up and left and the salesman pushed the paperwork over to me like I would sign something behind his back. It took over 4 hours of arguing and finally just dealing with the sales manager to come to terms we were happy with. After 5 hours at the dealership we finally leave in our new vehicle. Only to come home and type in the VIN number to find out it was advertised for 1,000 lower than our final sales price. Keep in mind they were trying to get us to pay over 3,000 more than the advertised sales price at the beginning of the negotiation. We were also led to believe they were having a "Columbus Day Sale" which was explained to us that they were discounting their vehicles and giving more for trade ins. This was Fraud By Inducement. Now we try really hard to be informed car buyers and do our due diligence when researching cars. But we just stumbled upon this car by accident and it turned out to be everything we wanted. But that is beside the point. They should have been honest enough to give us the advertised price on the truck. This dealership is dishonest, pushy, rude and in my opinion committing fraud. I would not recommend anyone try and buy from here unless you enjoy being treated poorly. I will say, at the end of it we did get a decent deal on our vehicle. But only because we stuck to our guns and argued till we were blue in the face. One of my top issues I needed addressed was an airbag light for newly installed airbag sensors. Only Honda has the software to scan for the new sensors and and clear the warnings on the dash. I was charged labor and all they did for this problem was tell me what I already know, that the computer was complaining about the sensors... Benny Ray assured me he would contact a Sr Tech so we could follow up on the problem and has completely ignored my emails and even a text for over a week now. read more

Upon my arrival to the dealership early Saturday afternoon, I was fully prepared to purchase a vehicle having both my down payment on my person and financing approval from my lending institution. After learning that 2 of the 3 Honda Accord Sport vehicles that met my wishes and needs of a car(low mileage) had been sold since my initial visit on Thursday evening, Marian, used car sales consultant went above and beyond to try to still locate a vehicle that would accommodate my needs as far as what I was looking for in a car. Once it was determined that the remaining Accord Sport vehicles on the lot had higher mileages, Mrs. Spencer solicited assistance from GM Mr. Yuni Chon.At that time, we discovered that the 3rd vehicle that was a great option had not yet arrived to the dealership although the car was showing in the inventory listing.  Mrs. Spencer initially told me about the car on Thursday evening which was a 2020 listed for $27,500 to $28,000 with approximately 3,000 miles.  During the process of Mr. Chon trying to assist Mrs. Spencer in finding a car for me, I unfortunately was the recipient of Mr. Chon's presumptuous behavior and cavalier attitude.First, Mr. Chon gave me unsolicited advice on what he would do as far as choosing a 48 month payment option versus a 60 month payment option. In addition, Mr. Chon proceeded to calculate what my monthly payments would be although I informed him that I had already done those calculations especially since I was financing at 0% interest. He also made the assumption that I would not put any money down and implied that his calculations would put me over my stated desirable monthly payment.  I was perplexed as to why he would make the assumption that I would not put any money down especially without asking me first.In addition, Mr. Chon told me 3 different stories as related to the price of the 3rd car of interest that had not arrived. Mr. Chon initially told me he couldn't tell me the price of the car until it arrived on the lot although Mrs. Spencer gave me a quote the Thursday prior then he informed me that the price of the car would be $4,500(approximately $32,000) more than the original quoted price and lastly he told me the car would be $29,000 once I requested that he tell me the cost of the sale from that morning of a similar car( which was one of the 2 cars i was interested in). According to Mr Chon the price of the car in question would be the same price around $29,000.Lastly, once he appeared to become frustrated over "his inability to put me in a car or sell me a car" , he asked me to go pick out a car that " I would like that would meet my needs". Upon finding a 2020 accord LX with low miles, I requested to see if the accord sport wheels and rims could be placed on the car. Instead of giving me the option to decide if the deal for that car would fit in my price point range, he took away my last option for the day of getting a car by stating that " he was not going to sell me a car that I don't really want because I would eventually return the car and that he stood behind his belief and statement.Finally, the ultimate display of his inappropriate statements occurred when after ending a phone call with a male family member who I had called for consultation, Mr. Chon had the audacity to ask me if my family member was going to help me with financing the car as to imply that I was allowing my family members to influence my decision on purchasing a car.  Not only was that inappropriate to say to a customer, I truly believe Mr. Chon would not have asked my male family member the same question if the roles were reversed. read more

We had a great experience with Vandergriff Honda in 2017 so we went back in 2019 to buy another vehicle. Less than a week later, we realized that the car reaked of smoke (we are not smokers). It was clear that they covered the car in perfume and cleaner to mask the smell in order to entice buyers into buying the car and shortly after we purchased the car, their dirty little secret came forward. After trying to fix the issue ourselves with home remedies, we called Vandergriff Honda to see if they would detail the car or try to remove the smell for us. They passed us around for a few days before sending us to the General Manager. The GM refused to offer a detail and instead tried to UPSELL us a new cabin filter for the car. The GM repeatedly said how he was sorry while listing various reasons why he wasn't sorry. The customer service here is awful and there is no reason why they cannot offer a detail for a car that clearly belonged to a smoker. What would we stand to gain from a business who already employs their service detail workers? Only go here if you want your hair and clothes to smell like smoke and want to be talked down to by rude General Managers who clearly don't care about you for a single second after you purchase a car. read more

Hands down, the worst car buying experience I've ever had. Here's what happened... First off, I'm a disabled military vet, and currently a defense contractor. I make more than enough money to purchase the vehicle. I parked up front in the handicapped spot and before I could even get out of the truck I had a young Thirsty sales person clawing to get me out of my truck. It's rude and annoying. I explain to this kid that I was there to buy a 2019 Civic Type R. I knew they had four in stock but there was only one in the showroom. Oddly he dragged me back to some dirty cubicle that didn't even have chairs before I had a chance to even look at the car that I was there to buy. First thing he did was slam a finance application down on the desk. I looked him told him I didn't need financing and that it was rude to imply. How is that acceptable to have someone start filling out paperwork before they even see the car they want? Again, rude and pushy. I finally convinced him to let me see the championship white Civic that was parked in the shop. Filthy, scratched, and completely unsatisfactory condition for a new car especially one that they claim is so exclusive. It was parked next to a tire mounting machine so it had black shit splattered all over it. Cool I guess... so exclusive. So here's where it gets real bad. After about an hour of me asking what sort of deal I could get in the car the sales manager comes out and start trying to get in my face. He continued to tell me that there was a $12,000 dealer Mark up on the car. The website said the opposite and even had some good rebates listed. I politely said no thanks I'm not interested in lining their pockets and started to leave. He begin yelling at my wife and I as we headed out. I said I'd go talk to a few other Honda dealerships and he continued yelling at us as we walked out. Literally yelling. "You won't get a better deal anywhere" " no one will sell for less". My wife was completely freaked out and embarrassed. She's from Japan and cannot believe that people here are so rude. I explained to her that he's really unhappy and probably has a small ding dong. Nothing impresses me more about a business than the ability to put aside the "business" mentality and step up in a time of emergency. My daughter's car broke down and was towed to Vandergriff Honda, unannounced. By the time the tow truck got the car on the lot, Christie, the service representative was at the car with my daughter. Communication could not have been better and, although the repairs needed were significant (alternator, battery and fuel pump), Christie did everything in her ability to work with my daughter on timing and cost considerations. Vandergriff Honda will, without question, be our go-to place for services! Thank you, thank you, thank you!! In a time of high stress and confusion, you guys showed the way with compassion and understanding. I specifically asked not to do business with a certain bank, when I first signed my financing terms it was "set" with one bank, several days letter I got a decline letter from the bank I signed with! My 17 year old daughter went there to get her car serviced by herself, got a advisor named Kyle. He is supposedly the top advisor. He then tells my daughter they can't take the tires off the car to inspect brakes ( a safety concern ) without charging for it. Little did he know my daughter calls me and I work in the industry. Long story short and I call the service director and tear into him. He tries to cover up for him of course. I hope CHARLIE EVANS (the GM) reads or hears about this, because he will set them straight. I told my daughter to get her car and leave immediately, of course they are rushing to check the brakes, set psi on tires and whatever else and took 1 hour just to do that, this is with little to no cars on the drive. I will never allow my daughter to go back to this, and I'm spreading the word of this incident using every resource possible. This was by far the worst buying experience I've ever been through! I knew what I wanted just needed help I can't sell myself a car. I go in ask the receptionist for help she told me someone would meet me outside. So I went outside walked around the HR-Vs waiting 5/6 dealers walk around me, by me but never even get so Much as a are you fine so you need help anything! She showed me the car I asked about the features I asked does the car come with leather she said no I later found out that was a lie. I look at the contract and couldn't sign I told the finance person what happened and why I was uncomfortable doing business with them and he said he would take off 500 and throw in free stuff BUY NOTHING WAS GONNA BE FREE BECAUSE I WAS ALREADY PAYING FOR EVERY SINGLE THING. I was paying for the packages they weren't doing anything for me! But selling me a car. ALSO THE AGREED TO INTEREST RATE WASSNT THE FINAL INTEREST RATE! So I got up and said I needed to get myself together and if I come back I come back. I ended up going back and trading my car in I just wanted the experience to be over I hated every bit of this shady ass place and didn't want to go to another dealership this was the 3rd one I had been to and the rest sadly didn't have any with the features I wanted! But better people! I got the car but I'm unhappy I got it from them and some of the "packages" they act like you can't decline them after I left learned I can. No big deal they just lost a customer. I wouldn't recommend this place I wouldn't go back! Y'all could have stayed honest and actually rectified the situation but made it worst and worst! Then GM is a joke and frankly pretty rude, bully like. Hint #3 that I should've known there was something wrong with my van. After signing my papers I didn't get it for almost 2 weeks. I thought this was a legitimate business. My mistake for still buying it! After driving it off the lot (which I had to turn the van around cause the seat belt wasn't installed right) I noticed something felt off. But I I just thought it was my imagination. As soon as I got home I told my fiancé to drive it. Nope wasn't my imagination. Something is wrong with the van. I called my sales person to let her know I was tired of everything I had been through with them and I just wanted my car back. They couldn't do that cause it had already went into auction. So she said I can either bring my van back and trade it in or get it into the service department. I told her I didn't want another van cause their other vans were out of my price range. After thinking it over for the night I emailed her asking if I can just take it back to the service department. It has been a week and still no response. I honestly believe the van was in an accident and they didn't tell me because it wasn't on the car fax. Had a salesperson looking out for a used Honda we are in the market for. Got a call to come in to see a car they had just got in on a trade (appreciated the salesman's efforts). After I arrived, he drove the car out front. Informed him I didn't like the car. He proceeds to go let his sales manager know. She comes out to ask if I liked the car he brought out front for me to see. Informed them both again, no. She seemed appalled that I didn't like it. She then proceeds tell me what would fit in my budget and wanted me to see two cars, one that would be in my budget & one just above my budget. I agreed to see. They bring a car out back that was totally not what I told them we were looking for in the beginning ( a coupe). I have purchased more than 25 vehicles in my lifetime to know how to calculate what is within my budget and what price range the vehicles I am purchasing should average in price. Doing homework long before we start the buying process is simple, especially when our finance company has an app. that shows what my payments should be based upon the down payment & interest rate for a particular vehicle. 1st - they insulted my intelligence as though I am a first time buyer, and do not listen to the customer since it all about selling a car. 2nd - they try to force on you the car they feel is for you, not what you are looking to purchase. As I was pulling away, another manager comes out and asks what was the issue. Told them, don't waste my time, I gave the salesperson specifically of what we were looking for for our child's car. If you get that vehicle then, call me otherwise don't! Doubt even if they do find the car, I will go back. I purchased a Honda Odyssey from this dealership only to discover it was involved in a front-end collision. They acted like they didn't know yet they themselves performed accident-related repairs on the vehicle without reporting it to Carfax. I know this because the invoice, from Vandergriff Honda, was in the glove compartment, and it specifically stated that the customer told them the car was in a front end collision and the repairs were directly related to that. On top of that, they pre-certified bald tires. I had to purchase all new tires for the car within the first year of owning it. Luckily I haven't had any major issues, but those are deceptive enough sales practices that I won't be returning when the times comes to purchase another new vehicle. And WOW, 90+ filtered reviews? I've never seen anything like it. 2 out of the 5 unfiltered reviews don't even have anything to do with the dealership itself. Seriously, Kenneth H gives the place 5 stars because he hangs out with his buddy there (?!?!?) and Jamie H got some screws for his license plate. OMFG. I'm LMFAO. I've had two bad experiences with Vandergriff and now I'm done: (1) When I arrived to buy a new car with my teenage daughter, NOT ONE SINGLE SALES PERSON approached us. TWO FEMALES. Mom is ready to pay cash if they have what we're looking for. After a long stretch of watching salespeople walk right past us without a word, I called out, "Anyone want to sell a car today?!" No response the first time. Second time, a salesman says he'll get to us soon, on his way to talk to a couple as they walked in the door. First words spoken to us, fifteen minutes after arrival. We waited another fifteen minutes--thirty minutes total, left, and bought one from a different dealer. This was worse than when a salesmen sees a female shopping for a car alone and opens with "What color do you want?" which most of them do. Sigh. When shopping with a male, I don't get asked this question until later. (2) Our Honda had a recall on the sun visors, because they keep falling apart on several model years for a few of the models. We had been using this dealer for servicing because they're a lot closer to where we live than any others. Vandergriff did not have them in stock THREE TIMES when we tried to get them replaced. After both had broken to the point that they hung down in the driver's and passenger's faces, I got more insistent that it be ordered and that we be contacted upon their arrival. They told me that because this car was two months past the warranty date, they had to charge for them.....even though this was a recall item. After being reminded that I had tried to get this done on three other occasions (acknowledged to be in their records), this was a Vandergriff problem, not Honda's. A service representative named Ray put me on terminal hold several times, including once ON HOLD FOR FIFTY MINUTES!!! Never came back on any of those times to offer to call back (which he NEVER did, thus my continued calls to them when I didn't hear back--one time Ray LIED and said he had left a message.....hello, cell phones show a complete call record). I literally drove from Fort Worth to Arlington, did a little grocery shopping, arrived home, carried in the groceries, and used my computer a little while before anyone picked up that line. Finally, while I held that phone to one ear, I called again with a different phone and held their ancient sounding overly loud recorded music stereophonically in both ears (same instrumental song on a continuous loop--I could hum it perfectly for you now, a week later). When someone finally came back on the line with the SECOND PHONE after it had been directed to the service department, I explained that I was on hold with another phone for going on 50 minutes. He was very nice and made an effort to get the manager as I had requested. Lo and behold, somebody finally picked up that first call.....and put me on hold another fifteen minutes=1 call on hold most of 64 minutes. I gave up on that first call, but took a screen shot of the call record. I did hear back from the manager, and he agreed to provide replacement sun visors. But that took a second phone call, when he didn't call me back as promised for a whole week. Acted like it was a big huge favor. He brushed off the long hold time, Ray's lies, and terrible customer service (there was more than I've covered here). So, I'm glad to have gotten the defective sun visors replaced (although with the same defective version that breaks), but it should not have taken ten days worth of phone calls and pushing the point that Vandergriff had fallen short during past efforts to take care of this recall of a defective item, in order to get it done. Then, after arriving home, we realized that they installed these sun visors BACKWARDS. The right hand visor on the left side, and vice versa.The mirror is on the side that folds toward the windshield. This had to be on purpose. Certainly technicians who handle recalled sun visors on several years of multiple models of Hondas know which direction the visors should go. The service technician was smirking when he handed me my key, and now I know why. Ridiculous! Their service was fairly good other times when we had routine things done, and they're waiting area is excellent. But after two kinds of rudeness and dodgy tactics, I don't trust them and I'm done with them. I'll drive further to a different dealer. Check my other reviews. Mostly very positive. I went here to buy my first new car. I wanted, and ended up purchasing, a new 2012 Civic EX coupe in black. I test drove one of the Civics and I loved it. They really let you gun it on the test run. There's a parking lot around back where they let you whip it around a bit and really test it out. I was feeling confident about this. Then started the ever dreading trade in appraisal and dealing with all of the nitty gritty financing. Apparently, or they acted like, there was only one black Civic EX in the whole place (which they had lost the keys to) that had all of the pricey add ons preinstalled. They told me it would cost money to even take these add ons off the car and I might as well just pay for them. I'm sure they probably all do this but we argued it and I ended up getting them free. Yippee! This all up to this point had taken a couple of hours. They sat us in a room for about another hour where they encouraged us to give them a 5 star review on a tablet provided by them. It then was time to sign the papers. Everything looked great, I signed the papers and low and behold, they still can't find the keys to the lone black Civic. I got a loaner car to take home until the next day where I had to drive back to the dealership in Arlington (I live in southwest Fort Worth) and pick up my car. I get there to get my car and they tell me they have great news for me! Yay! The great news is is that my brand new car that has 10 miles on it really has 1,700 miles on it! And I have to sign all of the paperwork over again because the original paperwork I did before is null and void. They lowered my monthly payment and my interest rate slightly to make it up to me. I was extremely fed up at this point and my car I traded in was never seen again after I parked it out front so I agreed and signed the papers again. Finally, I get to pick up my car! Except, they bring me my car and in the front middle of the hood (extremely noticeable) is a dent/scrape atrocity! The door handles were all scratched and the inside was dirty! There was hair on the console and soda residue in the cup holder. This was supposed to be my brand new car! I immediately complained and the salesman told me "the tires are black, I figured it was clean." Yet again I get a loaner car for three days now while they repair the dent and detail my car. They deliver my car to my work and from the window in my office I can see the dent in my hood. The car was clean but they just painted over the scrape/dent and it looked like crap. It was terrible. The salesman tried to argue with me that it wasn't that bad. I said I was paying for a perfect new car and if he couldn't deliver then I wanted everything back. He took my car back to the dealership. I had to return to the dealership the next day to get new temporary plates on my loaner car because they were now expired. I was completely fed up with my entire car buying experience and expressed that to a manager who said "oh you have the black civic, I heard about your car." Great! They know they try to pass off shotty work! They paid my first car payment and lowered my interest rate more and I finally got my clean, dent free car. And I've never been back. read more

My previous review of Vandergriff Honda was quite glowing, if I do say so myself. Unfortunately they have not lived up to the expectations I had for them. On several occasions I have taken my car in for service at Vandergriff due to the fact that my car was purchased brand new and is still under warranty. Otherwise I would just take my car to Jiffy Lube and not have to worry about the wait or getting the run around. There have been several occasions where I have taken my car to Vandergriff and received service that lacks in many areas. The lack of communication with customers and the lack of drive that the service department has for customer service is appalling. I bought my car at Vandergriff Honda because of the excellent customer service at Vandergriff Chevrolet. For the remainder of my service contract I will just take my car elsewhere to be serviced because Vandergriff Honda is truly lacking in the service department. read more

As I have just landed a new job, I needed to get a better commuting car for the Metroplex. I've been doing my research and wanted to test drive a new 2013 Civic. I came to the dealership and was greeted nicely while I was browsing the stock on the lot. I told the fellow what I wanted and we went inside to get the things for a test drive. As is the usual thing nowadays, I was handed off to another salesperson who was nice as well and we went on the test drive. I really liked the new civic and wanted to proceed with getting pricing and financing info. We came back to the dealership and I told them what I wanted to spend. (Full disclosure, I'm experienced in the car buying process as my father was in the business and I'm not an easy mark) I'm used to having to play the back and forth game of pricing, I know how it works. I know the invoice price and I know what I want to pay. So, he took my info and went to talk to the manager. I expressly said that I wasn't buying a car today, I need the info to make a decision and only then will I buy their car. The manager and salesman returned to make chitchat and again pressed, "What will get you to buy this car today?" I retorted that there was nothing short of giving the car to me that would enable me to buy today without further shopping and comparison. At that, the manager shook my hand and walked away leaving me with the salesperson. The sales person grabbed a brochure and offered it with his card. Confused, I asked "Am I going to see pricing and available financing?" The salesman said no.... That I should do all my comparisons and return when I am ready to buy then and there. I've been to many a dealership that works you hard to try to make a deal, but this was the first that refused to make an offer. Needless to say, I will not be buying any car from them. I had previously bought a car from Vandergriff Acura next door, but this was my last interaction with the company. In this economy, how a business could leave a customer cold without so much as a quote is beyond me. If this is standard procedure for them, fine, I get some places don't value service...Wal-Mart, the Post Office, Spirit Airlines. But, buying cars you expect a little more. read more

Although we purchased a car here we were not very satisfied with our service. We found the car online and called KD. KD was very helpful over the phone. When we arrived he had a family emergency and had to leave, which is understandable. We ended up working with Kirby who was helpful at first, but that soon changed. He was working out the numbers with his manager Russell who was nice. Kirby was not at all personable and actually seemed put out by assisting us. He was very sort and rude at times. By the end of the sale he was extremely ticked off to say the least. To be far my husband and I are both sales manager for a large company and know a thing or two about negotiating. Kirby found out we owed less than disclosed and made it know to us he wasn't going to make as much money. The finance manager was very helpful and got us exactly what we requested. Overall the experience was okay but we would of left and went elsewhere if the car we were buying was easy to find. Above was my review as if December 27, 2014 since then my experience has gone from okay to terrible. Let me start with the financing. They told us the car (2012 CTS-V) was out of warranty and sold me a $2000 extended warranty. It was for 3 years or 36,000 miles. Well turns out my car has 61,000 miles on it and the factory warranty is good for 10 years or 100,000 miles. A complete waste of money! When confronted they said oh sorry and offered to give us a free tire and wheel warranty or we can cancel it. Now if we cancel it the 2000 goes towards the loan and of course will not effect the payments. Now I'm happy there is an option but that is nothing special for being lied to, anyone can return/cancel a warranty. When we purchased the car we got an IOU to fix the rims. They promised the car back in two days it took five days. They also promised they would try to fix the bumper that had some pins missing. They did not even attempt to fix it being frustrated I didn't ask a third time. Also since talking with Kirby about getting my IOU repairs completed he hung up on on me twice and would argue with me about when he promised my vehicle to be done. I have talk to Russell about him and he promises to address the situation. Might I also mention the car they sold me has a major recall and I will be having to drop it off at a Cadillac dealership. Everything is covered but I feel that is something they probably should've taken care of before they sold the vehicle especially since it would've cost them nothing. Needless to say I will never recommend this dealership to anybody that I know friend or enemy they are terrible lying people. read more

Once again, having to post a negative review. So so so dissatisfied. My vehicle was recently in a car wreck in Florida. After it being fixed and driving back home, I found out there was an electrical problem. After being led from place after place, my vehicle ended up in their shop. Here I will have to give a half "shout out" to Mike in service. He helped me out by fighting corporate and helping drop the price of my service bill to $100. After spending so much on dealing with insurance and fighting them for costs to be covered. I do appreciate that so much, but for once I would love them to be honest & own up to their mistakes. I arrived to pick up my car & there are multiple scratches on my freshly painted hood. Mike kept claiming and claiming that Honda Service didn't do it. Even though I specifically told them NOT TO WASH OR BUFF MY CAR. He then sent me away from the dealership to the first location my vehicle arrived at trying to point the finger at them. DFW Collision Center did not even wash my car. I purchased my vehicle from Vandergriff Honda & serviced a few times, and I do NOT suggest their location to anyone. Probably never will. read more

Today we went to Vandergriff Honda and got the most AMAZING holiday deal!!! Omar Ojeda took great care of us and got us the best deal (Thank you TJ for working with us!) as well as Minh Nguyen taking care of our warranty. Drove off with a 2019 with 6 miles. We had the fastest, most caring experience that I've ever had (and I've bought 13 cars in my life). We got red carpet customer service, from the reminder call of our appointment to greeting us when we arrived, very family oriented team. Everyone talked to us to get to know us a little, we didn't feel like just another customer. Thank you guys so much, we will be returning to get our baby a car when the time comes read more

I called three times and left them notes regarding my payments in the past month, just wanted to clarify something. They promised me to call me back but they never did. Also, my brand new 2014 CRV has a package that every 6 months I can come back for a free maintenance but it's almost 7 months, I still not hearing anything from Vandergriff, no call, no mail/email. I'm extremely unsatisfied with the quality of your customer service. Vandergriff is one of the biggest car dealers in Arlington and that's why I purchased my car there, but you guys didn't live up to my expectation. read more

I'll save anyone that reads this review a lot of time. Worst prices in all of DFW. I've visited all the big Honda dealers around and these guys have the highest prices in return for nothing extra. They won't tell you over the phone and promise good deals if you go in person. They'll start you off with an inflated sticker price of added special dealer accessories (all a joke), sorry but ugly pinstripes that NOBODY ASKED FOR are not worth a few hundred dollars. I inquired about a civic si, they wanted over 27 thousand for it (this is after some negotiation, so imagine what the original asking price was), for an outgoing model with next years around the corner. To put that in perspective, most other dealers are selling the same car for 23-24k with minimal negotiation. I also asked about a type r, which they wanted 48k for, again, other dealers in dfw are going around 40k, which I was told upfront by those other dealers, unlike vandergriff who wouldn't tell me over the phone. Simply go to another dealership, they aren't a Honda monopoly in dfw. The people were nice, but, I'm not paying an extra 5 grand for that. read more
