There is plenty of parking and many areas to sit down. Tip - call ahead and reserve an outdoor seat in the shade as it can get very hot up there and many of the tables do not have umbrellas. If a manager is a reason this - I think it would be very useful to add additional umbrellas to the lower decks so that patrons will stay longer. It just gets way too hot sitting by an uncovered table. It's "self service" and you order at the counter and pick up your food. They have many options for beers. I think the only non- alcoholic option was cokes. We ordered the cheese pizza which was fine. I mean you don't really come here for the food- it's more about the view , vibe and drinks. Although they did have a great food truck the day we went that sold smash burgers and fries which was really nice. The bathrooms are clean - although one of the soap dispensers and taps were not working. Also- they ran out of paper towels to dry your hands. I think it was just very busy when we went. I did appreciate that they had a stool in the bathrooms for younger kids - which is very helpful. I did see many patrons brought their dogs which is quite nice that you can enjoy some drinks and food with your furry friends. My kids just loved it there. They could run around on the grass and roll down the hills. Like I said - it's just such a great vibe. They also had a band playing which was really nice. I also noticed a little craft market / vintage market next to the restaurant as well. If you are in the area and want some grown up drinks and a vibe - go check this place out.

They also have food trucks outside that serve food till 6 pm. The brewery is open till 10 pm and last call is at 9 so no one is rushing people out at sunset. There was also a wedding the day we were there which was so lovely! We got tacos and hot dogs which were great. We also got the dreamsicle frose and a bunch of beer flights to try. We sat inside earlier in the day when it was hotter since the dogs would be uncomfortable in the heat but at 5'pm the weather got real nice so we moved outdoors. They also have an alpaca which the kids went crazy for and also lots of goats. And review the wedding party experience. We had a private space upstairs and we were able to order downstairs or upstairs. Everything came out fairly quickly. The staff were all very nice and bathrooms were clean. So what did I try...I tried their logo lager (really good), honey bbq chicken wings (quite big so it was filling to have 1 order of 6 wings), classic nachos (wasn't my favorite but still decent), loaded tater tots (was a big hit with all the kids and me), Italian sub (I did like this but the bread used was just too hard for me so I mainly picked at the things inside), pepperoni pizza (just your average pizza but goes great with beer), and last thing I tried was the gluten free brownie with ice cream (I enjoyed it). All and all thought this place has a decent selection of bar foods that were mostly tasty. I thought their portions were really good as well. I would come back to try more of their drinks.

I've been going to breweries in Northern Virginia for over 14 years now and have seen a ton come and go. From Ocelot, to Old Ox, from Adroit Theory to Aslin, Solace, Honor, Route 7, Wheatland Springs, Dominion, Caboose, Crooked Run, Bluemont, Dirt Farm and probably some more. Bottom line - Lark is your average family get together venue, it rivals with Vanish, Dirt Farm and Bear Chase. Tons of room for the fam to run around and play, however - very limited parking space for the amount of seating areas. The service was okay, as someone who has served Beer and Wine for almost 3 years, I totally understand. However the staff was pretty hard to work with. They would stand behind the counter, they don't make eye contact and they don't ask who's next or really know how to engage the customer. They don't seem to be interested in their own beer. At one point there were 7 employees behind the counter while there were 3 -5 people in line. They should have teamed up and taken care of all 3 - 5 people at once. Pro tip: one person can serve multiple people, you don't need 7 people behind the bar. Get them working, you have waaaaay too many employees and barely any of them know what IBU means. For the beer, if you're a person who uses Untappd, I gave the brewery a 3/5. The beers were okay and probably need a lot more time for research. Why is a pilsner extra hoppy? But if you're really looking for a great venue with amazing service and amazing beer? Annnnnd family time? The food pick up is at the attached building right by the entrance to the bigger building. There are plenty of parking spaces, so you won't struggle with that. The pizzas and pretzels we ordered were not memorable in any way. Will I come again? I might probably try a new winery. Take this review with some salt, though. I'm not a wine person. I came to hang out and sample the place if you know what I mean.

The pizzas are absolutely delicious! Good options for both carnivores and herbivores. The outdoor seating appears to be ample. The weather was cold and windy today, so we opted to sit inside. We normally prefer to sit outside. There are solo stoves out for a warm fire. The view is amazing! Very beautiful. Service is good. Not as friendly as I am used to. We walked it. Looked around and the staff kind of ignored us. It was clear we weren't sure of where we were going. They noticed us and did not say hello. But once we ordered, they seemed to loosen up. The music here is also pretty outstanding. Chill, indie vibe.

The cheese for the soft pretzel had a bit of kick, almost like a nacho cheese. I think it would be great if they developed their own beer cheese in the future. I've been to close to a hundred vineyards now, and the New Version of Three Fox is in my top ten.
