    Pretzel bites and dipping sauces.
    Joe S.

I was passing through on my way to Bethesda, and had a bit of time, so I looked at the reviews for craft breweries in the area. Loudoun Brewing Company had the best review score in town, so I dropped by. The service is great, and I really enjoyed my soft pretzels snack. They are served with melted pimento cheese and a nice mustard as dipping sauces, and both were very good. I didn't go upstairs; I just sat in the entrance room where you order. They had great music and there were interesting conversations. I tasted another option, then chose the IPA pictured. It was so good I had to order a second one!

Came here on a Saturday and it was really quiet. There was a food truck there. Staff were very friendly, and very helpful talking about the different beers. Everything was quite tasty, and would be totally interested in coming back here another time.

Popped in for a beer while visiting. It's a small brewery with some tasty selections. Several IPA's that were very good. Also got a big pretzel served with mustard and pimento cheese. Worth a stop.

Today was our first visit to Loudoun Brewing, and we will definitely be back. We stopped in today because we were in Leesburg to grab lunch and realized we had our LoCo Ale Trail passports with us. We looked for breweries we hadn't been to yet and realized Loudoun Brewing wasn't too far from where we went to lunch. The brewery is a little hard to spot from Market Street and is in a small shopping center right before getting into downtown Leesburg. They have a nice indoor taproom and a patio space outside. The sticker wall down the hallway that leads outside is immense and really cool to look at. The beer we tried was very good. We shared a flight with two saisons that were very different, a golden ale, and an orange sour. Our favorites were the hibiscus saison and an orange sour. We ended up buying a crowler of the hibiscus saison to go.

IMO Nano breweries are hit or miss, and this is definitely a hit! There is a beer on the menu that is called *something* nuts (I took a picture of the menu board for this specific reason, but apparently it was a terrible picture since I cut off the first whole word) and it is SOOOOOOOOOOOOO flipping good, even if I don't know it's actual name. I don't even want to talk about the other beers, which were good also (esp the hand grenade), since this magical creation was like straight up drinking peanut butter and I feel like that's all you need to know. The woman behind the bar was very nice also. We ended up hanging out upstairs and playing hangman on the easel they have out, which was a cool experience for a brewery. They also have a fairly large patio and a little deck too, so there are plenty of spaces to sit and enjoy your glass of PB. :)

Great beer selection a friendly staff! Flights are 4/10$. I really enjoyed their coffee stout! I also came on Lunar New Year and was impressed by the cute spread of cookies that they had for free! Definitely check this place out with your friends, if you're ever in Leesburg!

Good friends, good beer, good shrimp, and good music. Nothing is better!

This was one of our stops during last weekend's Pub Crawl. This was my first time here and I thought it was very cute. They had a nice selection of flavorful, refreshing beers. They had a makeshift stage setup outside and live music playing all afternoon. I'm not sure if they serve food inside but there was a DELICIOUS food truck parked outside (Skrimp Shack out of Winchester VA). The location isn't the best because it's not "downtown" near the other shops, restaurants, and breweries but it's still within walking distance of most everything. Can't wait to go back!

I went to Loudoun Brewing Company last week and absolutely love this place! The menu is always changing and has great bears and sours on tap at an affordable price. I tried a bourbon sour, orange sour, and something that was beer with wine grapes (big fan!). Additionally, their staff is very friendly, Tyler was able to recommend some great choices for me and kept checking on us throughout the night. I also loved the atmosphere, the inside is small, but to the side is a nice fire pit and in the back they set up a tent to help keep warm. Definitely recommend checking it out!

A group of us visited on Black Friday 2015 to taste LBC's brews. It's a small brewery - a Nano brewery, so they don't make huge quantities of beer like Heritage Brewing Co. or Old Bust Head. We opted to do the tasting and sat outside on the side patio of the brewery. Two of us opted for all 8 beers, while the other had a flight of 4. Loud and Brewing IPA (v2) ABV: 7% Hoodie Weather (American Amber) ABV: 5.3% The Dogs Bollocks (English Dry Stout) ABV: 6.5% Thankful (Belgian Cranberry Stout) ABV: 6.6% Blind Squirrel Nut Brown Ale ABV: 5.3% The Bees Knees Honey Wheat Ale ABV: 5.5% Jalapeno Business (Jalapeno Saison) ABV: 6.8% Orange You Glad I Didn't Say Banana (Belgian Quad) ABV: 9.3% I enjoyed trying all of the beers/ales, but was not a fan of the Belgian Cranberry Stout. It left a rather odd aftertaste in the mouth. I'd say the Loud and Brewing IPA, the Hoodie Weather Amber Ale and the Belgian Quad were my faves. We met the guy who is the brewer - nice guy! The space that LBC is in is really small. But there is a decent amount of seating for such a small place: inside on the main floor, upstairs, and there is the side outside patio.

Really nice, friendly nano brewery. Very convenient location too. It's nice to visit a brewery that isn't in an industrial area. Sean was my super friendly server, and he talked me thru Loudoun's eclectic selection. They don't seem to focus on any particular style, and are still too small to have a set of 'flagship' beers. So if you find something you like, buy a growler immediately! They had 8 beers on tap, but here's what I tried: The Dogs Bollocks (English Stout): Lighter body than the Guinness, malty on the finish. Oh My Darlin' (Double IPA): As someone who usually doesn't like IPAs, I was pleasantly surprised this doesn't come off as overly hoppy. The Father (Coriander Lemmon): Light, crisp; one of the better ones. The Son (Cantaloupe Basil): A bit citrusy, but not bad. The Holy Gose (Cherry Mango): I got he mango but not the cherry, but still decent. Loud & Brewing (IPA): Again - standard disclaimer - I generally don't like IPAs. While it wasn't hoppy, I wasn't a fan. This is also the closest they have to a flagship. Blueberry Hop Tart (Blueberry Saison): The blueberry notes were noticeable but soft. I'm definitely going to have to revisit this one, because on the "Too Young To Drink" menu they were advertising a Jalapeno Saison, and a Coffee Porter.

Updating now that we have been there several times. They make really good beer here. And they cover all the bases so if there is something you don't like, for example the super hopped IPAs that are all the craze these days, Loudoun Brewing will always have something else that you do like. Tasting room is cozy with a small traditional bar area and a tv. Upstairs is a little more mellow and there is a small patio. While they don't have a large parking lot, there generally isn't a problem finding a spot. They often have good food trucks there so check in often on Facebook and Twitter.

Liberty Red Ale. Very good on a hot summer day.

Came across this place while waiting for my wife to get her nails done. Decided to get the Liberty red ale and take it to their outdoor seating section. A nice, relaxing place to just enjoy a beer outdoors, without all the noise, hustle and bustle of other bars. Located in a quiet shopping center mostly surrounded by trees, Loudoun Brewing Company is as close as you'll get to enjoying a quality beer in your own backyard. Might have to come with my wife to get her nails done every time now just to stop by!

Loudon Brewing Company is a small Nano brewery in Leesburg. It's located in a converted house- the flag labeled beer outside is helpful, otherwise we might have missed it. We were able to get parking right in the front and hopped inside. We decided to get some flights so we could try all of the beers. Flights come in 4 taster of your choice. Collectively, my husband and I tried: Don't July to Me, Zwei Bier Bitte, Loud and Brewing, The Heir A Pearent, Color of Energy, and Mosaic Sunshine. The beers are a mix of IPAs, saisons, pale, and amber ales. My favorite were the Don't July to Me and The Heir a Pearent which were an ale and saison respectively. The beers were easy to drink and perfect for summer. Service was good and staff was friendly. There is seating on the main floor and upstairs. Very relaxed vibe.

I've been going to breweries in Northern Virginia for over 14 years now and have seen a ton come and go. From Ocelot, to Old Ox, from Adroit Theory to Aslin, Solace, Honor, Route 7, Wheatland Springs, Dominion, Caboose, Crooked Run, Bluemont, Dirt Farm and probably some more. Bottom line - Lark is your average family get together venue, it rivals with Vanish, Dirt Farm and Bear Chase. Tons of room for the fam to run around and play, however - very limited parking space for the amount of seating areas. The service was okay, as someone who has served Beer and Wine for almost 3 years, I totally understand. However the staff was pretty hard to work with. They would stand behind the counter, they don't make eye contact and they don't ask who's next or really know how to engage the customer. They don't seem to be interested in their own beer. At one point there were 7 employees behind the counter while there were 3 -5 people in line. They should have teamed up and taken care of all 3 - 5 people at once. Pro tip: one person can serve multiple people, you don't need 7 people behind the bar. Get them working, you have waaaaay too many employees and barely any of them know what IBU means. For the beer, if you're a person who uses Untappd, I gave the brewery a 3/5. The beers were okay and probably need a lot more time for research. Why is a pilsner extra hoppy? But if you're really looking for a great venue with amazing service and amazing beer? Annnnnd family time? Hit up Wheatland Springs and you will not be disappointed Save yourself some time and money and just go to Ocelot for good beer and for beer and the family go to Wheatland Springs Lark is fairly new to the game but they're pulling the venue vibe card.
