Was in this store earlier around 5 pm with my two children ages 6 and 8 and the music they were playing repeatedly had the "f" word. I don't understand how this is appropriate. They sell kids shoes, I don't even let my 14 year old listen to music with curse words. Then after we had finally found a display shoe with its size in stock the person helping us says, "we ask that you put the displays back"... ummm isn't that what they pay him for? I picked up the 5 pairs of shoes and just put them anywhere on the shelf. Lazy employees! Between the lack of no effs to give and loud rap curse music, I took my kids and left! I'll just order the shoes on Zappos. This store environment is disgusting and is a reason why humanity is going downhill. read more

Went into the vans store at chandler mall and was helped by LaRae who was such a sweetheart and made our experience and purchase one to remember. I called this location because I had ordered all white vans and the protector spray. After one wear, the shoes got dirty and when I tried to clean them, they seemed to get worse. I spoke to a guy who was very understanding as I explained that I wanted to love the shoes but couldn't wear them because they were smudged with dirt. He allowed me to explain the situation to the manager and she was very understanding and offered me an exchange. When I came into the store, I was approached and helped immediately. The guy who I spoke with on the phone helped me with my exchange and was super nice. It was an overall fantastic experience for me! Thank you! read more

Having looking for a certain pair of shoes (brand name will stay anonymous) with no luck for the grater part of about six months I acquiesced to the fact that I needed to look into Vans as I have a long history with their products. Strolled into this location on a Sunday afternoon and began looking around for something specific and to my surprise I found four pairs of shoes I instantly wanted to purchase. I began thinking about what shoes would look good with certain outfits I have - talk about a looking-glass self reflective moment, but I digress. Long story short I walked out having purchased two pairs; one I got in-store and the other I had the team purchase for me on-line and have shipped to my residence. Staff is great, specifically Anthony; all really good people and genuine. The store is very clean and stocked well. Yes you could save money getting Vans elsewhere but the experience and customer service make the retail price well worth it. read more

Bought "Old Skool Lite" from this store. Later that day I checked the price online (vans.com) and it was cheaper. I called the store to check if they charged me wrong, they told me, "Yes, the prices online and in-store can vary for the same product." Now that does not really make sense, official Vans store and THEIR website have different prices for the exact product? So weird. Do check online if you want to save some $$$ and are okay with waiting 2-3 days to get them. read more

Employees were very helpful with an exchange we recently made. Although the person in the check out failed to tell us the shoes were $15 cheaper. The shoes we were exchanging were never worn and still in the box. I let her know at the checkout that I would like to return, and then repurchase. She told me that it's an exchange and that I can not. As a consumer, it is my right. It shouldn't matter. She went ahead and did not do what I requested, and told me that I will be able to use my $20 when I buy $50, so it doesn't matter anyway. I am so disappointed in the customer service with this store. read more
