I started taking lessons with Mark a few years ago when I was a 30 handicap and fairly new to…read moregolfing. Within a year, my handicap had dropped 10 points with consistent lessons from Mark. I was glad to see he opened his own business and has a nice indoor studio. I had played baseball my whole life and had to transition from a baseball swing to a golf swing. At first we concentrated on short game and putting as that is where most strokes are lost on the golf course. Mark played several sports so different sports analogies that he gave during the lessons were useful to connect with me and help me understand where I needed help with my swing. He uses up to date technology to record your swings and give you detailed feedback. Your lessons are uploaded to the V1 app and you are able to refer back to them at any time and even interact with him on there when needed. Mark uses several different training aids to help your swing depending on what you are working on and where the help is needed. Those were very helpful. He also does outdoor lessons and playing lessons. The bunker lessons he gave me was a game changer. I now have the confidence of getting out of any bunker and sometimes intentionally aim for a bunker if I am in trouble off the fairway. I don't dread them anymore. The next thing I struggled with was distance off the tee. He got me fitted with clubs that worked best for me and we worked on lag for several lessons to give me more club head speed. I averaged 180-200 yard drives at first. Now I am consistently hitting 230-260 yard drives, which is helpful having shorter irons in your hand for the approach shot. Fast forward 2 years later after consistently taking 4 lessons a month with him, I am happy to report I am a single handicap golfer. If you stick with him and take consistent lessons, you will not regret it. Mark is one of the most patient instructors I have ever had, especially with me barely being able to hit the ball when I first started with him. I have seen him interact with other students on the range before my lessons and can tell you he goes out of his way to connect with each one of his students in a way that they better their game. I can't thank him enough for what he has done for my golf game.
