After years of dental problems - severe TMJ, repeated fractured teeth, crowns that I would grind out of my mouth in my sleep despite multiple different mouth guards - I decided to try a new dentist and found Dr. Farid. Instead of telling me how we would fix each individual problem that I was having, she told me we needed to change how my mouth works as a whole. I was floored - in all the years of going to numerous dentists, no one had EVER suggested that my mouth could be fixed! She laid out a plan for how we would accomplish this and told me the end result would be teeth that are functional and beautiful. It has been somewhat of a long journey, but right on point with the expectations she set during that first meeting, and I can now say that she came through on her promise and, somehow, more. Thinking about all she has done for me brings tears to my eyes every time. She saw me as a whole person instead of looking at a tooth or a cavity that needed to be fixed. She takes so much care in her work, and always gave me as many options as she could to make me as comfortable as possible. And she never ever made me feel rushed, no matter how many questions I had or how many times after an appointment I called with more follow up questions. As if all that isn't enough, her team completes this perfect package. Her dental hygienist, Nataliya, and her receptionist, Rhonda, are incredibly warm, welcoming, and professional, and were all-in sharing the excitement with me each time we reached a new milestone in my treatment plan. Now all my crowns and bridge is worn down and has holes because it wasn't cemented correctly. Now I have at least $15,000 worth of dental work to be done. I called the office and left a vm explaining what happened. I used to be a dental assistant. You have to check the bite to make sure it's not hitting other teeth and dental work so this doesn't happen. I never got a call back and now I'm stuck with a big expense.

I recommended him to them; as I recommend him to everyone. The 10-20 miles is definitely a road block for my downtown friends to see him (literally, on the Kennedy). His Saturday and evening appointments make it a lot easier. I could go to a place a few blocks from my abode, called something like The Art of Dentistry. The "art" part has always been a little frightening to me. I like that Dr. Terp is a complete dental science nerd. Ask him a question, and he'll geek out on the latest technique or product: the ultrasonic cleaner he uses, the difference between filling materials, the benefits/risks of x-rays... He can get as excited as a geek talking about his latest Comic-Con trip: Talk to the hand, bro; I'd rather hear Dr. Terp talk about the mouth, and it's healthier, in my mind. His office staff is great too. Most recently, Adriana was not only physically skillful in cleaning my teeth, but I felt as much tender, loving care from her as I do from Dr. Terp. In fact, this guy's so loving that he's offered free school check-ups to kids and has a coupon for a free first visit on his website. Bonus: he's around the corner from Paradise Pup. Dr. Schultz has made going to the dentist fun by showing her all the tools, with how gentle she is during cleanings, and my daughter gets to pick something out of the goodie box at the end. I also feel like I've found a forever dentist for myself. She's very thorough when doing cleanings and explains everything. I recently had my bonds upgraded to veneers on six of my teeth, and the process went very smooth. Dr. Schultz took me in as soon as the veneers came in from the lab (literally called me 30 mins after they arrived!) to switch from my temporaries to the permanents because she knew I had a family party that weekend. I can't thank her enough for the work she did - they look beautiful! I went from being embarrassed to smile, to proudly showing my smile again. I highly recommend her to anyone!
