Went here to get a tire repaired because there was a screw in it. They quickly patched it for $25. My tire started leaking so I went back a week later for them to fix the patch. They did so at no extra charge. My tire is still leaking. After going to a reputable tire center they mentioned this patch was done very poorly and not correctly at all. My tire is now compromised and I'll now need to replace the entire tire. With my car, you can't replace just one tire - you need to replace 2. So, now this $25 patch job is going to cost me $500+. 1 Star - Dishonest, Bait-and-Switch Operation 5 Weeks of Calls, Then a Bait and Switch I spent five weeks calling Varella's Tires asking for a specific tire size. They finally told me they had it, so I drove in. When I got there, they gave me a larger size than what I requested. Carlos claimed he'd put them on my same car model before and that they'd work fine. Immediate Issues and Vehicle Damage Right after leaving, my car started making horrible scraping noises when driving over bumps or on the freeway. It was obvious the tires were too big and were damaging my vehicle. No Accountability, Just More Charges I called Carlos back and reminded him I paid $120 for those tires he guaranteed would work. He suddenly said there's no warranty and offered me the "best price" on new tires -- a ridiculous $280 for two. When I questioned the $120 I already paid, he claimed that was just for labor. That is completely false. Went to Guadalajara Tires Instead I ended up going to Guadalajara Tires, where they were professional, transparent, and showed me all the options before doing any work. No bait and switch. TLDR/WARNING: Carlos and Varella's Tires will lie to get your money, install the wrong size, and leave you with damage and no support. DO NOT GO HERE.
