The only good thing about this park is the view. The owner really needs to stay out of campers camping spots. She was walking around our spot in the late night. Looking into our camper and our tent. She was very off putting and made it so we avoided our camp all day. We only stayed the second night because we had already paid in advance. I will never camp at this location again. The spots are to close, the amenities aren't that great. We drove in to food trucks and people everywhere. That is not camping. It's a glorified party campground. The picture shown is the only good experience I had here.

Attended a company picnic at Vasa Park. This is not a public park, but rather a venue that is very park like. As a result, I saw numerous other company groups were also holding picnics here the same afternoon. Vasa Park is located on the shores of Lake Sammamish. It is located a bit east of Eastgate in Bellevue. You drive a long and winding road to reach Vasa. There is a parking lot across the street for your convenience. While you don't have to pay for parking, there is an entrance fee if you are not coming here as part of a group function. There are numerous picnic table areas here along with space for barbecue grilling. Since it is a private venue, I thought it was cool that my company was able to bring in a dunk tank and an ice cream truck for the event. You couldn't do that at a local park. I wouldn't come here on my own though. I don't think the day fee is worth it. There are numerous public beach parks nearby that are comparable to what they offer here. But as a private venue, this is a nice spot to hold an outdoor company event in the summer by the water.

Loved this place! Stayed over night in campsite 4 - yes, the sites are close to one another but that did not bother us. There's plenty of room to set up your campsite. The staff is great - nice people making sure your stay is going well. They even come and drop off fire pits when you request it. The electrical outlets come in handy. Showers are $.25 per 5 minutes - not bad at all I'll definitely be back.

It's a nice park, it's got that private feel to it so felt safe with kids running around and playing.

A pretty venue for a small wedding. Two things I did not like:…read more1) they only let you have a rehearsal for an hour between 9 to 4 weekdays which meant anyone working normal business hours or coming from out of town could not make it. 2) Joanna interrupted me during the reception to go over the credit she was giving me. We had scheduled an hour at the end of our rental for clean up (which was plenty of time since we did not serve food) so I don't know why she felt the need to interrupt me during a busy hectic time for something like that.

The highlight of working with this venue is Joanna. She is so incredibly warm and welcoming and focused on creating the event you want. She was available all the time and always answered emails and phone calls promptly. She is flexible and happy to meet and show you around and walk the grounds with you. She also suggested my amazing planner, Julia Pavlovski of Wedding Wise Seattle, and for that I am forever grateful (sorry, shameless plug, but it really was such a great recommendation). When I arrived to Robinswood on the day of, overwhelmed by everything that was going wrong (sooooo many things went wrong) Joanna saw me and gave me a giant hug and it really reassured me that she and the team were going to make sure everything in their power went perfect. And they did. The space is intimate. They say that they can fit over 200 people, but I wouldn't suggest it for over 100-125 as I feel you'd be quite cramped. We wanted an outdoor wedding and as it rained (even though the forecast was only 10% chance!!) on our big day, having the log cabin and awnings was a great relief for ourselves and our guests while the teams were prepping the reception area. The grounds are unique. I am actually a huge fan of the flow from ceremony garden area to cocktail/dancing area to reception area. It kept everyone organized and in one place. Additionally, their staff for day of is really great. We got compliments about the bartender and serving staff. I would say the things to be aware of is a lack of flexibility on their policies. Their policies are their policies and there isn't wiggle room, so if you were hoping to work with a specific caterer who isn't on their list, or serve liquor, or do a sparkler send off, etc be prepared to nix those ideas. In a way, it actually does make it easier for a bride to make decisions by narrowing down the options (trust me future brides, a million options is not always a good thing), but for people who have a very very specific idea in mind, talk to Joanna about those specific ideas before signing your contract to ensure detail you have in mind is allowed. Over all, we are very happy with Robinswood House. It was great for our perfectly imperfect day!

There is a day use fee but they offer punch cards for regular use. The gym is huge. Has upper seating area. It is 3 basketball courts they place baby gates between for multiple classes. Jazzercise is going on at one end while my daughter has volleyball at the other end. The coach struggles to talk over the music of that other class. It is carpeted as well. They have lots of kid classes available here. And there are some classroom areas, so things like Tai Chi can happen in a less loud environment, but it's not perfect. There is a walking track around the gym upstairs but it costs to walk ....$3. I like this place b/c they offer classes my kids want to try. Younger kids have plenty of sports leagues to enjoy. They have a gym and you can get a good workout here without joining a gym elsewhere. It's nice when the community center is clean and offers a lot. We enjoy utilizing this place. They do not charge extra for non city residents like most of the cities around here.

However, for the amount of money they invest into the property and what guests are paying, the rooms should definitely be updated. The finishes and overall feel are a bit dated and don't quite match the price point or expectations for a special occasion stay. The staff was friendly and polite throughout our visit, which made interactions pleasant. One downside was the early check in time I paid extra for was not accommodated when we arrived. They did refund it, which I appreciated, but it was still inconvenient since we planned our anniversary schedule around getting into the room early. Brunch was good but limited, and having more menu options would really improve the overall experience. With some room updates and expanded brunch choices, this place would be much better. Right now it is solid, but not quite at the level it could be for the price and occasion.

I was not expecting this level of customer service from a hotel with such a strong reputation. 1. Initial Check-In: When we checked in, Aaron at the front desk immediately tried to upsell us on a room upgrade. I informed him that our Black Friday reservation included a complimentary upgrade based on availability, and that I hold Titanium status with Marriott with over 89 nights per year in the network. His demeanor shifted -- he dropped the pitch and told us there was no availability. We were placed on the 2nd floor in an undesirable room tucked behind trees (room 2830) 2. Extending Our Stay: Stranded due to the East Coast snowstorm, the front desk said they could not modify our reservation. Shaleah told us to book online -- where the minimum was 2 nights. I brought my laptop to confirm the issue before booking and she said she could adjust it to 1 night and apply a trip interruption rate. Once booked, the story changed to how we needed to email quality to get the night refund and the trip interruption rate applied. Additionally,, we couldn't use the same room and were forced to check out at 11 AM and check back in at 4 PM. 3. Smoke in the New Room: Our new room reeked of cigarette or cigar smoke. Housekeeping confirmed the smell and promised a room change by 5 PM. We heard nothing. At 8 PM, the front desk said they could not move us -- leaving our three young children (ages 5, 3, and 2) sleeping in a smoke-filled room overnight. This is a serious health concern that should not have been dismissed. I spent approximately $5,000 on the initial reservation, $4,000 in expenses throughout the week, and an additional $1,400 plus $750 for one night stay in a smoke-filled room -- over $12,000 total for a deeply disappointing experience. It didn't feel like the staff was trying to help me. It felt like you were trying to nickel and dime me for everything. It also felt like there was no management in site and the staff was clueless. It resembled the infuriating car buying experience where they needed to phone someone to make any changes.
