As far as ambient settings, it's a dive bar. I come here for a beer while waiting for my food, next door at Jimmy's. Most of the bartenders are really sweet. I came in, same down. She was talking to who I assumed were her friends or regulars. Did not acknowledge me for almost 5 minutes. There is one that wears a baseball cap, that can't take a joke, though. She poured a really foamy seltzer that dissipated. I joked and said, Did a ghost drink my beer?" She got snippy, said I drank it. Then tried to explain that the foam dissipated. Well, duh. Pour properly, then. I had said it light hearted, but she took an offense and said that she had always treated respectfully and that I was being a Bitch. Wow, okay. Bye! Second time coming to the vault on a Friday night. Parking is great, there is plenty.Bathrooms are clean. Music is good they had a DJ both times I went. The decor is beautiful. They do have a pool table and games to play which is nice. The only thing is both times I went the crowd is kind of hit or miss there was a small fight both times I went. Security breaks it up pretty fast. I would recommend if you're with a group or a friend. read more

Incompetent bartenders here. I asked for a Manhattan and got something pink and fizzy with cranberry juice and syrup. Bartender insisted it was a "Manhattan." It certainly wasn't. It's fine that a bartender sometimes doesn't know how to make the old school drinks. The pool tables play fast. A nice selection of beer and alcohol. A very diverse crowd. From all walks of life. Never had a problem. Every one is always nice. Nice jukebox. This gross place deserves to be shut down. The patrons are sketchy, the bartenders are often drunk and taking shots with people (and ignoring others). They are extremely rude, the drinks taste like rubbing alcohol, the ambiance is so off and they hate having people come give them business. One star because the drinks are good but the environment is so off if you're Latino. A group of 6 of us went and we were towards the back table near the pool tables and we kept getting stared down left and right by another group. One of the females in the group started saying slurs and bringing up politics and trying to rile up the men in her group. It was very uncomfortable. I couldn't even enjoy my time. Then one of her male friends kept cussing us out and we weren't even telling them anything, we were just sitting there. We ended up leaving because we didn't feel safe anymore. We came here to watch our friend Ruben Dj for the night. We came here prior to when it was a different name. The new name and vibe have attracted a new crowd. It was nice to have more light in the bar and entertainment. They served fresh tacos outside, and the drinks weren't badly priced. The bar tenders were friendly, and the beer was cold! Friday nights are my favorite here at the Vault. VJ Envy is awesome and I always have a great time dancing. Or maybe you wanna shoot some pool, they have a couple of pool tables to accommodate you. The ladies who work the bar are welcoming and friendly (and hot!). There are lots of regulars here and there is a reason for that...It's a great vibe! Saturday nights are more laid back. The Vault just opened about 4 days ago and I had been waiting to try it out. So today I got my chance. La Mirada doesn't have very many bars so the Vault is a great addition to the neighborhood. I arrived around 12:30. There were 4 other people sitting at the bar. The bar itself is sunk into the floor. There are chairs surrounding it rather than barstools which I liked. There are two booths near the back door and a few high and low top tables scattered around. I thinking once June 15 comes around more tables will be added. One side of the bar has a pool table and other games. There are also several TVs available for your sports viewing enjoyment. Overall, I would say the Vault's Devore is sports bar-ish. Becky was a the bartender and she was very nice. She also makes a great Maker's Mark Manhattan. Along with hard alcohol, wine, draft and bottled beer are served. The drink prices are very reasonable. Food isn't available, and I don't know if it will be in the future. From what I can see it doesn't look like there is room for a kitchen. I think you can bring your own food in, but I recommend checking with the bartender before you do. There are several restaurants that share the same parking lot with the Vault. Parking was easy. There is a back door to the Vault. As every good bar fly knows, you NEVER enter through the front door. Only rookies do that. It's always scary opening a new bar or restaurant. Especially during COVID. I'm confident the Vault will succeed. I think I found me new watering hole. read more

Tonight was our second time and it was the same bad experience. The bar tender with the white cap is so rude. She ignores you until you practically have to be in her face for her to even notice you. Then we ordered a margarita and it was a premixed fake margarita. Next time I will make sure I see her making it. Cool little dive bar. I was there on a Friday night for a retirement party and it was a blast. The bar staff great. They were super fast and we never had to wait for a drink. They had a taco company out front and their food was great too. They had a DJ that played 80's-90's and 2000 dance music. I'm not much of a dancer, but it got me out on the floor. This was my second time there and on good faith I will never return. I witnessed one of the security guards aggressively tell a table of 2 couples to "get the fuck out" as they were trying to finish their last drink. When the group did not leave fast enough, the security guard sucker punched one of the guys, then all of a sudden several guards and their buddies jumped the two guys. It was obvious the guards were in their late 20s and the two guys were in their early 50s. The wives were frantic and once they tossed them out, they attacked one of the wives for filming. They pushed her and tossed her phone on the roof. The group of guys with the guards were bragging about that being the third time they all jumped someone. This was so disgusting to witness and the bartenders were also saying the same thing. Be aware to any locals looking for a chill night, this place is not it! I'm giving a two because they have good drinks and the bar itself was fun the night we went but the service and hospitality is the main reason I'm leaving the review I am. My friend and I had waited a good amount of time to use the bathroom so we decided to go in together. As we both are using the bathroom and washing our hands, the bathroom door begins to be pounded on (took a little over 2 mins all together for both of us). We come out to see it's one of the bartenders which also never said anything to us after rudely pounding on the door. Later on, one of our friends went up to the bar to ask for two cups of water and brought it back. We were in a group of five so we finished them pretty quick. My friend that I used the restroom with went up to the bar and asked a different bartender for more water and was told "can you wait like 10 minutes"... I could understand if we were asking for a round of shots back to back but water? It definitely made us not comfortable to go up to the bar to order that night so I doubt we will be back. read more
