The restaurant was nice and very clean! However I'm still confused how the process works on the seating. There were so many ways to get to a seat but we decided to go to the desk area to wait to be seated. We looked around and couldn't find anyone, so we asked a couple that was already seated and they said to just go grab a seat because the same thing happened to them. So once we grabbed our seats, the waiter went to the front desk and brought our menus. They were very nice and one was a Dallas cowboys fan, so she started playing like she couldn't serve me because of my Eagle hat. Anyway, we enjoyed the service and our waitress. As for the food, I ordered the fish tacos and they were ok. I'm not sure I would get them again. Also the kids meals looked very plain and boring (penne pasta with nothing on it and a cheese pizza). We did say we weren't going to really eat much because we were headed to Knott's Boysenberry Festival so we were saving room for that. Overall, it was a decent meal and nothing to write home about. There wasn't anything wrong because my kids ate their food and I thought my tacos were just ok. If you are staying in the hotel, I would suggest you see what's in the mall outside first and the hotel front desk will give you some great recommendations on food write out the door. I originally bookmarked the Rosemary Room for brunch, but we ended up coming for dinner instead. We ordered the beef sliders, truffle Parmesan fries, and I had the hibiscus margarita. Everything was really good. The food was solid, and the pricing felt fair for today's world--not cheap, but not outrageous either. Honestly, since it's inside a hotel, my expectations weren't sky-high, but the food pleasantly surprised me. I'd definitely come back, especially to try their brunch. The reason it's four stars instead of five comes down to the atmosphere and staffing. The restaurant sits right in the hotel lobby with no walls, so you hear everything--hotel guests coming and going, music playing in the lobby, the TV from the bar, and general foot traffic. If you're looking for a quiet, relaxed dinner, this might feel a little overstimulating. Also, our waiter (who was great, by the way) seemed to be doing the job of about three people. He was taking orders, bringing drinks and food, running payments, and even delivering room service. The poor guy was working like he owed the hotel money. My friend & I came here for the first time last Friday evening for drinks. We sat at the bar & I ordered the penicillin & I believe my friend had the hibiscus margarita. They serve HH everyday from 5-7 which is good to know for the future. Our bartender was very friendly & made excellent drinks although the price was steep for their non HH price. Their menu had good options as far as wine, beer, cocktails, & bites as well. The bar is located inside the Hilton hotel on the first floor. Ambiance was clean, spacious, & nice! 1/5/2025 NO SET MENU I've just discovered this restaurant and found their menu on Yelp and on Google reviews. According to the staff, the Hilton and Rosemary Room has officially opened in the summer of 2024. When I arrived today for brunch, to my displeasure, the menu has changed completely! I came here to get the lobster omelet and the assorted pastry basket, but none was on the menu! No menu posted on the Hilton website for the Rosemary Room. I found their menu on Yelp and Google reviews, which is now an old menu, which is strange, as I have seen someone post the menu about a month ago. The menu given today is a limited menu and nobody knows if that will change again. Also, this is for the Weekend Brunch menu and not for any other menu. Very confusing. It's unfortunate because the original menu on Yelp and Google reviews looked so promising! BREAKFAST SANDWICH Overall the sandwich was okay. It did not match the price of the sandwich. The first bite was good, but slowly that declined with each bite. The eggs were soft, but salty. Pretzel bun flavor was there, but it was cold and a bit dense. The garlic rosemary aioli was good. But it was not enough. The sweet potato hot sauce was barely present. The two sauces did not go together. Sausage were sausage links, not sausage patty and the links kept falling out. Arugula was added and although that cut the overall butteryness and oilyness of the sandwich, it was difficult to eat without it coming out of the sandwich Side of diced roasted potatoes and sweet potatoes were the best part of the meal. It was lightly seasoned and it really was the better accompaniment of the sandwich and dish. Had a cup of hot Earl Grey tea, as I wanted a hot drink. Earl Grey tea was not bad, even though it was a tea bag. LOCATION / PARKING Inside Hilton Hotel. On Brenner + Orangethorpe. There's a free parking structure right next to the Hilton or you can street park, but it is limited. Valet parking is available as well. The Rosemary Room restaurant in the lobby area was exquisite. We ordered the chia pudding to share for breakfast which has a ginger peach jam that is OH SO DIVINE and is the perfect balance of sweet and spicy. Our server, Rodolfo, was always kind and helpful and did his best to accommodate us with our menu questions (including checking with the kitchen that the pudding didn't have stevia or added sweeteners since I am allergic). We came back for lunch and ordered the Elote salad with salmon, and the chicken sandwich. They were both incredibly fresh and the salad was HUGE! Stayed at the hotel and had Breakfast on Sunday. No one was sitting here? Probably should have gotten the hint... We had the regular 2 egg, sausage and potatoes. Didn't come with bread and they don't offer cappuccino or lattes. The sausage I thought was pork but ended up to be a bland turkey sausage. They gave me regular coffee but had to ask for cream and the server forgot to provide a spoon. Bad service! But the cinnamon bun pancake was good! read more

The atmosphere and overall vibe inside are excellent--really stylish, comfortable, and well put together. It's easily one of the best-looking spots in the area. Unfortunately, the food didn't match the setting. I ordered an à la carte breakfast, and it came out cold, like it had been sitting for a while. The atmosphere is very nice and contemporary. The service provided by Justin and Erica is World class customer service. My server recommended the Chashu Hash Skillet - crispy potatoes, maple soy glazed Long Beach mushrooms, pickled Fresno chiles, and two sunny side eggs. They have some great additive free tequila. Not cheap but you pay to drink the best. They also have the crap stuff like Casamigos and don julio but why drink that when you can drink Ocho and fortaleza. Paul and Russel were on it. They were always. Fast and kept the drinks flowing. Rudy provided absolutely AMAZING service. My family absolutely loved him and his hospitality. His personality shines through especially to a family wrangling three kids through a family vacation. We came into the Hilton hotel and were taken care of by some amazing people. Me and my boyfriend were celebrating our 5 year anniversary and decided to eat at the rosemary room in the hotel. Oh. My. God. This was the best!!! The drinks were amazing, tasty and well made. We ordered -the chase pork and crispy rice -the farmers market flatbread- added pork belly to it for some protein, definitely recommend! -whipped Bree- definitely different but if your a Bree fan do it -lastly the honey Meyer lemon semifreddo- I believe it's spelled Soooo good!!! - also thank you Justin for the champagne to celebrate our wonderful day, as well as a huge shout out to Mia in the front desk for making our stay even more incredible!!! I didn't realize this restaurant was located in the lobby of a Hilton. In looking up restaurants, I was more focused on the location as my friend and I live in wildly different sides of the LA County area, and never noticed any comments about the hotel. Overall, I'd say that the service was good (although we were also the only ones there), but also that I'm annoyed that I had no choice but to valet my car. The food was just fine. There wasn't anything terrible, but nor was there anything spectacular about the food. In reading more reviews now, it does seem like this place tends to favor brunch-goers (though, in all honesty, I don't think I'm likely to try it). read more

To stumble upon places with a vibe, food is yummy and drinks are the best is very rare. But this gem, inside the Hilton, is all I need during my six week stay. I don't want to distract you from the main course menu but let me tell you something!? The salmon appetizer baked in a light dough is all I needed. I was full and ate every single bite. Wow- breakfast was amazing. So much better than typical hotel fare- definitely order the pastry basket as a starter for the table. Daughter had a potato hash with pork belly, I had the pancakes, also shared a prosciutto sourdough toast. All delicious, but the three house made jams from the pastry basket were the real stars of the show. Coming back for lunch or dinner in a few weeks so I can explore more of the menu. The seating at The Rosemary Room is ideal, it's really almost an extension of the lobby, with plenty of room between tables for privacy. The food was good. I had the rosemary benedict, which was very tasty. The potatoes had some cold spots. My wife had the skillet with potatoes that were cooked in bacon fat! It was good. The servers were very nice, but we had to wait a long time to be seated in a not-so-busy restaurant. This is a very clean, modern hotel lobby restaurant.
