I really like this place. I had been eyeing this place for a while and finally had the time and money to go try it out. I was not disappointed:) First and foremost the flavor was amazing and the price made the food taste even better. I had the Veg Korma curry. ( Consists of bell peppers, peas, carrots, potatoes, and little cubes of paneer.) The sauce was perfectly luscious, velvety, and flavorful. I also loved that the rice came with the food for FREE! Everybody has experienced the"do you want rice with that" scam. (OF COURSE I WANT RICE FOOL!) There's nothing I hate more than being charged for rice on a meal that is ALWAYS EATEN WITH RICE! Really good flavors! It's hard trying to find vegan food to eat out around my office, nummy! I happen to be eating vegan presently, but I love meat, and I love good food with good flavors, so it's not good for vegetarian, it's actually good flavors period. I love this spot. Not usually a fan of eating out at Indian restaurants only because I have friends or family members who are excellent cooks specifically Indian dishes. However this spot changed my opinion. I must say the one dish they make better then anyone else hands down is the Paneer palak (Spinach and cheese). This paired with their jasmine rice is just yum! I also love their samosas, so huge and the filling is soo tasty. Can't beat the price @ $.75 (this is unheard of people). You can choose to get the samosa chaat with the works, chutney etc. Choose to dine in or take away. The spot is small yet clean nothing too fancy but the food is great, made with love! read more

I have had the pleasure of sampling many different items and all were full of flavor and seasoned to perfection. Amazing gluten free options. Just ask whether or not they are using bread or garbanzo bean flour and they will know what you mean. Mango lassi, best I have ever had, not too thick and I really liked the flavor. The garbanzo bean flour sweets - delicious, I had one, then two, then 3, I swear they are small treats but worth every calorie. Fried Korma, gluten free and tasty! Great food, great service, and convenient location just off of Hwy 37/29. Nothing high-end, obviously, but I called in for a take out. The lady who took our order was simply lovely. My husband never orders vegetarian food, and he too was pleased. I went there for the first time at night and had a hard time locating the "VEC" sign, which was unlit. They have ginormous samosas which make a great starter served with a sweet sauce. Each plate comes with rice, salad, pickles and yogurt dressing. Had to update my review and downgrade the stars. After several more times of coming here and consistently finding strands of hair in my samosas, I just can't stand by my earlier impression. Because they offer such competitive prices and there are almost no other Indian places in the Vallejo area, I might have to go back a few more times.
