First time here. No wait on a Sunday morning. The server was friendly. The vibe when I went seemed warm and inviting. The place was decorated for Easter. It went really well with their yellow wall. I like how the wall has charlie brown characters. The place appeared very well kept/clean. The food came out quickly. My daughter is a picky eater but she liked their oatmeal which means I will be back. I ordered spam and eggs which is always kind of comforting. It tasted as expected which is good. I'm surprised I haven't tried this place sooner. I would go back.

First time at this location. It's located in the Glen Cove Plaza. We've eaten at the Suisun location a few times throughout the yrs so it's nice that they opened up one in Vallejo since it's closer. The ambience is definitely a total opposite from the Suisun location which has a waterfront location, outside and inside seating but limited seating inside. This location has no outside seating but it is much bigger inside and the decor is super cute and cozy. I love the Snoopy and Peanuts mural and snoopy screensaver on the TV. The service was fine. Not the best or worse. Our order was taken quickly and got our food quickly. As far as the food. It was okay. There was too much fat on my steak but I liked the fried rice and eggs. Might come back when we are in the area and we'll definitely try something else.

I've been here a couple times when it was purely Von's and also been to Babs in Suisun. I think your experience will greatly depend on what you order. I got the Korean fried chicken. I really enjoyed the flavor! It was about $20 for a half order. But I could only finished 7/10 pieces. Next time I may go for the drumsticks instead. I felt the pieces of thigh were a little dry maybe because of the size. I went with a large group and they were very accommodating! Ken was fantastic! They take reservations. He split the orders up so the kitchen wouldn't be overwhelmed. He took care of our drinks. Our food all came out relatively close together and this was almost noon lunch rush. The people that were happy with their food got the Korean fried chicken or breakfast items. Someone said the pancake was very good. The people that weren't as impressed with the food got burgers (no option to customize the patty doneness) or sandwiches. I think if you stick with what they're better known for you'll have a good experience.

The second location for Bab's Delta Diner is located in the Glen Cove Plaza in Vallejo, along with a Von's Chicken. This review is for the Diner. And yes. Solid work! To clarify, I have not been to the first location either, so this is as unbiased as you can get. Breakfast is often known as the go-to meal, the one that doesn't change. We all know what an overeasy egg should taste like, right? Babs delivers there; the corned beef hash with crispy potatoes and over medium egg tastes just as it should. No frill necessary, until you see the option to have fried rice. Fantastic fried rice for breakfast, tastes just like takeout. We also had the Mickey pancake for our son, super fluffy and not. TOO. SWEET. Playful enough to get a kid to finish his meal! Speaking of playful, the murals on the walls are adorable! I grew up with Peanuts characters as well, clipping newspaper comics and saving them for later. Wide open seating area, very different from the last restaurant that occupied this space (RIP Js garden) Service was quick, server was super friendly, no notes! This is a solid addition to anyone's breakfast rotation. If you're keen on the breakfast staples, come on thru. What I will try next are the other indulgent options, like the short rib loco moco and the stuffed French toast!

Meat lovers Skillet with Chorizo w a piece of Sourdough toast.

Ah. If I was told I could only have one more breakfast on this earth, I'm choosing the Meat Lover Skillet from Vons Babs Delta Diner -- and I'm adding chorizo, because that's where "really good" goes to "hecka crazy deliciousness." This dish is hands‑down my favorite breakfast anywhere. The skillet comes out sizzling, stacked with perfectly seasoned meats, crispy potatoes, and then those two over‑easy eggs on top that break just right. Dayum. It's rich, savory, comforting, and after a few splashes of Cholula, becomes bright and balanced. Every bite feels like a reward for good deeds I've yet to perform. LOL The diner itself has that warm, neighborhood energy -- the kind of place where you instantly relax because you know you're about to be fed well. Service is friendly, portions are generous, and the food is consistently excellent. If you're in Glen Cove and you love a hearty breakfast, do yourself a favor and get the skillet. Add the chorizo. TRUST ME!!

I will say that this review is post-3rd visit. 1st time- came with hubby to checked it out. Was surprised at how huge it was inside but pretty empty. I'm pretty sure we came in the middle of the day when everyone was at school or work. I remember I thought the Korean fried chicken was delicious- specifically the Padak flavor. I have had Korean fried chicken only in LA prior to this and I thought it was delicious. The bathroom didn't like me however! (Sorry- I'm a nurse and bodily functions does not phase me... also maybe this comment will help somebody some day!) Nevertheless, really good! 2nd time- came with coworkers for brunch. I had the chicken and waffles. They told me that I couldn't change it to dark meat. I was sad but powered on. So, since becoming a connoisseur of sorts when it comes to all things chicken and waffles, I resolved to see how I liked it. Ok, I must admit I never would have tried this place again after I found the chicken and waffles to be way overcooked and tough all the way through. Kinda like day old fried chicken, refried. This last time- Gordon Ramsey must have come down and got everyone in shape because customer service was on point. We were greeted by this beautiful woman (ugh I forgot her name but beautiful lady with lots of gold jewelry and updo. I feel like her name was Bobby- I'm sorry if you're reading this gf and I don't remember!) and quickly sat to our table. Very friendly, and let me tell you, very accommodating. So I again wanted to see if I was mistaken the first time I had the chicken and waffles, and I was!!! This was it, people.. delicious! Nice and juicy. Gave me huge leg quarter pieces. When she took our order and I again asked for dark meat, she told me that they already portion out each plate so it would be mixed. I told her about the reason why I asked and my last experience. Sister came through because my plate was delicious and dark. Tender, perfectly crunchy on the outside but juicy and moist on the inside. The waffle was heaven as well. They had specials on the menu that I don't get to try (picture shown). My husband had the chilaquiles and he gave it a 10. But the fried rice that he had chosen as a side, he didn't care for much. You get a choice of what the side would be for that specific item, that day (he's had their fried rice previously) wasn't the best. But I also wanted to mention the cute decor upon entrance. Easter themed. I wish I had remembered if there were themes during the other times we've come. All in all! Would come back again if the chicken and waffles will still be on the menu, and if it is again, all dark meat lol

Super Bomb brunch & lunch spot in Vallejo!! Hubby and I per usual came on a Thursday at 11am and we were seated right away. The service from our server was decent and the service of our food was decent as well. Now ...the best part!!! My husband said his fajita omlette was the best omelette he's ever had!! My Chilaquiles was fair...BUT the fresh squeezed orange juice made up for it definitely! We will be back to try additional items on the menu!!

This is my first time visit and I didn't expect a busy weekday lunch with so many customers. We were seated right away, the server I don't know her name, was pleasant, courteous and made sure met our needs despite the busyness. This diner is located in a plaza with plenty of parking space. The area inside looked packed to me probably because that same time there's like a big group company lunch that was seated near us. I agree seats are close next to each other. Amazing menu options of American and Korean food. At 7am-3pm= American breakfast and lunch 11am-2:30pm= Korean dishes 4:30pm-8:30pm= Voms chicken, Korean chicken The place has a cute decor and wall art, clean place even the table condiments are nice neat and clean. Waited 15-20mins before food arrived. The korean bbq short ribs was so delicious! Pricey compared to other short ribs meal (others has white rice & mac) but it is so delectably good with their eggs and fried rice! There's kimchi and toast on the side as well, so hungry that it is worth the price. I also had the Chicken n Waffle, the chickens are huge and tastes like my mom's home cooked fried chicken. The waffles are thick and big and crispy. The left overs were out to-go for later. Overall this is a very good place to eat, reasonably priced, not the cheap or affordable choice for me but the experience and the good food and customer service hope stays the same.

Corn beef hash eggs Benedict (with a splash of hot sauce)

Visited a few weekends ago at 9:30 on a Saturday and boy was it busy (a great sign for longevity). My friend was able to get a table fairly quickly for us and two kids. The place is small but cozy and had really cute decor for the fall season. It was quickly apparent that they sat too many tables at once and were a newer combination of team members because the wait staff were overwhelmed. Our server was very pleasant but was running all over the place so had minimal attention for each table. Our food took over 35 minutes which would have been fine had the delay been communicated and my dish, eggs Benedict, not come out fully cold while we waiting for half of the other food to arrive. Eggs Benedict was good despite the temperature and my friend loved her chicken and waffles so this place has quality, just needs more staff to support how popular it is or a bit more time for servers/kitchen to get coordinated. Will absolutely visit again but will wait a few weeks for the kitchen and staff to get more into a groove.

Went here to check it out with some friends on Saturday morning. It wasn't too packed at 9am when we got there. Food was okay. I got the Eggs Benedict and it was okay but I would expect a better product for the price. The hollandaise sauce was good, ham was okay, muffin was okay and the potato's were ok. Overall it was okay. The servers were all friendly. I might go back to try other dishes because of the food was better or the price was better, this would be a staple in my rotation. My buddies also got Benedict's posted in the pictures.

Stopped for a Tesla charge and was happy to find Babs to still be open. It was around 8pm and nothing sit down really open after 8pm so it was a pleasant surprise. Staff was friendly though I was a little confused because of the stand that greets you when you enter the restaurant says wait to be seated yet it was unmanned. Not a problem, I'll order at the counter. Grabbed a menu and the guy behind the counter asked if it was take out to dine in. I took a seat and he came and took my order. Went with the seafood pancake and the yangnyum wings. Seafood pancake was good. Dipping sauce was great. The chicken however wasn't what I was expecting. The picture on the menu showed what I'd previously had as an example of yangnyeom chicken. What came out on the plate was not that. It was like fried chicken with spoon full of ketchup on each wing. I will say I flipped the chicken to the underside that had no sauce and it was real good. Nice sized wings fried right. Really dug the snoopy decor and the layout of the restaurant. Looking at the reviews I may need to return for breakfast.

Bab's Delta Diner is now in Glen Cove! If you are a fan of their Suisun City location, then you must check their new location out! It's actually TWO businesses in one!! In the mornings, until 2:30 PM, it's Bab's serving up all your fave breakfast/ brunch items. Then it becomes Von's for some yummy Korean Fried Chicken! I actually never ate at their Suisun City location because it's always busy when I try! Which just shows how loved Bab's is. It's def a spot I rec to people visiting - even though I've never been lol I absolutely love how cute and cozy the inside looks. During my visit, it's fall, so it's super cozy! With fall decorations and Snoopy sipping on hot cider(?) or tea(?) playing on the TV; which creates such a cozy ambiance. I love the art work, too! The walls are painted with Snoopy characters which is very fun to look at while you're eating. It adds so much character to the restaurant. It's pretty spacious inside. A good amount of seating for small to big parties. For the food, I 100% recommend their Loco Moco with Bab's Fried Rice! The portions of every dish we ordered was a good sharing size! We also ordered their Ribeye Steak Breakfast, 1/2 French Toast and Korean Short Ribs. Our brunch was for sure a hearty one but hey, we had leftovers for dinner! Service was great. Quick, attentive and kind. I will for sure be back for more!!

Came here on a rainy day and ordered some breakfast. The menu had plenty of options and I decided on 4 slice of Bacon, eggs and fried rice and substituted toast for 1 pancake. The wifey ordered Hash and eggs, fried rice and sour-dough toast. The food came quickly and plenty enough for leftovers. Bacon cooked crispy but still chewy and the Fried rice and Scrambled eggs were good. I split the pancake. Wifey was very happy with the Corned beef hash and by the look of her plate I already knew we needed boxes to go. She also liked everything she got The place was nice with plenty of tables for dining and the staff was quick and friendly and seem to work together well. The place is nice and clean and glad we have a Babs locally. Overall good experience and we would definitely come back.
