I would give them a million stars if I could. If you ever need an emergency vet, this is absolutely the place to go. The entire team was incredible -- caring, attentive, kind, incredibly smart, and honestly just a group of total badass women. We had never been to an emergency vet before, and as you can imagine it's a really traumatic experience when something happens to your pet. They took such amazing care of our cat Luna and treated her with so much patience and love through the whole process. And on top of that... when I fainted from the stress and they had to call paramedics, they immediately jumped in to take care of me too. They made sure I was okay, stayed with me, and handled everything with so much calm and compassion (which I definitely needed in that moment lol). It's hard to explain how grateful we are for the way they showed up for both of us. Our girl is coming home today because of this team, and we'll never forget how well they cared for her -- and for me -- during such a scary moment.

We were initially afraid of taking our dog in because he has become very aggressive, so we were very surprised and pleased they offered to send a list of mobile vets. When that didn't work out, we had to transport our dog to them (which turned out doable because our dog was so sick he was really out of it). Once there, they knew our case and even though there were several patients, they got us into a private room immediately. As with any ER environment, there was a start and stop pattern with the visit, but they did an immediate assessment and then came up with a course of action that included lab work and an ultrasound to diagnose a treatment plan. Fortunately, we had recent veterinary reports to provide additional information because our dog has numerous medical issues. Although we were there for over six hours, we felt we were getting appropriate and satisfactory attention and as comfortable as possible in the private room. You can feel how caring the staff are for everyone there during a distressing time.

Just amazing! No one wants to have to go to the emergency room and they make the experience the best it can be in whatever the circumstance. You never have to leave your pet's side during your visit or stay. We went a couple of times in one weekend and they attended to our dog like it was our child and we were kept looped in throughout our time there. We never had to leave our pet alone even overnight. They will set you up to be able to be there 24/7. The customer support was better than any veterinarian services I've ever dealt with. Highly recommended!!!!

I had to put my cat down last night, and the entire team handled the situation with grace and kindness. When I first walked in, they took me back swiftly and with importance. The vet and assistant quickly checked him over and spoke to me about my options. They spoke with me with incredible grace and compassion, and did not rush me at all. It was absolutely the best experience I could have asked for out of such a horrible circumstance.

    Belle our lil girl!

Our overall experience with veterinary emergency group has been awesome from the minute we went in there with our little dog. (Our animals are our world). They have helped us in so many ways. They were so kind, so professional , so genuine and took everything so seriously we actually went in recently again today and they are superheroes. I'm from New York originally and take professional and care so seriously and haven't found it like this until I stepped into this place! I watched them do everything they could to help an animal in need while tending to my animal in need today and I'm so thankful that I was there to witness it and so thankful that they are the doctors for our dog. I highly recommend anybody to go to this emergency hospital. All the doctors, the staff, and people there are nurses are rockstars! Thank you VEG , Marietta!

Mr. Louis Armstrong. Deeply loved by his family.

This is a hard review to write since our baby passed away, but they were amazing human beings in one of hour saddest moments. The team was incredible, open and clear when discussing his medical situation, and when the time came to make a hard decision, they were so incredibly supportive. A special thank you and huge hug to Tiana who went above and beyond to support and comfort us when we had to say goodbye.

Called before coming here, so they were ready for her visit. I thought it was odd that the employee took her back to the exam area, but told me that they'd call when the vet was done. Waited in the car for about an hour when the call came to pick up my dog. Met with the vet, and he told me that he expressed my dog's anal glands, but also asked if I wanted him to do more tests to ensure there wasn't also something else going on with her. I told him no, paid the vet bill of over $400 which included a small bottle of antibiotics for her, and brought her home. She didn't struggle with pooping after her vet visit. Gave her the antibiotics twice daily until she was done with her meds. She didn't seem to have any lasting effects. Two things that I didn't like were: 1. Me not being able to go with my dog to the exam room. 2. Being told that there may be something else wrong with her but not being provided a good explanation about what it was.

I downloaded Yelp just to leave this single review: Avoid BluePearl at all costs…read more My dog was struggling to breathe with pale gums. I called ahead, and both the receptionist and vet acted completely indifferent. When things got worse, I took him in anyway. What a mistake. The place has the cold, soul-crushing vibe of a jail, not a place that cares about animals. The receptionist greeted me with pure attitude -- "fill this out" and an unmistakable "why are you wasting my time" energy. The vet was even worse. No hello to me or my dog. He barely listened, shrugged off the symptoms like it was nothing, and made me feel like I was overreacting for wanting him seen. I trusted my instincts, walked out, and got the hell away from that place. The very next morning I drove six long hours home to my trusted family vet of years. Bloodwork, X-rays, and ultrasound revealed my dog's spleen was three times normal size and his red blood count was critically low. He's now in treatment, but the vet was blunt: if we had waited based on BluePearl's negligence, it could have easily been fatal. This isn't a veterinary clinic -- it's a disgrace. I mourn for any desperate pet owner who walks through those doors in a crisis. BluePearl doesn't deserve your trust or your money. Run. Go anywhere else.

They called to walk her through it when staff should already know how to file insurance claims. She still couldn't figure it out to the point where I ended up paying close to $400 for my pet visit out of pocket and had to file a claim on my own. Dr.Duran review: Careless provider my pet was seen with GI upset diarrhea. This isn't my first time having my dog seen for this at BluePearl westside (this was the best location that has now closed). Anytime she was seen for this matter they would give her medical support in the clinic and also provide GI SUPPORT for when I got home. For a $400 bill all she did was give her gi soft prescription food. No anti diarrhea/nausea medication to go home with no extra probiotics. Only probiotics I have is the ones I had previously brought. No type of supportive care. I called back up there today two days later because my dog is now vomiting after I specifically asked her for something stronger and she still wouldn't give any prescription. She's the type of provider that wants you to spend unnecessarily amounts of money. If she gives you two options and you choose the cheaper one she give you piss poor care. unacceptable Never had an experience like this with bluepearl but they will not be getting my money anymore. Go here at your own risk . Attached are images Vomit of the food Dr.Duran prescribed my animal wasn't even vomiting initially this is when I called back today and her tech stated that she's wasn't going to do anything else and was not helpful. Leaving with more problems than what we started with.

They tell me every time, he's so good and happy they just keep him out with them during his treatment sessions. He literally gave each person a hug goodbye (he loves them, as do I). I cannot lie, I cried all the way home. Thank you for saving Bogey's life! He is worth every bit of the love, emotional and clinical care he received! Love always, Michele (a grateful mom). Because I adopt all animals abandoned at our own clinic, if Dogwood ever has a critter who's been abandoned or needs a home, they can rest easy I will take them and make their lives happy for the rest of their days.

The second time they only gave her a saline IV for 48 hours and her vet gave her the antibiotic which saved her life. I've spent about $6000 there over 3 visits in less than 2 years. It is criminal what they charge for minimal treatment and some of the nurses treat you like you are crazy. One nurse looked at me in a very threatening way. The other receptionists delayed her treatment and were so pedantic. condescending and neglectful. I will never go back there and wouldn't recommend this clinic to anyone who loves their pet. I spoke to a manager and she confirmed that they would not have given her an antibiotic for a UTI. They have no idea what they are doing and are robbing people of their money. It is sickening and they should lose their license to practice.
