He got me through some REALLY tough times over the past ten years, and honestly I'm not sure how I would have gotten through the pandemic without him. So knowing his time with me was coming to a close, I left it in his hands to tell me when it was time to go. And, unfortunately, that was the day he woke up and his eyes said simply, "Enough." The staff was attentive and kind from the jump. An examination revealed the options, but it was obvious that whatever was happening was quite serious - and I was given a breakdown of potential next steps. Of course with Sid's age, putting him down was also an option, and I already knew this is what we were going with. I did not receive any pressure to run any preliminary tests, procedures, or additional costs. I was simply told what the options were, and provided with an honest opinion of what the outcomes could be. And all options sucked. BUT it was obvious that the people helping me genuinely cared, and it made the heartbreak just a tiny bit easier. I had never had to do this before and I came in with Sid alone, so the vet guided me through what we were doing, what was next, and gave me ample time in between to say goodbye. Again, no real way to make these things less painful, but there was something in the attention and care I was receiving that made me feel like I wasn't going through it alone. The staff was going through it with me. I also received a beautiful card in the mail from them afterwards, hand-signed with a personal message from each - and this small gesture brought such warmth to my heart that I felt I had to share it. Highly recommend this place.

I spent 3+ hours there but it didn't feel like it. I was able to be by his side the entire time, there was hydration and snacks, and I was comfortable. I feel like every nurse checked in with us at least once. Even my cat felt chill enough after a while to curl up and nap in his large cage (they were quite busy and all rooms were taken). As off Feb '25 it was $200 for just the most basic care, for what it's worth, and in our situation it was very much worth it. They sent everything to my usual vet, including recommended follow up testing. Flippin' awesome and so helpful for moving forward after a terrible Sunday!

Had to be fluid in lungs, seasonal allergies... it was not. It was neoplasia, everywhere. He worsened when there. Dr Pugh was as good as one could be. The family all came down, we said our goodbyes. My friend brought her dog, Rusty, to the Carle Place location after he ate mulch and developed a blockage. This was a condition that could be treated with surgery, and my friend was fully willing to do whatever it took financially to save her dog. Instead of discussing surgery as a viable option, Dr. McCabe advised her to put Rusty down. As a pet owner, hearing that when there was still hope and treatment available is absolutely heartbreaking and unacceptable. Thankfully, my friend trusted her instincts and chose to move forward with the surgery anyway. Today, Rusty is alive, healthy, happy, and running around like nothing ever happened. I cannot understand why euthanasia would be pushed so quickly when the issue was treatable and the owner was willing to proceed with care. Pet owners deserve honesty, compassion, and every reasonable option explained to them before being told to say goodbye to a beloved family member.

After searching Yelp for an open Veterinary Hospital on a Friday night; found Eclipse open 24 hours. So, I made the call and spoke with them to confirm they were open and they have the ability to address her situation. Arriving after a 20 minute ride, there was no waiting time, they took her immediately to the treatment area for a prompt examination of her situation. After completing the initial intake documentation we spoke with a technician to explain the situation that led us there. After a period of time, the ER Vet - Dr. Charlotte Van Horne spoke with us regarding the different pathways of a diagnosis for the treatment of vertigo, along with of her progression . The Doc gave a thorough explanation and was showed patience in answering all our questions. She didn't rush or push her treatment, and I appreciated the clear explanations provided and treatment plan. After a day at home, we decided to bring her back Saturday since my dog refused to eat or drink water for approximately 24 hours, hence she was unable to take her meds. The waiting room was busy with other dogs and cats. We spoke with the staff and then consulted with Dr. Katie Bazewicz on her diagnosis and our options. We chose to admit her for the next 24 hours so my dog can get the proper amount of fluids via an I.V.; actually kept her admitted until Monday morning when our dog would be examined by the Vet Neurologist - Dr. Boaz Levitin. He provided a thorough exam and gave his diagnosis which gave us comfort with the current treatment plan and didn't just push us for an MRI, which isn't the best option due to my dog's age. We were extremely impressed with the level of care and attention we received. The entire medical team was professional, knowledgeable, and communicative; from the receptionist, med techs, nurses, doctors, and specialist. The staff were friendly and empathetic throughout our several visits. The facilities were clean and well-maintained. The waiting room is large and nicely decorated for the holidays. They have a complimentary water, along with a coffee/tea/hot chocolate machine to include a soda/snack vending machine. The price points for the services may be higher than your usual Vet bill, however you need to understand that this is a 24 hour ER service. It could be a little pricey, but my question is how important is your furry family member valued by you and your family in your home. Overall, I was very satisfied with the care provided and would highly recommend Eclipse ER Vet Hospital to others. The compassionate and professional service I experienced is a credit to the hospital and its entire staff.

Despite being in the medical field myself, I felt in over my head with a feline emergency. Thankfully, I was met with care and compassion every step of the way starting with the initial triage, and Pouncey was rushed back for immediate evaluation after I described his symptoms. Special thanks to Dr. Kuck, who was extremely thorough and despite already making the initial diagnosis of FLUTD, performed additional workup as Pouncey's bloodwork looked suspicious. She ultimately also diagnosed him with a left kidney mass. Although this was devastating news, she performed the necessary workup and helped me transition seamlessly to his local vet back in California, even calling several days later to follow up and make sure his records got sent over. Pouncey is thankfully on the mend, and is scheduled to see a local surgeon for his tumor - all of this would have been impossible without the expert and timely care from Eclipse!

We were transferred from a North Jersey animal hospital to Red Bank Veterinary Hospital because we were told they were the best of the best -- and my goodness, that could not have been more true. From the emergency team to the greeters at the front desk, every single person treated us with urgency, compassion, and professionalism. They took Paisley in immediately, and the neurology team had her scheduled for an MRI first thing the next morning. I truly cannot say enough about Dr. Sheen. Her compassion, knowledge, and incredible people (and animal!) skills were beyond reassuring during such a traumatic time. She even went the extra mile to check on Paisley's results on her day off. That level of care meant everything to us. After some much-needed good news, we later worked with Dr. Haggerty for five tooth extractions and a root canal. Once again, from the moment we walked through the doors, we were blown away by the level of care and expertise. The hospital itself is spotless, massive, and run so seamlessly. Honestly, if I ever needed surgery, I'd want it to be at Red Bank It is an incredible place for both humans and animals during times of crisis and need. We are forever grateful to the entire team for taking such amazing care of Paisley. Thank you for being exactly who everyone says you are -- the absolute best.
