Great vibes, welcoming atmosphere, and the kind of place that makes you want to stay for "just one drink"... which we all know is how it starts. This Mexican "deli" is conveniently located next to Petco Park. The prices were decent. They have QR code menus on the table or you could order at the counter. It's a very casual place with sports a theme, of course. The food was delicious! At our table of six we tried five meals. Our entire party was extremely satisfied. We had carne asada burritos, California burrito, carnitas burrito, veggie burrito and a plate of nachos. They sell beer. Good size burritos, excellent tortillas! We will be back! It was a bit warm. Came in due to the reviews. I guess when you're drunk food is good. My friend and I ordered. She was told she could order the hard tacos with asada. My food came out first and then something she didn't order was handed to her. Runner walked away, we flagged him down and he took the food and gave it to someone else. First off, that's gross. So he said that he would have them remake it. We waited about another 20 minutes and he walked by us multiple times. I asked how much longer. It took an additional 5 minutes and when it came out it was pork. My friend ended up not eating it and my food lacked so much flavor. You would think that Mexican food close to the border would be good. We can get better for in Orange County and that's saying something. Avoid if you can. read more

$13 for the smallest breakfast burrito I've ever been served. I live upstairs from this place and the burrito was lukewarm by the time I got it to my place...2 minutes after leaving the shop. We also ordered our food before the other couple who came in after us, and their burritos were ready before ours! WTF?!? When I called to complain, the employee said I was the only person who ever complained about the size of the burritos...and yet he was also probably curious why THERE WERE ONLY TWO OTHER PEOPLE in the restaurant on a Sunday at lunch time. LOL. What a joke of a "Mexican" shop. Salsas were also watered down and bland...a good sign that these guys are trying to pass off weak food to simply make a buck and that's it. They are relying on Padres traffic to drive sales and don't give a damn about the community around this place. There is a deli with affordable prices and HUGE, delicious servings two blocks up. The food is amazing I asked for a breakfast burrito and I asked the guy if he could toast my tortilla and add beans and he said "Hell yea!" lol the burrito was perfect the green salsa was even better! Love this location and whenever I come here, the owners and staff are extremely nice, and the food is always good. This location is right across from the ballpark and has been opened for a few months now. The food portions are very large and can often be shared. They make everything fresh, including juices and smoothies. They have a breakfast and lunch/ dinner menu. I have had the carne asada nachos, which I really enjoyed, and get a half order because it's so big. Full order is definitely enough for 2 people to share. I love that they are a touch spicy but not too much. The tirtas are good too, and can are pretty large. The Cubana is my favorite but the asada is good as well. The tortilla soup is something good to grab when you want something to warm you up, I add chicken to it since it doesn't come with it. They also have a few desserts and salads which I've heard good things about but haven't had a chance to try yet. I can say I have not had a bad meal here, and would recommend you check it out if you are in the area or before a game. Very chill and calm atmosphere, especially considering it being right next to Petco Park. Staff were friendly and casual! The food however, was not a vibe for us. The chicken torta lacked flavor and was pretty much a normal chicken sandwich. The enchiladas were severely undercooked, which the sauce was cold, no melting cheese (my favorite part of it). I was confused when that piece of my plate was cold while my chile relleno was super hot.
