I have visited this shop multiple times over the year and have spent hundreds of dollars. Today, I visited with a group, and what I experienced left a bad impression that I can't overlook. From the moment we were inside, the owner Tammy's energy was unwelcoming and abrasive. What made it worse was watching how she treated her own employee -- it was uncomfortable to witness and made the whole atmosphere tense. This wasn't the first time Tammy has talked down to her employee. Over the course of the year she has repeatedly belittled and been overly harsh to her. Then came the accusation. We were actively browsing, holding items we clearly intended to purchase, standing near the register and speaking with the employee, and the owner approached us in a way that made it obvious she suspected us of stealing. No one in our group stole anything. The items were in our hands the entire time. A public response has since been made claiming there is video evidence of theft. There is no such evidence, because nothing happened. Tammy, I would love to see this video you say you have. Making a false accusation as serious as stealing isn't something to take lightly. The owner of this business is unprofessional and deceitful. Not somewhere I would recommend. The owner (Im assuming that is who she was) is not very friendly and apparently doesnt seem to like Californians too much. (There was a short comment made with an inflection. ) Ive lived in nevada for some time now, and am a transplant from Ca, however 50 percent or more of the people who live in the vegas metro area are from southern ca. To you old timers who have lived in NV your whole lives, you should know that Nevada (with the exception of the small towns) has been a transient town since the 1940s when people started moving form Mississippi to work at the Magnesium mines in north las vegas. Vegas has been a transient town for years with people from all over the country and world moving here. Get with the times! The only original habitats here were the native American tribes. Also, you can thank those high california taxes for paying for your federal programs. New york and California pay alot of taxes because they help the entire united states federal programs. That also included any covid relief funds you got for your business. Thats right, all out of my pocket and my husbands to help your state. Google it! With that said, I didnt drive almost an hour through grid lock traffic to be insulted. And neither should anyone else! If you have opinions about people from other states and you own a business and are speaking to clients, you should keep that to yourself. Its not professional. If you enjoy a nice clean crystal store with a decent supply of products, great! If you are looking for pleasant and warm customer service, dont bother coming here. (in response your response) No I didnt misunderstand you. My husband and I were told the first time we visited the store there to "not bring our ca politics here".;) And if you yourself are a transplant, it shouldnt be an issue if more people from Ca are moving to your transplant state. The lady did not help me and my partner (only POC in the store) while helping and being at service to white folks. She was extremely condescending and patronizing when I did ask for help, and when I decided not to purchase any oils due to her crappy service, she said to me, "Oh, so you're just not gonna buy anything?" I've been going to this shop on and off, mostly for emergency purposes only. The shop is way overpriced for the Amazon items for sale in this shop. I'll just say that an item worth $30 is marked up to upwards of $100. The shopping experience is as though you're deemed a thief/shoplifter the moment you walk through the business doors. The employee (what I assume was the owner) kept asking me every minute if I needed help finding anything, and if I replied with a "yes", they acted as if I was an idiot for not knowing the item through and through and more of a bother for them to have to answer my questions. I am always one to support local business' but the vibration and the employees(owner?) of this shop are low. If I'm spending a load of money on a main source of my spirituality, I want it to be coming from someone that appreciates their customers/clientele. Awful energy! I am a high priestess/psychic and I like to go to different places for my crystals. The 1st time I ever went here I was immediately turned off as the owner was following people around and yelling at them for taking pictures. I swore I would never go back into that thick nasty energy again ... Fast forward a couple years later and I went back in there today to look for a gift thinking I'd give it another chance. I found most of their stuff is way overpriced compared to some of the other places I've been and i mentioned that to my friend. As i left i thanked the saleswoman and then the saleswoman said "have fun and good luck at sticks and stones" and gave me a dirty look. Vegas Crystal Healings is a very unique place in all of Las Vegas. The owner goes to conferences and hand picks each and every stone you find in there. So every stone is a quality stone. She's paid attention to what makes a stone unique and picks out great pieces. The prices are varied - but I'd say it's a little more than I usually like to pay for stones. But if you're going for quality - this store has some GREAT selections. She also has a whole line of oils that she'll happily let you sample. She has those water bottles with different gemstones that seem to be very popular with yoga studios. I tried it and it seemed nice but I can't swear by it or anything. We traveled across the city just to see her new shop and it is definitely worth your time to go and see.
