Alan & his team are the best in the Valley! They came through for me when I moved after selling my home last year. Six months later, when my wife & I purchased a home together, we needed to move again & I couldn't remember the info. I called many companies, but no one came close to Alan's calculations or care. It seems they are just moving companies treating your pool table as a regular piece of furniture rather than the special unique item it is. Alan's team has their own vehicle & understand the care that goes into disassembly & the reassembly of pool tables. Not only is he reasonable with pricing, he's very accommodating with scheduling. This "company" isn't even a real company. Their website claims "licensed and insured" but there's no record of Vegas Pool Table Movers in the state business registry on silverflume. I highly doubt they even have a business license. I should have checked that before we hired them to disassemble a pool table, move it to storage and then reassemble the table a week later while work was being done at the house. When we first contacted him he gave a price that included what we asked, disassembly and moving the table to storage, we would move the table back to the house and then his guys would re-assemble but after the reassembly his guys demanded another payment and began harassing anyone that was near them, to include a teenage boy that let them in to assemble the table. I agreed to pay them their surprise second invoice in order to resolve the issue and move on. I mailed him a check and now he is claiming that he never received the 2nd payment. They damaged the table and when we asked about the damaged felt they ignore the issue and don't address it. This "company" is a scam at best. Alan R, the owner, simply picks up two guys from Home Depot sends them to your address and has them move your pool table then adds second invoices and surprise charges after the work is completed. This company is TRASH! I hired them to move my parents' pool table, and the experience was a complete disaster. They showed up late, were unprofessional, and communication was almost impossible. On top of that, they handled the table carelessly and didn't seem to know what they were doing. My parents I ended up having to call another company to move it instead. We had a good experience with this company! We have a pool table that we moved to put in new floor. We knew we would probably have to get it re-leveled which was the case. We called on a Thursday and they were able to come on that Saturday which was nice. We had them re-level our table and refelt it at the same time. They were very efficient and explained their process. They can with the color I requested but also showed me a few more. We also had a side piece that have come off. I had a pleasant interaction with Alan a few times via call and text and I hired his crew to move a very big, very heavy Murrey Designer 2000 billiard table. This table needed transportation from 89117 to 89012 (across town) and I needed it to go upstairs in my loft area. He sent two guys to do this disassemble/reassemble job. I was certain it wasn't enough guys to properly move this giant table but Victor and his assistant (didn't catch his name) did a phenomenal job! They were very friendly and professional and very cautious not to damage my walls or existing furniture. Alan's price was affordable and fair and his crew was available for the booking within a couple of days. Other movers I called for quotes were either more expensive or similar priced but were more than a week out for appointments. I called to get a quote to move a pool table. The representative was driving during this conversation. At the end of it I thought I had booked this service, but thought it was weird that I wasn't asked for a deposit. I called the day before to confirm, and there was no confirmation. He barely remembered having the conversation with me. When his memory came to ( as I had given him very specific details of our conversation date/time etc) He then got upset and told me I never text him to confirm. Had I been given these directions it would have happened. The representative was extremely rude, raised his voice on the phone and was very condescending. Before purchasing my table the owner helped me over the phone by going over what I should look for when inspecting the table. I'm one that likes to learn about new things and the owner taught me all about the proper way to move a table and put it back together. Alan Rivlin the owner was very nice when we spoke about picking up and delivering a pool table from my neighbor. That was the end of his civility. He arrived at my neighbors and then called advising that he had a problem because it was one piece and not three piece slate and two heavy to move to my upstairs game room with the crew he had. Understandable - so he says he has to find a crew to move it upstairs & call us back. He never called that day but we later find out he picked up the table anyway because my neighbor was moving and wanted it out. First of all his contract was with me not my neighbor. When we called him the next day he then said he'd drop it in our garage but couldn't take it upstairs and it would cost more money. He yelled at us and hung up. Later he refused to answer all my calls til I called from a different number. Then he said the table and accessories were his and he didn't have to bring them! He screamed and told me he didn't have to do anything! After my sending a lengthy text msg detailing my law enforcement background and legal remedies I'd seek he texted agreeing to deliver the table and saying he wanted cash on delivery after taking my personal credit card info! Due to this extortion I had no choice but to pay full cash price for a service that was horrible if I wanted my pool table. I absolutely loved the service received by this company. I called a few people that were advertising but went with this company for several reasons. First, they could prove they were licensed and insured. A few people said they were but when I asked for the documentation it wasn't produced. Second, I know what products good movers use and they use it. I'm not a novice player and some of the other guys tried to tell me it was acceptable to use automotive bondo to seam the slate - Nope.
