He said the work was done he just needed to put it back together. I got there to pick it up just as he was finishing. It started right up and sounded normal to me. I was ready to pay and go. Jay apologized but it just wasn't good enough for him. He wanted to keep it another couple of days to change the size jets in the newly installed carburetor. I've now had my bike back for a little over a week and it's running better than ever. It's 18 years old and since I got it 5 years ago it had a little backfire. I took in my 2013 Road King because it was leaking fuel. He knew exactly what the problem was immediately, and explained what needed to be done. His price was very fair, and was able to get the repairs done quickly. When I pulled up to his business, he was cleaning the spokes on the wheels to a chrome shine. I will certainly bring my bike back to him for any repairs. He knows what he's doing and he's very good.

I got quotes from $450 to "we'll see" but there hourly rates were $150 per hour. Once I got around to calling Sam's Cycle they quoted me $300 to $400 so I asked if they had ever done these on a Harley Softail Deluxe and they said sure. I asked how long it would take and they said anywhere from 3 to 5 hours. So obviously I set up an appointment for the following morning. They said it would be done by close of business. Awesome right? This was Tuesday morning. I waited for the call to pick up the bike. Tuesday went by, Wednesday went by and Thursday morning went by! So I decided to call them Thursday afternoon. They said it was almost finished and how difficult it was to do. A lot of excuses. Right? So I asked what the total bill was and they said $763.29!!! I didn't say anything, we just went to pick it up. When we got there I (obviously) asked why it took WAY longer than 3 to 5 hrs and WHY the bill was so high. They gave many more excuses saying the hardware was wrong and the mechanic had to go to the store to get ones that fit and they had to drill (which I told them from the start) and a bunch of other excuses. I was obviously angry, I asked about a Veterans discount. They didn't offer one. And if I didn't pay they would keep the motorcycle until I either paid or they would sell it for the bill! VERY unprofessional!! I will NEVER go back!!! I gave 2 stars because they did do a fantastic job.

I dropped a scooter off for my employer the Owner of IHEARTRAVES , and it was ready for pickup the next day. Both the drop off and the call back went well. But I had a personal emergency with a friend having to be taken to the ER and I had to take two personal days . It was my fault that I did not follow up making sure someone else picked up the scooter. I WANT the Owners to know that I did not have their number programmed into my phone , and as a professional Corporate Assistant I get a lot of calls that I must screen or I'd get no work done . IF anyone there had simply left me one single TEXT in 10 days I would have known that I needed to fetch the scooter . I appreciate you lowering the exorbitant and excessive storage fee , but the whole experience really upset me. If I were you I'd get better communications with your clients , and if "Everyone leaves their Junk" as you stated maybe you should get a better system of dropping off and picking up . I'm only bothering to tell you so that maybe you'd be Happier . I did not mean to as you stated " You made me wait so long , now you can wait". It's confusing how you can't imagine that I intended on picking it up the next day if I wasn't at the hospital for that day and the next two !
