This place is really lovely inside. Very cute. My wife loves the wall. I loved the table menu. We found this restaurant on TikTok as one of the best places to eat in Atlantic City. They did not disappoint. Our waitress was extremely friendly. The new owner was present and very involved. My wife created a dish like a potato hash. I had the mascarpone French toast, which was good. My small critique would be that the mascarpone was thicker. Maybe the heat from the French toast loosens it. But the flavor was there. I felt bad because the waitress thought I didn't like it. After all, I don't eat much. But it was good, and I get full fast due to my medicine. And that Macha drink was excellent. Best Macha I ever had.

What a cute place with delicious food and friendly, attentive staff. We shared the Orale Benedict which is a spicy version of eggs Benedict. We ordered without the chorizo and the server suggested we replace with steamed spinach. It was delicious. The dish is served with potatoes. It was enough for two people!

One of the better breakfast spots in Margate. I really really enjoyed the eggs Benedict. The couple next to me had French toast which they also said was delicious. I want go back for the banana crêpe with Nutella. Service was fast, and the menu was very affordable.

Velo Cafe was a standout, small cafe experience. When we arrived around noon, the place was popping with customers, yet the wait was only five minutes and the service was exceptional. They got us seated relatively quickly at a nice and shaded table, and they offered a water bowl for our dog with ice, being a hot summer day. We had one waitress, but several additional staff members were flowing around the outdoors, all making conversation and helping with the orders. It was an impressive flow! The only reason I am reluctantly giving four instead of five stars was the food. While the sides (potatoes, fresh fruit, sausages) and presentation were great, the entrees themselves were a bit lackluster. The cheesesteak omelet was very bland, being heavy on the provolone cheese and very low on the meat and peppers. My partner's order was also reportedly good, but not anything great. It's possible that we came on a bad day, with the waitress mentioning that one of the chefs had to go home early, but until we revisit, which I'd like to, we'll have to wait and see. Still, definitely a worthwhile stop on any passing journey or summer beach vacation!

This is an absolutely amazing breakfast and brunch spot close to Atlantic City and Brigantine. I had the iced matcha and pistachio latte with oat milk and it was so tasty! The orale benedict was so unique and incredible with ground chorizo, perfectly poached eggs, Cajun hollandaise, and a sweet potato base. The servers were kind, attentive, and accommodating with our four month old baby. I look forward to coming back for lunch or dinner soon!

Delicious breakfast at the Jersey Shore. The cheesesteak eggs Benedict, house omelette, and avocado toast were all amazing. Service was excellent too!

We love Velo Cafe! We have bern here 5 times in 2 weeks and it never disappoints. The omelettes and eggs Benedict are awesome. Chicken panini's were fresh and delicious. Avocado toast and chicken w: waffles are a favorite. Mabel and Trinity offer outstanding service. We always leave there happy and highly recommended!!

While in Atlanta City, we decided to check out the Velo Cafe. We made last-minute reservations, so we were glad that they could fit us in. The staff we very nice and friendly as we entered the restaurant. We were seated immediately. They gave us fresh bread to start, which was delicious. My daughter decided on the Fresh Pasta Special. I don't know what was in it, but she said it was delicious. (See photo). I got the Velo Chicken. It was roasted chicken breast with onions, mushrooms, tomatoes & goat cheese. Out of 10, I give it an 8. It was very good just need more vegetables and less meat (if you can believe that). Just a big plate of meat.. We also got a seafood salad to share. It was delicious. It had Shrimp, Octopus, Arugula, Cherry tomatoes, fennel & Celery tossed in a lemon olive oil. Everything was delicious but my only complaint is I don't like gratuities added to my bill. Other than that I enjoyed my time there. I would recommend this restaurant if you're in the area.

Food is always delicious. Never hard to get a table and takeout is always quick. Definitely a nicer breakfast experience than a typical breakfast spot/diner.

We arrived a little after 10 and this place was packed. If you have to wait, you have to wait outside which is a bummer as it was cold but luckily they have a parking lot on the side. The parking lot fits about 8 cars and is tiny but it's better than nothing. We didn't have to wait long. They have a small bar area as well about 20 tables throughout the establishment. They have one of the cleanest old bathrooms I've ever been in. Our waitress was really nice and was quick to take our orders. I ordered the French toast platter which came with eggs, home fries and bacon for me. The eggs were real eggs which was a plus. The bacon was good as well. The potatoes needed some seasoning, as well as salt and pepper. They were lacking big time. Overall my meal was good. The French toast could have been bigger but for the price I get it. My wife ordered the Banana Foster French Toast which comes with a lot of bananas. Overall she liked it though. My daughter had the Meatlovers sandwich on a croissant. This sandwich was gone in less than 5 mins. She shared th same sentiments on the potatoes. Ketchup, salt and pepper are a MUST. Overall we had a good time and this will be a go to for breakfast over the expensive hotel casinos.

Well look no further than Kelsey's on Pacific Ave in Atlantic City New Jersey !!! The ambiance is so alive and bubbly, without being over the top or a distraction from your dining experience. The entire staff at Kelsey's move with awesome energy on every level. At every turn I was met with a smile, and a warm welcome. The band was taking request and kept the environment upbeat. Now let's get to the good part ? The food !!! WOW... I literally almost melted when I bit into the cornbread ( unreal how good it is ) and once I got to my salmon, over vegetable stir fry with rice... I was floored with how fresh everything was and how their season game was completely on point. ( FYI: the cabbage is so bomb ) If you're planning a trip to AC anytime soon... please put Kelsey's on your outing list and I promise you won't be disappointed !!!!

I have also visited the Atlantic City location once before without incident. However, this recent visit did not meet the standards I have come to expect. My reservation was for 7:00 p.m., and I arrived a little early. I fully expected to wait until my reservation time; however, my party of six was seated immediately. Upon arriving at our table, I noticed food stains on the tablecloth. I understand that changing tablecloths after every guest can be cumbersome, but when white tablecloths have visible stains, they should be replaced. When our waitress arrived, it was difficult to overlook the constant gum chewing, along with her less-than-welcoming demeanor. She was not rude or disrespectful, but her approach felt very matter-of-fact and lacked the level of hospitality I would expect from a restaurant of this caliber. My party was celebrating a birthday, and although we did not notify the restaurant in advance, we expected to enjoy our meal without feeling rushed. Unfortunately, shortly after our appetizers were served, four of the six entrees arrived while the remaining two guests were left waiting for theirs. I do not recall being asked whether we wanted dessert, which would have been an ideal opportunity to mention the birthday celebration and request the birthday serenade. Instead, the check appeared while dishes were still on the table. The food was excellent, as always. However, the service and overall ambiance fell short during this visit and did not reflect the quality I have experienced at this restaurant in the past.

It was some of THEE BEST soul food I have had in a long time. Too bad I forgot to take pics of the food. I ordered fried Cajun catfish, potato salad and collard greens. The Cajun catfish and potato salad are to die for, you hear me???? The collard greens were okay but were not seasoned the way I would have liked. Also, they don't serve bread with their meals. Would have loved a piece of white bread or cornbread. My 14 year old granddaughter ordered fried chicken wings and was sucking the bones. She also ordered the Mac n Cheese which she said was to die for! She, too, felt the collard greens were okay but nothing to write home about. Neither of us ate our greens. We wanted to order sweet iced tea which is usually a staple in most soul food restaurants but at 2:30pm they had already run out. Also, we wanted to eat in the dining room but they said the dining room closes at 2:00pm :-( so we got our food to go and ate in the car. Mind you, it was about 90 degrees outside but we turned the air conditioning on in the car and enjoyed our lunch. Too bad I discovered this place on the day before I left the conference because otherwise I would have been eating here everyday of the conference.

My St. Louis quarter rack was enjoyable, not fall-off-the-bone dramatic, but definitely tender enough to get the job done. The tater tots and coleslaw were decent--no complaints, no standing ovation either. Just solid sides that played their position. Hubby? He kept it simple with tequila shots--and based on his face, they did exactly what tequila is supposed to do Value for the Price About $50 for ribs and two shots isn't bad for Atlantic City, especially inside Tropicana. It feels like a fair deal for a quick bite and a little sip-sip. Cleanliness I didn't get a full tour since we did takeout, but from what I could see, the place looked clean and well put together. No red flags visually. Customer Service No issues here. The process was smooth, and everything was handled without any confusion or attitude. Wait Time & Convenience Takeout was easy and convenient--perfect for grabbing food and keeping it moving. Plus, being inside Tropicana makes it a great stop if you're already in the area hopping around. Presentation & Atmosphere From what I saw, the vibe looked nice and not overly crowded or chaotic. Definitely feels like a place you could come back to and actually sit down for a chill date night. And let's not ignore the bonus--you can step downstairs and grab a cute photo by the fountain like you planned the whole evening Red Flags or Warnings Now listen...my only issue was with the takeout containers. The boxes my food came in? The adhesive on the sides was coming loose, and I had questions. Where are we storing these boxes? Because the other containers were perfectly fine, so something wasn't adding up. Not a dealbreaker, but definitely worth noting. Just be careful with your bags. Overall: Wild Honey BBQ is a solid, no-stress option--good ribs, easy takeout, and a nice vibe if you decide to dine in next time. It's the kind of spot you can enjoy without overthinking it, especially if you're already at Tropicana. My stamp on this place is... "Something to do with your Boo"
