He spoke to my dad slowly and helped him replace the tire and valve right away, even though paul was working on another bike alone when my dad came in. My dad was not in a rush, but paul helped him repair his bike right away! My dad couldn't thank paul enough, and he kept admiring how great paul was when he got back home. Ended up leaving with a bike that functioned good as (if not slightly better) than new. I'm not even kidding! More on that later. When I had brought the bicycle into the Bicycle Clinic for the flat repair, the person I assume was the owner told me, that in addition to fixing the flat, for safety he will have to ensure that the bicycle will be safe to ride. The service may come off as a little bit gruff/to-the-point, but don't let that detract you. I'd take slightly gruff service any day over falling off my bike due to mechanical failure whilst in traffic. I went in with a flat tire, and I left a couple days and 50 bucks later with a smoothly functioning bike. Better than new explanation: When I bought the bike new many years ago it worked great, however the 1-2-3 shifter was a little bit too tight. When I had gotten the bike tuned up (elsewhere) a couple times, this was never addressed. No big deal, I didn't mention it, and just kept the shifter a little shy of the second gear or third gear. When I collected my bike from the Bicycle Clinic, the gears finally worked as they're supposed to! This was in addition to things like tightening the brakes, oiling the chain, and I'm sure another little bit of PMCS (Preventative Maintenance Checks and Services). The owner gave me a little guidance of how to keep the bike running in tip-top shape, and when I was mounting it to my car, ran out and gave me a suggestion on how to attach it to prevent drive-train damage. Overall, a great experience, and a great value considering the scope of work and a cost of $50. Absolutely would use Bicycle Clinic again for all my bike repair and PMCS needs.

I think it's cool REI is a coop brand. Member owned. They have plenty of sales going on, bicycles standard and electronic assisted, survival gear, clothing from all sorts of brands, boots and hiking gear, camping gear, lanterns, knives, paddles, water shoes, and also have deals on traded in gear. Nice experience. Love walking around and looking at stuff i probably don't need but it's a cool tool or utility purposed item.

This is an incredible store to visit if you're looking for outdoor needs! I was surprised to see that they offer Vuori clothing here. I thought that Vuori only sold at their own stores, so it was a pleasant surprise to see on their second floor! I was very intrigued by their electric bikes that were on display on the first floor, by their shoe selection. Cannot lie, was very tempted to get one just because they looked cool! Of course, have to do some research first haha. The vibe was very similar to an LL Bean store, I loved it! I wasn't ready to move on from it yet.. It's like a brand new bike! I did not purchase my bike from them, it was a gift from a family member years ago, but you could tell Doug new what issues it may have had just from seeing it first thing. They got be back riding very quick and under a week. Process for booking an appointment was safe and easy. I think prices are very reasonable considering all the labor that must be involved. I appreciate it you guys! I will definitely be coming here for all my bike needs now.

He was very knowledgeable on the parts and did a thorough job describing everything as part of the free inspection and quote. The higher end tuning service was a bit on the pricer side but it took care a lot of the major maintenance items so I think it was worth it. It took about 2 weeks for the parts to arrive and for the service to be completed. Bike was operating like new when I got it back.

Landry's of Braintree is a Specialized dealer and has given me a slow run-around about getting Specialized to honor their warrantee. The control wire attached to the handlebars broke and it's been weeks since I have heard from Ian or Mike the manager about fixing it. We're talking about a $7,000 bike here and a very small fix. I'd would suggest another dealer like The Bike Barn in Whitman to service your ebike.
