Contacted Glass on the Go after my insurance put them down as one of the options to go to, and Dustin and Joe were very prompt in communication and let me know exactly when they were coming and where to setup. Clear communication is always appreciated so I could set up the car for the right location because I live on a hill and we needed a flat surface (which we found next door at a parking lot near my house). They did a meticulous job of getting the right balance and removing the window as well as letting me know how long it would take, what conditions to not wash the car or move it after, and also helped get OEM parts and recalibrate the window perfectly. Cost was a positive as they worked with the insurance company - llaison (A+ Auto Glass) to get this covered under insurance. I even asked for a little adjustment and they came right away immediately and even showed me how to do it myself. Something strange went on here. The Glass on the Go guy made the appointment with me for a windshield replacement. But then he ghosted me. I didn't hear anything from anybody until the day of the appointment, when two guys showed up in my driveway. They introduced themselves by first name, did the work, and only after it was done did I find out that they weren't the same company at all. Some other company with a name in Spanish that (after googling I found out) translates to "I don't give a s***" or "f*** off." That company was not listed on any search or review sites. And now the insurance company might have some problems on the glass claim. This also makes me think they're not gonna stand by the work if any problems come up, and probably didn't use the best glass quality either. You might wanna think twice before dealing with GOTG. Or else, get your car serviced by two randoms and get no insurance coverage. read more

My wife made arrangements to get my wind shield fixed, the first time they were supposed to come they didn't show up and I had to call them to find out the glass they ordered was scratched. I was told they would come by over the weekend, I had to call them and they wanted to come Friday coming up. So I called someone else that was willing to do the job that Monday. Friday came around with no call no confirmation or anything they decided to show up at my house in the morning. And left me a note on my window that my child found " they fucked up your install thanks" Now they decided to block my phone calls which now only goes straight to voice mail. Very professional. So you came to my house and took pictures on my car and windshield? Who does that? Came in with 3 vehicles, 2 for windshield replacements and 1 for an installment. New windshields went in fine except for the installment of the back glass on my 71 Chevelle. During the installment at some point the paint was scratched down to the primer on the car right above the rear windshield. They told me that they scratched it after the installation but didn't include any discount or offer to get it repaired. Any professional business would make things right if any fault came up on their end, unfortunately this wasn't my experience and I will not be returning here. read more

Called several places to get quotes for the cracked windshield of my Mazda 3. Joe was great on the phone answering my questions, giving a quote, and scheduling as soon as possible. Called 5 places and Glass on the Go had the best price and best customer service on the phone. Chris and team at Glass On The Go are fantastic. I had two vehicles that needed windshield replacements. Called earlier in the week and they were able to come out and install on both cars that weekend. What was super cool was that I hung around asking a ton of questions (annoying car owner, right?) about how installs were done, watching every step of the process. Chris was awesome in coming quickly after Safelite dropped the ball and cancelled on me the morning of my appointment. I called Chris in the morning and he promptly picked up. He arranged to come out the next day after I called my insurance company to open up another type of claim that will take a third party auto vender that isn't Safelite. They were running a tad late but they called me around 9:45am letting me know well in advance that they are going to be a little bit late, which is completely ok with me. They came, and in under an hour, finish the job of replacing my cracked windshield and told me not to put it in the car wash for two days, and let me know to take the tape off the windshield in a half hour. Overall, the experience I got was second to none. $325 to replace the windshield, Safelite quoted $584, so if you don't have insurance, these are the people to go to, they are much cheaper and they will come out and not cancel on you at the last moment. My rear driver side window got smashed on a Thursday night while having dinner with family. I texted Glass on the Go the next morning, got a response within 2 mins and they said they could come out the following morning (Saturday) and get it done. Within about 36 hrs, I was able to get my window replaced and fixed. The two gentlemen that came over were fast, courteous, professional and did very clean work. They gave me a courtesy call to let me know they were on the way and they also fixed a chip on my windshield that has been bugging me for a while. They came out to where I was working and replaced my windshield for $129. It took them fifteen minutes and it looks great. They are doing a lot of roadwork around Davis. Early one morning I had slowed down for construction when a van raced by at 80 mph and threw a rock up into my windshield cracking it. I checked a couple of auto glass places and they both wanted over $300. Then some guy approached me at home depot in Concord and told me he could do it for $129 and I said "hell yes". Well, let's see... Chris is the best! Check out my reviews and you'll see I'm pretty fair but also pretty tough so a 5-star doesn't come easy for me. Chris replaced the windshield on my X5 a few month's back and did a perfect job. No leaks and nice and clean with no dirt or glue anywhere it shouldn't be. After an issue with my rain sensor, Chris replaced the windshield again at no charge and I was amazed. I'll be using him again many times over and happy to recommend him to anyone. read more

I found these guys through Yelp after finding a growing crack in my windshield. They responded fast and efficiently. Everything - from setting the appointment to the install itself - was as smooth as can be. Chris and his assistant were courteous, professional, and quick. They came out to my workplace and replaced the glass in 50 minutes. However, their supplier gave them a glass with an in-glass rear view mirror mounting, so they'll have to come back in a few days to re-install. Still, I couldn't be happier with their service. The cost for all that? $185 (an absolute steal compared to Safelite AND considering that I have a rare D2 Audi A8L windshield). I'm not sure what the tipping protocol is, but I gave them a generous tip on top of that. read more

I highly recommend these guys!! After a vacation road trip to Disneyland my Mini Cooper got a crack in windshield. BMW wanted $1,700!! I called around getting estimates and these guys were the most affordable and they could come on my day off. They showed up on time, saved the moldings which would have cost me an additional $88 each, and did an amazing job replacing my windshield! With tip my total cost was only $250!
