The parking lot has become an impromptu area for the food trucks Nimble Coffee and Pedro's South American Food. As we came around 10:30 am we opted for the "brunch" experience. It was delicious and welcome breath of fresh air to the consistency of cooking at home. What did we eat you say, we had breakfast sandwiches! Both with a fried egg but each layered with a whole set of different flavors. They actually had about 4 or so options and we went for a savory sweet option and my favorite the rosemary cheese option. Bread was soft and toasty, and the egg and cheese concoction was divine. We also had a couple cold brews and walked over to Gordon park to sit in the sun and enjoy some out of the house time. Nimble's setup is perfect and prices are reasonable! Service was spot on and virtually touch free. It was an easy in and out with a small part of human interaction. The Nimble truck is about as solid a food truck as one could find, and they do a bang-up job pushing the goods out. I'd go back again if they ever setup shop our neighborhood.

When I finally found Lisa, I knew she was going to be a great addition to our day when she offered to make a custom latte flavor for us. She also set up the coffee truck on a Saturday in Milwaukee for us to test out some of the custom flavor options. We landed on a caramel hazelnut latte and named it after our cat. The Stella Latte had great flavor and wasn't too sweet. I got a ton of compliments on how good the coffee was, and how fun it was having the truck at the wedding. Lisa was so nice, and her coffee truck was a great addition to our day.

A little heavy on the foam maybe, but the coffee was really good. Had a couple of donuts which were very fresh and tasted great, too. The server was super nice and had the drinks out fast. The place is cute. Eclectic odds and ends are hanging around everywhere and the music was good. Liked it well enough to pick up a t-shirt too :-) Looking forward to our next visit!

There is a little free library and boardgames you can play while you enjoy your coffee or sandwich. They use Anodyne beans for their coffee and they make simple, fresh sandwiches. I went with the Trike - Deli style chicken, pepper jack cheese, with a spicy aioli chipotle sauce on a ciabatta bun. Simple and delicious. Service was good as well. A nice homey cafe where you can post up and work, catch up with a friend or come alone and cozy up with a book for awhile.

I also really appreciate the ability to order ahead for pickup to avoid wait times. I have tried many different bagel combos and love a good everything bagel with the green onion cream cheese! We took our food to go since it was chilly, but there are tables if you want to hang out. Everyone is super friendly, they're working hard and getting food out quickly, and the bagels and breakfast sandwiches are fantastic. Totally worth a little drive from the 'burbs.
