I recently moved to Sherman Oaks and tried this salon in the interim period it was opened between the Covid-19 mandated closures. The first time I walked in Courtney was very friendly and accommodating. The salon was anxious to open back up and had followed all of the newly enforced Covid-19 regulations. I felt safe and secure with the measures they had taken regarding Covid. Not to mention the nails that Courtney and Helen gave me were amazing. They both went out of their way to make my nail experience the best. I also happened to be there on the last day open of the second round of Covid mandated closures. Courtney remembered me and that I had mentioned my birthday was in a couple of days. She and Helen made sure my nails looked extra special and that I felt pampered. And as always my nails rocked. I like my nails short and clean, and they listened and made sure that's what I got. I would recommend this place with flying colors. read more

Hello. Rachel deserves a review. A little about me: I am picky. I stopped getting my nails done because I had bad sets put on. I nearly canceled out of anxiety as I pulled up and let me tell you, I am glad I did not. All my thoughts in my head were wrong. Rachel was able to help me first deciding between my options. We decided on the color over time. Again, it's been awhile since I had to pick a gel color and live with it. I was able to communicate my likes with words like class, and clean and pink or white (but not if you can see the lines) and by the time she was ready to paint the color she went over and picked one. Good at doing nails but there was an issue with appointment scheduling and one of the ladies I think the manager got upset at us over the phone and my friends and I went in there. immediately we knew that all of the employees knew what happened because we got dirty looks. While they were doing our nails they spoke in a different language that we didn't know right in front of our faces and they sounded angry. I think it was pretty rude. read more

The few times that I was traveling and had to try different salons, oh how I missed this place. Once you get used to this level of service there is never a go back. I went here because I needed quick service. Which is what I got, I've been going here off and on for over a year. I got a pedicure and my toe nails were cut so low it looks as if I bit them off out of anxiety. Then my nails are boxy and look too thick after I asked to have them thinner. And it never fails they never fill your nails to the top so that you come back more often. I always go to Lily but I am officially done. They rush through and try to skip to the next customer and give half hearted service as if they're doing you a favor. And all the pretensions old hags and soccer moms with liver spots in mini skirts and kitten heels trying to throw shade is exhausting. Never ever going back. read more

After reading some 5 stars and 2 and 1 star reviews, I am going to review this nail salon based on my OWN EXPERIENCE!! I understand everyone is entitled to their own opinions based on what they have experienced on their visit/s. On 5/11/2018 I happened to be in the area across the street having lunch with a friend. After my lunch was over, I really needed to get a manicure. I have noticed Bella nail salon and walked over there. I was told there is a 15 minute wait (w/out turning her back to look at me) so I told them that I will wait. That was the longest 15 min. of my life. After nearly 40 minute wait this lady with no smile, no greeting, told me to have a seat towards the back. The lady name Courtney comes with no smile, no greeting, no eye contact and starts to work on my nails. So I thought let me break the ice by talking to her, and it was just pointless and worthless. They made me feel so un welcomed, especially as a new customer. I have noticed with people that they know for a long time, they were all very friendly and did a good job, based on their face reactions. I told Courtney to cut my cuticles very short, she snapped at me by saying don't worry, i will when she didn't. Asked her if she could do the 3rd coat of polish since i had a light color in my hand, and she said NO. Whatever I told her she was not focused nor was she paying attention to what I was telling her to do... which were simple things. Long story short, poor customer service, bad manicure, talking in there own language after every word I said to her, and you know that they are talking about you in front of you and that is not only rude, but unprofessional. If I wasn't in the area I do have my to go place in Studio City....where I live, but since I was in that area and it was getting late, I decided to give this salon a shot. Will NOT be returning! One last thing, they rush you, give you anxiety, and she had a phone call, without excusing herself, she went picked up the phone and talked for like 3 minutes, returned back to me w/out apologizing. I truly had much better experiences in different nail salons NOT only in my area, but other places too. read more

I went to this salone many times before, but only for gel manicure. This time I needed refill for the acrilic nails I did in the salone next to my job. I walked in and was greeted and assigned to Rachel. She pointed that some of my acrilic nails are lifted and she will need to remove most of the material from my nail. She was very concentrated, accurate and took her time to make everything right. After I saw the end result, I realised what a huge difference is between Rachel's job and that other salon. My nails look like an ad for a nail polish or something.... I am very happy with the results and will come back to Rachel soon. read more

Went to this salon for the second time today. My first time I had a gentleman do my nails and I was very happy with the result. This time not so much. I asked for French, not pink and white. I also mentioned to the woman doing my nails that I felt the line was too thin and she didn't offer to redo them. She said she assumed I liked them thin because of the old gel on my nails which I had cut and filed down before this appointment. I'm used to the technician asking about the size of the line and if it's not to ones liking they will adjust. That didn't happen today which is why I'm leaving such a low review. There's limits to how disgruntled one can be. If you choose to work at a nail salon, it's a service industry and they should at the very least smile and greet their customers. Not impressed. Over priced. Just got my nails and toes done this passed weekend and the gel on my acrylic nails has peeled off of 2 nails. That almost never happens to me unless I've had them on for a while. It's been 3 days. Also could be because he did 3 coats of gel.. either way it's a bummer. My nails were at least cute before the gel came off but my toes were very very messy and the nails were rigid like she didn't file them properly. When i got home i had to fix them. She eloquently juggled me and another customer that made an appt because my service ran 10m past what we expected, since I wanted a new shape for my acrylics. All time favorite nail salon, ESPECIALLY if you like gel nails. I always do gel on my nails and regular polish on my feet. Manicures- My gel never chip. They don't get it on my cuticles. They cover the ends so the polish doesn't pop up. They will do whatever weird trend I'm onto. Pedicures- They don't get it on my cuticles! Which is huuuge cause that's my least favorite everrrr. The callus remover is the actual callus removing tool, not just a gel and a scrubber. The rotating drill- esque tool. Finally they are polite and always take walk-ins! read more

They had me waiting for an hour at the Pedi chair that I think for them was ok as I had a chair and when I finally had someone start with my Mani she was in a hurry and I don't mind fast but do it right! I had eyelash extensions put on and David dropped glue all over my head. My hair fell out with the chemicals he gave me to remove the glue. I have left messages for the owner or manager to call me. They tell me she will be in the next day. I call the next day and she is on vacation. They can't fix this only time will help as some hair came out at the root. Mindy did a fabulous job on my nails this Saturday morning, I came in and was hoping to get gels with extensions as I'm trying to move away from acrylics but she went over all the options with me and Pink & Whites were the only option that would give me the length I wanted, she was fast and they look GREAT! I used to come here when it was Pink N White. It's been hard to find good places to get your nails done the way you want them. And when they changed I decided to keep going. Why not, right? I think I've had my nails done by everyone in that salon and the only person I want to trust with my acrylics is Rachel. I like my nails short and with acrylics that's not always the best idea because they can break easier with not enough extra nail at the tip. Well, when Rachel does them, they never break. She's amazing and really sweet and she knows what's she's doing. Lily doesn't do a bad job either. Shes really quick though, so I feel like it's almost rushed to move on to the next person. Not really listening carefully to what you want. But if you're not picky, she's good. I had an older woman do them once and about 6 of my nails broke in two days. I was so upset I ended up chewing them off because they were so bad. I couldn't take it. And her manicures. She nicked my cuticles three times in one sitting. They swelled for the next two days after. Everything I touched put pressure and made them sore. She obviously felt really bad, but if you keep doing it, don't you think you should pay more attention? So Rachel is my girl. I'll never have someone else do them again. And she's almost always busy, so make an appointment. It's the smarter choice. read more

This review is based solely on my girl Vivi! I have been seeing her and only her for around 2 years now for all my nail needs. I even followed her when she moved salons! Seriously, she does the best job! I usually get gel manicures and they are perfect every time. She makes sure to get in every corner and smooths every bump. I typically just get a solid color, but she's always down for a crazy design if I'm feeling adventurous. My gels can last anywhere from 3-5 weeks when she does them! They grow out of course, but usually don't chip or peel. On top of it, she's the nicest girl and super funny! Highly recommended. The salon itself is basic, nothing special. Worst nail salon you can EVER step in. My gel chipped off after 2 days, when I went back she fixed it for me with the worssst attitude and the color she applied is about 2 shades darker!!! When I go back again to show that other nails have chipped and the color is different she ( the owner)starts shouting at me !
