Venchi was cool; nothing wild to brag about. The chocolate was good, the vibe was decent, but it didn't give that "wow, I need to come back tomorrow" energy. Definitely not bad; just not memorable. A sweet stop if you're nearby, but not a destination. Live, love and laugh - SHA

Who doesn't love a quick sweet treat? Venchi has established itself as a go to Italian chocolate institution in the heart of New York City. I love their expansive truffle collection and their gelato is a special treat. I went for the kid size cup with the hazelnuts and chocolate spread and a scoop of the hazelnut chocolate gelato. As much as I love the flavors and concept here, I feel both the gelato and the chocolate spread they smear on the inside of the cups is just a little too sweet for my liking. I would love if they dialed down the sweetness just a little bit. I was able to sample the truffles at the store and they were delicious!

Oh my goodness, can I give this place 1 million stars. This is one of the most amazing shops I've ever walked into only because I love chocolate. I love ice cream I love homemade waffle cones, and I love homemade crêpes. This place has it all. I tried three of their gelato flavors.. the pistachio, chocolate hazelnut and Parmesan cheese. You did not read the last one wrong. The cheese was my favorite flavor bite. I also got a home made waffle cone. It was still warm and they added chocolate caviar to it! So delicious. I bought a 100% cocoa chocolate bar and it came in the most colorful bag. Definitely coming back and trying more! Great service. Casual. Please come and create your own experience.

A little gelato and chocolate shop. They have waffle cones or small cups. Lots of chocolate on the walls - multiple dark levels, a lot of variations on nuts (4 different hazelnut types)and they ran out of some version of the gelato (would take about 15min to get a new tray ready). You can try as many of the styles as you like - they have Italian names/words, but the translations below that on the card. The back has seating, but the tables are dirty. The walls remind you of Charlie & the Chocolate Factory with a liquid rolling down the wall that looks sort of like liquid chocolate but I'm guessing isn't (the aroma in the air isn't close to the richness I've been surrounded with in a good chocolate-making shop). Gelato was ok, but I've had better (miss Grom) but it's popular as the weather gets warm!

My wife visited Rome and returned home raving about venchi. As we were in the city we happened upon this venchi which to me has the coolest ambiance out of them all.we enjoyed our dessert and took some treats to go !

Ice cream itself was pretty good, but on the more expensive end. Pretty much everything costs extra. Service was relatively quick. Inside, they have a corner flanked by a decorative chocolate waterfall thing on both sides that's pretty cool.

My friend and I stopped here on a whim because why not? I love gelato, and without being dramatic, this place has the best gelato I've ever tasted. Highly recommended; the flavors are so rich and have so much depth to them. The interior of this gelato parlor is so luxe! There is seating if you walk further inside.

Tasty gelato! I got the coffee gelato. I would say there are probably better places but this one is convenient.

After visiting the Union Square farmers market, we walked past Venchi and decided to stop in and I'm so glad we did! The waffle cone was absolutely amazing, and the ice cream was rich, creamy, and delicious. The staff was very nice, and the shop itself is beautiful inside, with both indoor and outdoor seating. It is a bit pricey, but definitely worth it for the experience and quality.

A day well spent is a day that ends on a sweet note . Walking along aimlessly in the streets of New York , particularly around the holiday season , leaves you feeling energized and rejuvenated . It was one such day ,day after Christmas , that we ventured to the city to see few places and have a good meal. The best part of the day was walking into Venchi . I was enamored by the everything. Starting from the welcoming ambiance with bright lights , wall display of all their chocolate flavors , the sweet treats , instant waffle making, the colorful array of Gelato the dripping chocolate along the inner walls , the list goes on . We stopped to take in all of it and sampled a few gelato flavors . Nailed down tiramisu and chocolate hazelnut as our picks for the day . Took our gelato cups and sat down in the cozy seating in the back of the store and savored every spoonful of our gelato . Soft creamy no overpowering flavors , perfectly sweet, the required coffee flavors in the Tiramisu , the richness in the Chocolate combined with the hazelnut was a treat for our palette. It was divine and worth all the time we spent enjoying it. I saw many having Hot chocolate , which was tempting , but we were too full to plunge into another treat . Always keep something for the next time ! On our way out they gave us chocolate samples which was out of this world . The experience reminded us of our visit to Venchi in Italy . Truly magical and satisfying.

BEST ICE CREAM EVER, I cannot get over how amazing the ice cream flavor and quality was. Definitely on the pricer side around $10 each considering the scoops, cones, and lined with nuts add ons each added a dollar ish each but overall so so worth it. As a major dessert connoisseur, this is definitely top of my dessert list. So so worth it, new go to place.

Was quickly reminded that, TIM! YOU. ARE. NOT. 20 yrs old NO. MO!!! So that being said, I hope it's awhile before my old ass acts like that again hahah! Actually, nah! Being a dumb kid is fun! Hahahaha! So being in the city, CLEARLY I had to get my friends souvenirs! Souvenirs for my friends who arrrrre....21 and 22 years old Hahahaha! So what's the most popular souvenir no matter what (usually)? .... SHOT GLASSES! But of course-hahaha!! So I stopped in here. Word to the wise....get your shit glasses, tshirts, etc somewhere NOT located in Times Square! Why? Because you will save a ton! Did I do that tho? Nah! Why? Well because of NYE....My old ass took like 2 days to recover. So while recovering...I went absolutely nowhere lol. So the day I'm leaving, I'm running all over Times Square looking for bagels for my mom and stores to get shit glasses and keychains, magnets, and some other things. Went here and paid 2x what I would elsewhere...outside TS. Growing up in NYS and spending tons of time down in the city as a kid and as an adult... I have ALWAYS known better than to buy in TS or around there, but I was in a rush....like so many in NY lol. I legit was tho. I was more worried to find bagels than anything else. Did I get bagels? Nope. Turns out my mom would have rather had NYC crumb cake (because I told her I bought a piece every day I was there and went to bed a happy fat pig lol) and she's like "forget the bagels! There's nothing like NY crumb cake! She's absolutely right. Mental note for next time hahaha! I got my crumb cake at a deli in Queens. Not important to this review, but yeah lol This place I got the shot glasses and other things at...super cool inside. CLASSIC Times Square store. Big, flashy, busy as hell! Great store! Minus the prices you'll pay and OH! And there's an old man who works there, I'm assuming the owner....NOT a very nice man. He deals with tourists all day long..Americans and everyone else from all over the world. I get he may be burned out. That's the case tho....step aside and let a happy person run registers and the floor. Other than that, it's a great place. You definitely feel the crazy NYC vibes in there and right outside is mayhem! Step outs and look to the left and there's the TS NYE Ball, the 2020 sign. Very cool! Thanks, yelperetties! Cheers!

I had to repeat 4 times, Im just looking and had to hold on to my tshirt when he tried to take it away. I really didn't need a personal shopper to help me, I just wanted to browse. I really wanted to get a second shirt, but couldnt shop in peace.
