Horrendous! Actually so nasty inside the actual shop. Yes it's spacious and you will have seating with cool decor, but service was so slow and the ice cream was horrible

The soft serve was a bit too salty, but I really enjoyed the soft chocolate chip cookie - although it would have been better warmed up. Cute ambiance and very friendly staff!

I walk by all the time and finally stopped in for an afternoon pick me up. I got the cereal milk latte (iced). It was reasonably priced for $6. It was really yummy! Not too sweet. It came in one size and was a little smaller than I thought but I think the ratio of everything was good for the portion. You order at the counter and pick up your drink at the coffee bar in the middle area.

This is definitely a must try dessert spot for one main reason: cereal milk soft serve. It was kind of difficult for me to decide what I wanted to try, but the simplest decision came down to haven't I had, which was the cereal milk soft serve. The simplest suggestion I say is get the cereal milk soft serve with the corn flake crunch or cocoa cereal crunch. Or do what I did where I got both toppings, cookies & cream soft serve on the bottom and cereal milk on top. The best way I can describe it is literally through the name. It is like the end of when you're done eating your cereal and the milk is all sweet from the cereal. The compliment to it is the crunchy topping that I believe may even have a little salt to make it taste even better. The area is spacious as there is plenty of room to enjoy your dessert. This place even has more room than most restaurants in New York. Simple dessert shop with a variety of desserts but you must try the cereal milk soft serve at least!

Very cute interior and staff were so friendly and helpful. I didn't get very much cereal milk flavor from the soft serve, maybe more of a milk soft serve. I wish they had more cereals as toppings, but the topping the employee recommended to me was delicious. I can say I've tried it now, but this trip mainly gave me inspiration to make my own ice cream.

Such a lovely package came from a dear friend from Milk Bar! What a beautifully packaged gift box filled with sweet goodies! From cookies to cake balls to the Milk Bar Pie-every treat was more delicious than the next! Since I got this package delivered-I cannot review the ambiance and service but the car in the package has me to believe it's wonderful! Thank you for such a lovely birthday surprise!

've loved Milk Bar ever since I watched the Chef's Table episode featuring Christina Tosi -- it made me fall in love with her creativity and the whole playful vibe of Milk Bar. I'm honestly not a huge sweets girl, but I love thoughtful, fun desserts. If I'm going to indulge, I want to feel like a little kid in a candy store -- and that's exactly how Milk Bar made me feel. I got a slice of the Confetti Birthday Cake and it was perfection. Moist, nostalgic, and just pure joy. My husband ordered the Milk Bar Pie and was equally obsessed. I have the Milk Bar cookbook at home, and this visit totally reignited my excitement to try some of the recipes myself. Such a fun, happy little treat spot.

It was an easy experience to order a full cake for pickup which I appreciate -- it's also a very large cake for what you get, which was good for our large group. I can't speak to the ambience as we got the cake to-go, but it was a smooth pickup process and service was good We've had their cake before (I think a red velvet cheesecake?) and it was amazing, but their seasonal strawberry shortcake did not hit as hard unfortunately. It was a bit too sweet for me, and I wish there was more vibrancy in the jam. not bad but could have been better.

It is over-rated. The original pie was delicious everything else was just soooo sweet. I am one and done on this one.

I finally did the "Greatest Hits" run at Milk Bar, which includes the Birthday Cake slice, the Milk Bar Pie slice, a 3-pack of B'day Truffles, and a Compost Cookie. (Pro tip: don't try to be a hero and eat this all in one sitting unless you want a literal heart palpitation). I've been chipping away at it over the last two days, and it's the gift that keeps on giving. The Birthday Cake and Truffles are basically nostalgia in edible form, like the best possible version of Funfetti, but denser and way more addictive. The Milk Bar Pie is the richest thing I've ever tasted: it's salty, buttery, and gooey, so a few bites at a time is plenty. The Compost Cookie was the real MVP for balancing things out, though. The bits of potato chips and pretzels give you that salty hit you desperately need after all the cake. Overall, it's definitely a splurge, but everything keeps so well in the fridge that it's worth the haul. It's super sweet, so definitely have some water or black coffee on standby, but if you have a sweet tooth, this is basically the promised land.

We got the cereal soft serve. The dessert hit the spot and you can see why this brand has become an nyc staple. Inside it's a little dirty, but we were there a little late into the night, so that could be why. I would recommend you swing by here or any of their locations to feed your sweet tooth

My husband ordered cookies from here and had them delivered and then we went while in NYC. Unfortunately, the cookies are very average and not even worth the order or stop in. They taste like basic soft grocery store cookies. The service in store was friendly and the space was cute and clean, but I have no reason to order cookies or visit again.

Always order direct ship online and happy to finally go in person. So much more delicious FRESH! The milk bar pie is dreamy and light. We snagged a warm compost cookie fresh from the oven! Gooey marshmallow brownie special was decadent.

It felt like items weren't made with care and mass produced at a factory or something. I went 10 minutes before they closed and there was still 10+ of each dessert. I'm not convinced that they will dispose of them. Even if they do, it means they didn't do a good job in forecasting demand especially after being in business for multiple years. I ordered mango and yuzu. Both were too sweet and had one dimensional flavor and textures, not refreshing per their stated flavors. Even if their appearances take effort, they don't look pretty enough for me to forgive what goes in my mouth. I'm used to having patisseries with many layers and elements. Mango's sponge probably only took up 20% of the bottom, because I barely had bites of it. Most of my bites didn't have any. I didn't like how liquid the filling was. It didn't exactly ooze out but just melted into a puddle in my mouth. Yuzu looks pretty with the pink and yellow glaze, but it didn't go with the realistic fruit theme. I chose it for the flavor combination which is strawberry, yuzu, and guava. This was slightly better in terms of flavor variety in the mouth. The flower on top had a weird off putting flavor. The bottom crispy rice apparently is supposed to be chocolate but it came out plain. It was tasteless anyway, so not effective in terms of flavor or texture.

I had to run to work after an appointment so I ordered for takeout. The person taking my order was friendly. I opted for the Lumberjack and a black cold brew. I received the drink very quickly, with a short wait for the sandwich. While waiting, one member of the staff stocking up supplies on the side started chatting with me and then she offered to check up on my sandwich. She came out with it shortly thereafter. She was very friendly and helpful. The sandwich held up well during my 15-minute commute to the office. It is a really indulgent sandwich, with each bite revealing the sweetness and butteriness of the maple crueller, the saltiness of the thick cut bacon, and the savoriness of the cheese and the eggs as the yolks popped. I sipped the cold brew in between bites to cut the richness. It was a very satisfying meal. The Lumberjack is not something I would recommend you eat every day, but it's good as an occasional treat. In the past I've ordered lunch from Daily Provisions via delivery (the "Chefy" salad and the chicken milanese with arugula salad are my favorites), but I might start adding other breakfast sandwiches to the mix.

I will say that's it's definitely not a good on-the-go sandwich, as it falls apart easily. However, I don't think this is a great spot for coffee. I was a bit underwhelmed by my latte, which tasted more like thin drip coffee than a rich, strong espresso. I also think they could offer more sweetener options.
