I came to this place to get my nails done, I brought my own tips, my own powder, my own bond as well because I'm very picky! I asked for square and this is what she gave me. I didn't even let her finish because there's no saving this.... The acrylic is all over my skin, the glue is all under my nails. I was asked if I liked the nails and I responded with no TWICE. Another lady came to try and fix it mid pedicure on another client... I asked how much did I owe them for the work that was done that I didn't like, the lady charged me $40!! $40 for this horrible job application and set in general. I'm disappointed. Hey yelp! I feel bitter/ sweet about this place. I keep going because it's convenient and near my home but it's subpar... Me and my friends made a reservation for 1 and they didn't start working on my friends until about 1:25. Also most of the workers there are nice! Except the man Tom!!! I attached a photo of him. I believe he's owner or manager but he is not nice at all and really is terrible at doing nails. He's too fast, he's not calming, he cuts my skin EVERYtime I've had him and they never look good... it's gotten to the point that when he comes over to work on my nails I have to say "I would prefer someone else to work on me" which is awkward in itself but then he's rude about it. The best worker in there is another male who sometimes wears a earring and has his hair gelled in a slight Mohawk. I went in as a walk in for a pedicure and was greeted and told to choose my color. I took my time choosing my color but wasn't acknowledged again. After a while they had me take a seat and didn't turn on the water or anything. I waited for 25 minutes even though there was only ONE other person. I was a little annoyed about that but once they finally came over she did a good job on my toes. Their pedicure selection is nice but I got a basic one because I had already been there a while. The owner came out at the end and was pretty friendly. It was fine and I'll probably go again but if they make me wait agAin I'll probably leave lol. read more

Nina burned my face so bad removing hair that I had to go to the ER later because it was so painful. I am not kidding. I am attaching pictures. She puts it on and in 1 swipe pulls it off all at once. OMG! Her sister always did it for me before however she does little spots at a time and it wasn't painful at all. My face was swollen for days, red, painful and looked so bad I couldn't go anywhere. I read here where they did it to someone else too. My face was so swollen in one if these pictures that it will blow your mind. Then.... It peeled like a sunburn. Same day, the girl that did my pedicure was talking away the entire time, not paying attention and clipped my toe. It bled. This place is horrible. Don't go here if you value your body. They SUCK! I came in here to try their SNS nails, because I saw that their color collection was quite impressive. The convenience factor is also there for me--I live close by and they have a lot of technicians and booths, usually guaranteeing that I'll be seen by someone in less than 15 min on a weekend afternoon. I should've known from the long wait while soaking in the pedicure seat that my visit was going to be a mess. However, I decided to stick it out (to my nails' detriment!). My pedicure, $25, was standard and almost on the rough side. I could tell that the lady was eager to get me out of the seat to serve more customers. This might not even be her fault but the fault of the management. Who knows. While my SNS polish has retained its shine and color, I am extremely disappointed in the application by the technician (i don't actually know her position, but she seemed like a higher-up, telling other technicians who to do for what, managing people while working on my nails). From the mixed reviews that I already see on this page, I think it really depends on who did your nails. I suppose not everyone is as sloppy as the person who did mine, but mine ended up looking especially crusty and odd at the cuticles after a week's worth of growth. Wish this worked out--I'll be going to another salon to remove the nails and to apply another round of SNS polish. read more

Disappointed getting manicure done here today. Took her many times to clean up the edges, it dried up my skin around the nails and it still doesn't look flawless after many attempts. I went there only because it's about one mile from where I live, and I didn't feel like driving far today. Will not go back here again! So glad I have another nail spa I can count on for manicure: Lux Nail Spa by Westheimer / Gessner, a little farther away from where I live, four miles but worth the drive. spent $100 for uneven sloppy job nails & pedi. Lady suggest natural powder and I said Yes. It looks & feels very unnatural & my skins stuck with glue& feels awful. Service- they never offer anything to drink. Price- very confusing/ when they show me menu chart my nails 30 / pedi 25 + (20) shellac suppose to $75 My nail was just regular color & she said natural powder doesn't cost any extra. Somehow she charged me $90 And I give $10 tip (for my pedicure guy) not very happy both but he seems just young & not much experience. I had been going here for a while and loved it. I am very picky about my nails and how someone does my nails. I went again today and I get the same thing everywhere I go. SNS or dipping powder. Today instead of soaking it off they took it off with a fake nail. I was told by multiple other techs at other places that is the worst way to take them off because it tears the nail bed. The last 3 times I've been there each time they've torn skin and it has bled and they don't do anything. 2 times ago one of the nail techs made 5 of my fingers bleed. They filed my nails down so short. I like mine short but I like them to wear I don't look like I chew them and that's what they look like currently. I will say when they give messages they are very good. I probably won't go back unless I absolutely have to. read more

made an appt for 3:30 and was told "5 minutes" multiple times. 4 pm hit and after soaking my feet in water for 30 minutes, I asked for a towel to dry my feet so I could leave. I cant stand being lied to. the whole purpose of making an appointment is to be seen within 10 mins. if youre busy, fine, give me a realistic timeframe...dont say "OH 5 MORE MINUTES" repeatedly. also, in the middle of a Pandemic, EVERY pedicure seat was full, one lady wasn't wearing a mask and one nail tech had her mask under her nose. it is the LAW to wear a mask in businesses AND practice social distancing especially in small establishments like this one. mind blown. won't be back ever. read more

Absolutely awful. I've gotten pedicures here a couple times and they went okay. Nothing super special. But I went to get my nails done 5 days ago. On my pedicure I got burned and cut. They weren't able to do gel extensions for some reason (I legit think they didn't know how) and it took a while to get them to even understand. I ended up getting the dip powder done and I have know idea what they did wrong but I had 2 women arguing over my splotchy, uneven dipped nails. I told them it looked bad and they tried to tell me "no they're pretty" like I'd never gotten my nails done. They told me to "come back tomorrow " and they'd fix them. I work a lot and that was the first chance I'd had to get my nails done in weeks. Now I have two broken nails 5 days later. I'm very upset at their lack of skills. read more

I got a Sea Salt pedicure by Fuji, a young guy that was very detailed and took his time to make sure color looked perfect. So disappointed! I heard some compliments about this place so I dropped by when I came into town. The staff isn't very friendly. I'm very particular about the shape of my nails and I kept explaining to the nail technician how I wanted to keep the same shape just file them down shorter. She asked me once if the shape and length was okay. I said no and then told her how I wanted it because she had changed the shape. And then she had filed them down too short and completely wrecked the shape. It was so freaking ugly. I told her I didn't like them and she shrugged it off. I've never had uglier nails in my life. I've been to a lot of different nail salons in different cities but holy crap...this place is the WORST. The nail polish job didn't even last a day. Later that evening, it had already started to chip. On top of that debacle, the man who did my pedicure did such a bad job that I had to re-cut my toe nails the next day. He had not taken the time to file them correctly so my toe nails were still the same length and hurt more afterwards than before the pedicure. I started a yelp account for the sole purpose of complaining about this place. (Little did I know I already had one ha). AVOID AVOID AVOID! read more

Open 7 days a week. I recently moved to the neighborhood and have been there 4 times. This salon is outstanding. Their deluxe pedicure is wonderful. They staff appears knowledgeable and experienced - better than most nail places I've tried. Update: 1/2014 - Still going there & still pleased. The owner is wonderful! If you are in a hurry get a color change instead of a full pedicure - I think it was $10 & well worth it. I'm still very pleased with this place - still very clean & I can walk in without an appointment & rarely have to wait more than 5 minutes! read more

Came in for an eyebrow wax and got BURNED in FOUR damn spots. This was my first time here but at other shops they normally have you lay down but they had me sitting in a chair. This should have been my first red flag. When she pulled the strip off it was more painful than normal and thought she just pulled of more hair than normal. When the lady finished the owner said nope 'let me fix it' but there is no fixing scorched skin. The wax warmer is always on so they should have a thermometer to check the temperature due to fluctuations. This is a relatively nice area and should know better. Negligence is not acceptable. Received acrylic nail services on Wednesday, December 15, 2021 and paid a total of $65 + $10 tip to have nails that last two weeks on average. By Saturday, December 18, 2021 one of the thumb nails broke clean off during a simple task. I came immediately to the salon to have it fixed but they were closing and I was advised to return the next day. Sunday, December 19, 2021 I came to have the thumb fixed. A few days later on December 22, 2021, another nail broke from me simply scratching my nose lightly. I came again to have it fixed and the nail tech told me he made the nails too thin and that's why they kept breaking. He repaired the thumbs and made them thicker. Cool. The very next day, another nail broke. I called and the nail tech advised me to come in at 11am on Sunday, December 26, 2021 to have my entire set done over thicker for free. He asked for my number in case he needed to call and reschedule. No call was received. I arrived at 11am and he was nowhere to be found. At 11:30 I asked was there a manager available to process a full refund as I was tired of dealing with the salon's unprofessionalism. I was told there was no manager and maybe come back later. No one could tell me when the nail tech would arrive or how to receive a refund. So I took pictures of their business license and filed a formal complaint with the Texas Department of Licensing & Regulation. It is 11:48 as I write this and the nail tech still hadn't arrived. I've been so patient with them. Never went off until today. Doesn't help that another worker had the nerve to sweep my feet as I was already waiting for his late coworker. So rude and I don't play feet sweeping! Iykyk!!! Overall their service is shitty and they shouldn't be in business. They suck. read more

We have been going here off and on for several years, honestly as far as pedicures go, this place is the best. The massage your legs for a long time. They use fresh fruit to exfoliate, a pepperminty oil for massage and you leave there smelling wonderful! Everything a pedicure should be. Should and neck massage included. They really go the extra mile. On the nails however, it was not bad but not the best I have ever had. A little sloppy. But I will definitely continue to go there for their amazing pedicures!
