cheese basil pizza

I would give this place a 9/10. the food was very delicious and staff was amazing. the service was very good and tentative.

Perfectly medium grilled salmon salad with Lemon Citrus dressing.

I'm following up after my last visit. Venenzia is my go-to destination for an exceptional espresso martini, and after a day at Lido Beach, we made a point to stop in for a late lunch and a drink. My daughter and I shared the grilled salmon salad, which I requested to be cooked medium, and I was impressed to find it cooked to perfection - a true testament to the kitchen's skill. I went so far as to give compliments to the chef. The lemon zest dressing, served on the side, added a burst of citrus flavor that elevated the dish. My daughter, still hungry after her half of the salad, ordered a half pepperoni pizza that was cooked to perfection and thoroughly enjoyed. I only wish Venezia was closer to home, as it would undoubtedly become our regular haunt. Ambiance is always bright, clean and I love the TV's at the bar for watching sports.

Chef salad, Spicy chicken pizza, pesto pizza and prosciutto pizza

This place has been consistently good for years! Surprised it's a lower rating so I'm adding ours. We come every time we're in the area. Every pizza has been yummy and can't recommend the chef salad enough-- sooooo good! Great service and drinks too!

Great Italian place, really good pizza, service was very fast, place is spacious and clean, just wish the garlic flat bread came with sauce. Decent kids meal options, overall would definitely recommend.

Capricciosa pizza - mushrooms, artichokes, olives and ham. Added anchovies for an additional bite - oh so good!

I'm fairly certain that Venezia makes the best pizza I've ever had in my life. The restaurant never seems to be crowded, just a steady flow of eaters so the wait staff has a chance to check in and they do... the restaurant is bright, the bar is right in the middle and thy also offer outdoor seating. Ordered the Capricciosa pizza and added anchovies. Out of this world amazing. The dough, the sauce and the toppings make for an unforgettable pizza......trust me.

Grouper francese

Venezia is an absolute gem and a must-visit for anyone who loves great Italian food and a fun night out. From the moment you walk in, the atmosphere feels lively and welcoming, with a buzz that makes it perfect for both dinner and a night of drinks. The food was outstanding across the board. Really enjoyed the Cesar salad to start. The vodka sauce pasta with shrimp was rich, creamy, and perfectly balanced, easily one of the best I've had. The grouper francese was light, flavorful, and cooked just right, and the chicken parm was classic comfort food done exceptionally well--crispy, cheesy, and full of flavor. A special shoutout to Mario behind the bar, he added to the overall great experience with his friendly and professional service. He had so much personality and gave us a delicious glass of champagne! We got to meet the owner, Rafael, who truly cares about the restaurant--his attention to detail and passion really show in both the food and the atmosphere. Between the delicious Italian dishes, the fun and lively vibe, and the wonderful people, Venezia delivers an experience that makes you want to come back again and again. Highly recommended.

Had a great experience here last month. First time at this restaurant. We lucked out with a table for two outside ( inside was packed and AC too cold for me)--great people watching! We ordered white sangria , which was fruity and refreshing. For our appetizer we had smoked salmon bruschetta, an excellent pairing of smoked salmon, cream cheese on toast with a fantastic blend of olive bog and balsamic glaze. We shared the linguine del mare: mussels, clams, shrimp and calamari in a white wine broth. Decent portion and all fish properly cooked. It was light and delicious. We were still hungry (!!!) so we ordered caprese, : fresh mozzarella ( most likely homemade), basal and balsamic vinegar-- better than most due to the freshness of ingredients. Our server, Bernadette, was very attentive, friendly and offered good suggestions as we ordered. This was a great alternative to the restaurant we always visit when we go to St Armand's.;

We came here for a lunch on Saturday. Absolutely loved the food! Had stuffed mushroom, shrimp salad and linguine de mare. All food was excellent! Definitely a great lunch. Service was great as well. They played college women's basketball in the TV and we asked to show the final of women's tennis WTA 1000 and they switched, which was great to watch and eat some great food. Next time we come in we want to try pizza. Ambiance is low key, not a fancy place but very organized and inviting. Definitely recommend.

Such amazing pizza! We always come here every time we come to St Armand's Circle! The service is always amazing and I love the inside! I could pretend I'm in Italy!!!

We stopped in for lunch and were seated right away. The interior was clean and nicely kept, and the service was attentive throughout. The food was fine, though nothing particularly memorable. Everything we tried was good but did not stand out. Overall, it was a pleasant experience.

2nd try for bolognese sauce. It was 1,000% than the first try but still very watery and almost tasteless.
Doug D.

Skip this place during your Lido Key vacation. Bolognese sauce was the worst i have ever had - watery, almost like a thin soup. Chicken parm was floating in the same watery mess. Service was good - waitress tried to fix it. But even on the second try, it was a watery transparent mess. Antipasto was good. Great location. I assume because it's a tourist spot and nobody ever comes back they aren't trying all that hard.

Angel hair with vodka sauce
Kalyn M.

Good spot for Italian within the area. Really enjoy how bright it is with all of the windows - and plenty of outdoor seating. Service is always good - typically sit at the bar unless with a bigger party. Food always comes out extremely fast. The garlic herb bread is probably something I would not get again. There was not much garlic to it - was just pizza crust with some Parmesan on top. Caesar salad is good. Other go-to order is the angel hair pasta with vodka sauce - comes extremely saucey, but is more on the creamy side and not much "spice" per se. It's a great spot but not necessarily anything that will knock your socks off from a food perspective. Will still continue to go because the service is good and the vibe is good overall.

Once you see it, a large mural of an Italian pizza maker holding up NY with the Italian flag splashed in the background, you know you've arrived. We were greeted even before we reached the door and offered a choice of dining inside or outdoors. They have a large outdoor area that is shielded from the parking lot, nice, but we opted to sit inside for some a/c. Our server was right over and got us started with drinks while we looked over the menu. She was so nice, attentive, helpful, and upbeat for the entire time we were there, a real pleasure. As for the food, we decided to split their Greek Salad and a Prosciutto Arugula 12" pizza. They offer both 12 and 18" pies. This was not the pizza I would have selected, I'm more a Meat Lovers Supreme carnivore, but it was my wife's choice tonight. I thought the salad was pretty standard, lots of Feta cheese and a generous amount of dressing in a container. My wife left me all the red onion slivers, maybe not her best decision, and took almost all of the olives. The salad was still fine, lots of green. Our pizza was also brightly green, what with all the arugula on top. Like more salad. But underneath was an excellent pizza crust, like they describe on their menu with a bit of NY char. While I missed all the greasy meat, the prosciutto was very flavorful, a top of the line ingredient. A hint of truffle oil added to the mix and pieces of a hard Parmesan cheese (Parmigiano Reggiano) added more. I have to admit, it was a pretty good pizza.

The appetizer was really good but I think it could have been elevated a notch if the dip was more of a lemon base dipping sauce. The pizzas were both thin and very tasty, nice tomato base, I liked the little difference of crust (thin & crunchy) compared to your normal softer crust on an Italian wood fired pizza. I like when I'm able to have preferences on pizza crusts on any given day. I would like to go back and try something else next time to see what this little spot has to offer. Overall it was a good experience and we will try it again in the future. Food 8.0 Atmosphere 8.0 Service 9.0
