This is one of my go to restaurants. The Caesar salads are always fresh and the chicken Parmesan will always be one of my favorites. If you can get a bar seat please do so it has a nice comforting feel. I asked why we were still waiting and they were sat ahead of us and we were not texted. I was told that my whole party wasn't here and that was why. I said they are here but outside because we were told to wait. I was then told that we should have not been told there was a wait. They had no answer but just said we dont know. I love the atmosphere of this restaurant. It's beautifully decorated and the vibe is chill, but classy in my opinion. It is a good spot for date night, family time, or just with friends. On to the food, it was a while since my visit and I wanted to try a few things. I had a few appetizers including Crab Chowder, Crawfish Rolls, & Hickory Smoked Salmon Bruschetta! Everything was super delicious. The chowder was a perfect blend of ingredients and very filling. The Crawfish rolls was something I never had before and I truly enjoyed those. The sauce that comes with them adds extra goodness to them. Lastly, the Hickory Smoked Salmon Bruschetta was a delight. It's a very filling and light dish that everyone should try. Great experience. Most recently, I went in for lunch. They have their own parking lot behind the restaurant (it can get a little crowded when the place is full though). Very spread out seating inside. On a Thursday lunch, they were very full around 12:30. Got the meatballs to start to split between two. I love this app!! It comes with three meatballs and some garlic bread. Tons of salad options - I got the Walnut Grove salad that has chicken, some veggies, and goat cheese. Salads are the perfect size for lunch. This restaurant has a website to place online orders . On the website is a place for add on if you would like too . There is also a special instruction column to place any instructions you may have . We did that I'm allergic to marinara sauce so I clearly placed all allergies in the special instruction section . Got my order home and marinara was on my dish . I called and my daughter took the order back to get it made correctly . We were refused a new order and was going to be charged 25 percent . The reason given by the person that wasn't pleasant (I'm being nice ) was they can not see the special instructions on their website . So I asked why am I being penalized because your website doesn't present the full instructions ! She said that's the way it is. So here are my thoughts REMOVE the special instructions column on your site . OR inform people to call if they have allergies or special dietary needs . I tell the staff and they say they'll make me a correct pizza. I advise that my other good will be cold over that wait. I was told my other option was a refund for the pizza. No offer to remake my full Order for their mistake. Very disappointed in the staff. The pizza was ok. Just marinara and cheese, nothing special (like I ordered). My recommendation is to ask for extra Feta with the pasta because it tasted amazing with the tangyness of the pasta sauce.
