Look at the size of this dirty martini! A great pour!

Date Night!! We had a great experience. It was our first time! We have driven pass this place a thousand times and near stopped by to be honest we throught it was a front for the mafia!! lol - we really did! To drink we ordered a dirty martini & Long Island iced tea, which both were excellent choices, and the liquor was liquoring! Also, also we ordered the toasted ravioli, a small pepperoni, sausage, jalapeño pizza, and a side order of spaghetti. I don't normally order spaghetti out publicly, but this spaghetti was excellent. The flavors were flavoring. Everything was just delicious. Even the bread and butter they bought was good! Our server recommendations were very helpful with choosing our food items! I was so impressed I went back the next day with friends!!

Food was delicious. Very authentic Italian food. Blackened grouper was my favorite as well as the red sauce on the meatballs and spaghetti and ravioli. Fettuccine was also very good! Toasted ravioli was not very good. Ravioli tasted not cooked all the way through, it was an odd texture. Service was wonderful. Iced tea was very tasty. Ambiance was great. It gives old time casino/ theater vibes to me. I loved our visit and can't wait to come back.

Been coming here for years with friends and family but I just think the food needs a revamp. I can't score lower because this is a Memphis staple and I can't disrespect it like that but the food really could use some work. Our salad was floating in oil and vinegar and really shouldn't be called a salad it was basically just lettuce. Our steak was cooked medium rare and was delicious! We had mozzarella sticks which were very good as well. I wish the lighting in the room we were in was a bit dimmer as it was Valentine's Day and I wanted a more romantic atmosphere. Overall I would say there is better Italian out there but if you want to experience a piece of Memphis give it a try!

The food is consistently good. I love the spinach. The Gorgonzola stuffed celery is delicious. The wait staff is always friendly. I love the decor and the music. When I want Italian, Pete and Sam's is what I want.

So no surprises here. One of my wife and my favorites for the past almost 40 years. I'll just report on my dinner. First time ordering bacon wrapped chicken livers ( really good). Now the same meal I have had many, many times (that's all I order). Salad with thousand island dressing. Lettuce, pretty much just lettuce. The dressing, great. Thick! Small sausage Lisa. Great! Cannelloni - it's really good but today the cook was a little heavy on the salt. Really good but not the normal amazing.

The ambiance and service were both wonderful. It felt like stepping back in time the way the decor was set up. The portion sizes were large and the lasagna actually ended up being better the next day :)

    Spinach/ricotta ravioli is incredible!

We went for our Valentine's date this year! At first we were really bummed to see some changes to the menu, like them not having the antipasto appetizer anymore, but the food was absolutely phenomenal! It was was better than we ever remembered, and we can't wait to go back. I'll say the service was pretty slow, but the food really made up for it.

Service was good! I had chicken Parmesan and it was bland...no flavor. The portions were large. The appetizers were great!

The food is not why I come here. It's for the people watching. And keeping my drinks refilled. Never change Pete & Sam's.

Went with my mother and sister while we were staying nearby attending a wedding party in Bartlett. Read about Catherine and Mary's online and decided to give it a shot based on pics and reviews. As soon as we stepped inside we were warmly greeted and made to feel at home. I must say here that my sister has a small disorder such that it's hard for her to talk in complete sentences, and she has a notable stutter. This means she also experiences a great deal of social anxiety. She felt so welcomed that she hardly stuttered while we were there, and when we left she said, "This was such a good place for people like me." I loved that they made me and my mom welcome, but am doubly grateful that you went out of your way to make my sister so happy. She really felt like you treated her like an old friend. My sister has a speech problem, but she's not mentally disabled (in fact she's an electrical engineer). So the kindness was not lost on her, and I know this will be a place we'll look forward to when we visit family in the Memphis area. Thank you so much for the excellent food and the awesome vibes! We shared two of the salad platters. Then we dug into multiple pasta dishes along with the chicken and fish entrees. There's a wide variety of mixed drinks, wine and beer to choose from. On to the food...the Italian Spiced Wings were absolutely delicious packed with flavor and seasoned just right. The deviled eggs were good, although they had a little more lemon flavor than I prefer. The BBQ flatbread was definitely a favorite! It was delicious and loaded with chicken and cheese, with just the right amount of BBQ sauce. The pasta was also tasty and nicely portioned for a lunch entrée. And don't forget to ask for the complimentary bread. It's a nice little bonus! to add to the pasta dish. The atmosphere was cozy, cute, and inviting, making this spot a great option for lunch, dinner, or brunch (I think they have a special menu for that). I was wearing my "mom clothes" and we had our toddler with us. Not once did I not feel welcomed though. Our waiter was super nice, very helpful with the menu options. I wish I had gotten his name (we actually dined over 3 months ago and I'm just getting to this review!). He seemed to have been busy, but never let it affect his performance. Now on to the food. My goodness, it was delicious and I have been craving to go back. First off, I appreciate that they are a kid friendly place. I understand not every place has to be, but when a place offers something for kids, it just makes the dining experience even better for me. They were out of the kids cheese pizza, but our waiter did a cheese flatbread for my son. I mean, that alone was good, but my entree was the best! I had the basil pesto tortellini. All the flavors came together perfectly in it. Highly recommend! My husband got the bbq chicken flatbread, one of the best flatbreads we've had. Seriously! As an appetizer, we got the baked spinach dip. It had so much flavor and pairing it with those house made tortilla chips were just the extra it needed. The only thing that was disappointing was the tiramisu. We have had better. The espresso flavor just wasn't enough for my liking. We'll be back for sure! Maybe a date night for dinner.

After leaving a nearby bar, our group stopped in simply looking for food. The restaurant was virtually empty, yet the manager, Charles, insisted that if any of us sat near one another, we would be considered one large party and could only have one check. I explained that we had no problem sitting at separate tables, and each table would gladly have a single check. That should have solved the issue. Instead, Charles instructed an inexperienced and unprofessional server to scatter us throughout the restaurant and warned that if we interacted between tables, we would still be treated as one party. From a management standpoint, this decision made no sense. Rather than maximizing an opportunity to generate significant revenue, leadership chose to create unnecessary obstacles. Ironically, spreading us throughout the restaurant would have required opening multiple sections, increasing the workload on servers and support staff instead of simplifying operations. Leadership sets the tone for a business. Good managers solve problems and create positive guest experiences. They don't create barriers that send paying customers elsewhere. At the end of the day, every business has one primary objective: to generate revenue while providing excellent customer service. Unfortunately, this experience demonstrated poor judgment, inflexible leadership, and a missed opportunity to earn the business of 24 guests who simply wanted a meal. I hope Curfew reevaluates this approach because customer service, common sense, and hospitality should always work together.

Moody lighting, low rumble of noise and music you enjoy but don't notice. My kinda place. Rye was our server and she was excellent. Not only top-notch recommendations but also let us know about the tasting menu- I can't wait to come back to try the off-menu one they do the last Wednesday of every month. We got raw oysters to start and chose the seasonal preparation. It was almost like frozen lemonade crème fresh, but with the brine of the oysters it just worked. Would def order again! We started with a whiskey sour and AM old fashioned. Both great but mine was so good my husband ordered another round of them for us before we got a bottle of red. I don't recall what bottle it was but it worked perfectly as it wasn't too heavy and swung easily from apps/pasta/entrees. Then we opted into the blind tasting menu. 5 courses, chosen from the menu that you don't know what you're getting until it touches the table. My husband and I are pretty adventurous as far as food goes so it was perfect for us. No shit- Everything was amazing. I loved the tasting menu as it was not any dishes we were considering and I am so glad we got to try things we wouldn't have otherwise. For example, the little asparagus appetizer was the best thing we ate, on God. Like, what in the actual F ! The kind of magic they created with those little green veggies was out of this world --I didn't even want to swallow it was that delicious. There was some kind of fish crudo with beet and kumquat relish. Weird and so good! We also had some pasta with a lemon-y butter sauce and spinach and then a chicken entree. I was getting so full by the time entrees came I ate less than half of it but the skin was crispy, chicken was cooked to perfection and husband finished them both. Now yall, the dessert was a heavenly little pot of rich chocolate with a caramel base and crunchy honeycomb crisp on top. I was so full I couldn't finish it but my husband finished his and then mine. We also ordered a little affogato and it was perfect to finish the meal. I will absolutely be back and look forward to trying their other restaurants in the near future!!!
