This was our first time trying and can't wait to go back! Doreen was our server and she was amazing- very friendly and attentive! The food was delicious! The steaks were tender with great flavor! Perfect place for date night!

This is the place we had our rehearsal dinner 30 years ago. The atmosphere is superb. The food is excellent. Our favorite Italian place in all of Memphis.

My first experience was kind of rocky, but the server made up for it. The food however is amazing! I absolutely love their pizza as well as the calamari! This place now sees me pretty regularly on one of my off days.

I can't believe I've never been here! My family was craving Italian, and we decided to drop by for dinner. Everything was enjoyable. It's a great date night. We had the kids with us, and it was fine. They were a little impatient. What kid isn't? The food was worth the wait. I could take the other half home and enjoy it the next day. There's dim lighting, and the ambiance is romantic. Everything that we ordered looked fantastic. My dish was shrimp fra vidola, and it's a bit spicy, not much at all, just a little kick. I like everything spicy. I can't wait to come back and try more items. My girls love their toasted ravioli and manicotti.

The Italian cafe ambience is fun but best of all, the food is most excellent. If you've never tried this place and seek good Italian food, try it,. You will not be disappointed. However, this is not fast food as they cook it to order. A party of three, two of us had the horseradish encrusted salmon. An excellent choice. The third-party had chicken piccata, which was also divine. (Yes, I stole a bite!) With this meal comes a salad and a side so I chose a Caesar salad. Where they did not overload with dressing. Topped it with shaved Parmesan. The small side dish of angel hair noodles with meat sauce was wonderful as well. The chicken piccata I am told was tender, delicious and such a generous portion, half was taken home as leftovers. I found the wait staff to be very attentive, but not overly so. Overall, a wonderful evening at Brooklyn Bridge Italian restaurant. While the café experience is fun, the chair I sat in was not very comfortable. Just sayin!

Cappelini Aglio e Olio - except i subbed the angel hair for gnocchi & added chicken - chefs kiss

Service was very slow and sporadic, when ordering soft drinks they can even provide a coke. This place has certainly had better days.

The Italian bread with herbs was delicious, and every appetizer we tried -- from the cheese fritters to the calamari -- was excellent. I chose the smoked chicken ravioli for my entrée, and it was truly delectable. We finished dinner with key lime pie for dessert, and it was mmm good. Overall, the meal was fabulous. My only complaint was the air-conditioning, which felt brutally cold at times. Thankfully it wasn't on continuously, but I couldn't help wondering -- why is the AC blasting on a cold January night? Our server was excellent as well. A+!

Our waiter, Jason, was very attentive throughout the evening and made sure we had everything we needed. We started with drinks, and I ordered the blueberry tequila sour -- twice! They were very good. I ended the night with a French 75, which was also delicious. For appetizers, our table ordered a wide variety including cheese fritters, calamari, crab cakes, artichoke dip, and mussels. Most of the appetizers were enjoyable, especially the crab cakes, which were my personal favorite. The only disappointment was the calamari, which lacked flavor, had a rubbery texture, and even the marinara sauce was bland. After filling up on appetizers, I skipped an entrée and ordered another round of crab cakes instead. While they were excellent, they were served over a bed of pinto beans mixed with salad, which felt like an odd pairing. There are definitely better side options that could complement the dish. Overall, the food was about a 7/10, service was a solid 9/10 (though drinks took a little longer than expected), and the ambiance was pleasantly low-lit without feeling overly formal. It's a family-friendly spot with a welcoming atmosphere, and I'd definitely consider returning for future special occasions.

Moody lighting, low rumble of noise and music you enjoy but don't notice. My kinda place. Rye was our server and she was excellent. Not only top-notch recommendations but also let us know about the tasting menu- I can't wait to come back to try the off-menu one they do the last Wednesday of every month. We got raw oysters to start and chose the seasonal preparation. It was almost like frozen lemonade crème fresh, but with the brine of the oysters it just worked. Would def order again! We started with a whiskey sour and AM old fashioned. Both great but mine was so good my husband ordered another round of them for us before we got a bottle of red. I don't recall what bottle it was but it worked perfectly as it wasn't too heavy and swung easily from apps/pasta/entrees. Then we opted into the blind tasting menu. 5 courses, chosen from the menu that you don't know what you're getting until it touches the table. My husband and I are pretty adventurous as far as food goes so it was perfect for us. No shit- Everything was amazing. I loved the tasting menu as it was not any dishes we were considering and I am so glad we got to try things we wouldn't have otherwise. For example, the little asparagus appetizer was the best thing we ate, on God. Like, what in the actual F ! The kind of magic they created with those little green veggies was out of this world --I didn't even want to swallow it was that delicious. There was some kind of fish crudo with beet and kumquat relish. Weird and so good! We also had some pasta with a lemon-y butter sauce and spinach and then a chicken entree. I was getting so full by the time entrees came I ate less than half of it but the skin was crispy, chicken was cooked to perfection and husband finished them both. Now yall, the dessert was a heavenly little pot of rich chocolate with a caramel base and crunchy honeycomb crisp on top. I was so full I couldn't finish it but my husband finished his and then mine. We also ordered a little affogato and it was perfect to finish the meal. I will absolutely be back and look forward to trying their other restaurants in the near future!!!

Overall there are 5 courses and took about 2 hours. Overall the food was very good except the entree. The spinach was extremely salty and unfortunately every time i or my group took a bite of spinach it was off putting. I was able to eat the portions not touch by the spinach but it was so salty spinach was inedible. The best thing of the night was this spinach pasta dish with pumpkin. I would just go back for that. Again, overall it was a fun experience but unfortunately would not do it again. I would probably go back just for their pasta.
