    Everyone that I have spoken to on the phone and in the office has been rude. The maintenance crew is very nice and helpful.

I truly didn't think this place was going to get back on track, but she pulled it off. If she doesn't enforce the rules, the community becomes chaotic. If she does enforce them, some people call her mean. That's the reality of managing a large community. I am truly grateful for everything Shawnte has done and continues to do at Sonoma. The property is cleaner, quieter, and much better managed than it used to be. If you appreciate a community where the rules are applied fairly and consistently, you'll probably enjoy living here too. Thank you, Shawnte, for all of your hard work--it doesn't go unnoticed.

    FALSELY TICKETED AS A RESIDENT DURING INTERNET OUTAGE -- UNFAIR AND RISKY WITH MY BABY! *****SEE…read moreATTACHED PHOTO!!**** I was visiting my family member at Sonoma Porter Ranch and received a parking violation from Golden West Security (the company Sonoma hires). Normally, I always input my visitor information for the parking QR code, but yesterday there was a Spectrum internet outage and cell phone reception was terrible. I physically couldn't enter my visitor information through their system. What makes this worse is that on the violation notice it says: "known resident vehicle parked in visitor space #550." I am NOT a resident -- I am a visitor. Please get your facts right. My family members pay for extra parking spaces and never park in visitor spots. I was parked as their guest, and my license plate should have made it clear that I'm not a resident. This situation was completely out of my control, yet I still got a violation. Sonoma should have communicated with their security provider to account for outages like this, but clearly, they didn't. Because this was my final warning, the next time this happens my car will be towed. As someone who visits with my baby, the idea of being stranded without my car while visiting family is incredibly stressful and unfair. Rules should be enforced reasonably, but in this case, they're punishing residents' guests for something caused by a service outage -- and they're even recording inaccurate information on violations. This warning should be removed immediately, and this policy needs to be fixed so visitors aren't penalized for situations beyond their control!!

Having someone that responsive in your corner makes all the difference. Jonathan in maintenance is patient, thorough, and a great communicator. Pair that with 24-hour maintenance service, and you always feel taken care of. The grounds are always spotless, and the large dog walking area is a huge bonus for pet owners. I called today, the bot told me no one was available. Walked to the office -- two employees sitting right there. Worse: EliseAI's own privacy policy says they record your calls, texts, voice recordings, geolocation, and device info. Nobody told me this when I signed my lease. I got a random text from an 833 number one day introducing "Fiona" as my AI assistant. That was it. When I raised this in person, the staff was rude and dismissive. I've filed a CCPA data request and escalated to Fairfield Residential corporate. if you care about your privacy or want to actually talk to a human at your own apartment complex, ask about EliseAI before you sign anything.
