I applied for an apartment and paid a $250 holding deposit, and when the rental didn't work out, they flat-out refused to give it back. They claim the holding deposit will go toward your security deposit or be refunded if things fall through -- but that's NOT what happened at all. NO parking whatsoever and they don't even have parking spots to pay for monthly even though they seem to be empty. There is nowhere to park close by (they also tow your car ie: Walmart parking lot). I tried parking in a spot on campus that was a guest spot and STILL got a ticket from the vineyards. On the ticket it says they will revoke your "privileges" and tow your car. WHERE AM I SUPPOSED TO PARK MY CAR??? So frustrating. There is absolutely NO sound protection between apartments. You can hear EVERYTHING from your neighbors, and also people walking upstairs which actually sounds like stomping because there is no barrier. This is the worst apartment I have ever been in and I have lived in a lot of apartments. Absolutely horrible. Warning! They allow pets and refused to change filthy carpet after previous tenant. I have severe allergies so it's extremely important for my well-being. They either need to change carpets after each tenant, remove the carpet all together, or just don't allow pets! Very dangerous. read more

I honestly had high hopes for these apartments due to the location BUT boy was i wrong! Don't do it! My boyfriend lives here and is just waiting for his lease to be done with. Parking sucks, its always loud, it reeks of weed all the time, and the dogs are basically barking 24/7 (seems like it). Management here sucks! or should i say there lack of management! They will not address any issue and if they do done is taken care of. IF they they dont make changes these apartments will definitely go down the drain the way they are going. do NOT RECOMMEND at all! they will paint you a nice apartment complex just because its in a nice neighborhood but nope dont do it! read more

Vineyards are not family friendly apartments. The Vineyards can not do anything about weed or smoking so dont move here if you have kids. The Vineyards will warn you for your dogs barking loud but will not do anything about you smelling weed all the time in your apartment. The Vineyards will kick you out for being loud in your apartment but with anything else they will be lenient. The office does not help you resolve issues. The parking is terrible. We moved in in May and could not be happier. It all starts from the management. Alex was so quick and helpful from the day we wanted to see the place to the day we moved in. Cassandra is the best when it comes to helping us with any small questions or requests that we have. The property is clean, new, and it's close to almost everything in the area. Love the location. My kids love the place. The pool area alone makes it worth every penny. The showers and bathrooms are clean and there are chairs and cabanas enough for everyone. Definitely recommend! read more

The staff are very uncaring once you have moved in. The Units are not insulated a properly between floors. You will hear absolutely everything from the units above you. I mean everything. The noise from the common areas after hours is quite noisy. The rules are not properly being enforced. The facility looks so appealing but living there is anything but. My fiance set up a tour online for 5pm and put my phone # on there as he is at work and is usually unable to pick up. We received a confirmation email CONFIRMING our appointment. I called the office to ask if there were any 2 bedroom units available to view or if we would be seeing a 1 bedroom. The lady proceeded to tell me that they dont take appointments at 5pm and she said she spoke to my fiance and let him know the tour was cancelled, even though we booked it online through the apartments website. How did you speak to my fiance when my phone # is the on the tour booking? So we went ahead and changed the tour to Sunday @ 1pm. When i called on Sunday to see if they had anything earlier than 1pm the lady in the office told me that she spoke to my fiance and he cancelled the appointment since there were no units to view, and we weren't scheduled for anything????? Again...my fiance's phone # was not listed on there, so im not sure who she keeps claiming she spoke to let alone cancelled our appointment with? We were so fed up with the whole experience with the un-professionalism of the leasing office and completely shocked at how she kept stating she spoke to my fiance time after time...If you forgot to schedule the appointment on Sunday there is no need to come up with a story claiming you called my fiance and he cancelled it, we all make mistakes, just say you forgot to schedule it. She has been super helpful anytime there has been an issue and made our move in very easy. She responds to her emails and phone calls promptly and seems to always provide a solution. I spoke to a staff member at Porter Ranch who stated the apartment had 2 bedroom units with no carpet in the bedrooms. I asked the same question multiple times to confirm there actually was no carpet in the bedrooms since my son has dust mite allergies. After setting up a time to go see the apartment, we were told by a different staff member upon arrival, that all units had carpet in the bedrooms except for the studios. We drove 2 hours back and forth with 2 little kids for no reason. The kids and I were so disappointed. Please train the staff so they know what they are talking about. read more
