I used to go here years ago and had no issues. A few years back, I had noticed I started to get fungus on my toenail after visiting the salon. I didn't go back for years after that. I didn't know if it was truly from the salon or not. So, just recently, I went back and brought my own brand new nail polish, top coat, and base coat. I figured they had to at least clean their tools properly. Well, that didn't work. I haven't had a mani and pedi in years. I no longer had any nail fungus. It's been about 6 weeks since I had my mani/pedi from there and I just spotted a area on my nail that now has fungus! I will not ever go back there. It's obvious that they don't clean their tools! It isn't a coincidence that both times I have gone there in the last few years that I got some type of nail fungus. read more

Great job on my gel mani pedi. Very friendly staff who takes their time. Be careful when you ask for gel polish- it's an extra $18!! I wasn't happy with that upcharge, making my total $88. Not what I was hoping to spend but hey, live and learn. read more

I've been here several times and have always had a good experience. I don't get my nails done too often so I don't know if the prices are fair or not but recently I got a spa pedicure and gel manicure for $70. He did a thorough and amazing job on my spa pedicure and was funny and attentive. They have the standard massage chairs and plenty of colors to choose from. This place is close to home, has never had a wait when I've gone, and they are always friendly. Works for me. read more

I've been very impressed with Venus Nail. First, they've recently remodeled and everything looks nice, fresh, and clean.. very spa like. I don't get my nails done a lot. With that, I picked a glitter gel polish for my pedi. When my nail tech was almost done, I was confused because the polish didn't match the sample. I thought maybe there was another step that was going to be next. No, it was my ignorance not knowing I should have requested a base coat under the glitter gel. When I asked about it, the manager came over to help. She was very attentive and understanding. She insisted the tech remove all the gel and start the entire pedi over so I was satisfied with the look. Although I felt awful for my mistake and the rework, the manager was so very kind and wanted me to leave happy. She was warm, smiled, and explained it was no problem at all. It was a great customer service experience and I'll continue to go back. They have always done a great job and I've been happy with the services. read more

I was very disappointed in the quality of my manicure today. My daughter and I both got manicures and hers was a gel. The same person did both and we were out in forty five minutes . The quality of both was not good at all. Mine was almost just a polish change. Very disappointed. read more

I can honestly say that I've never been more disappointed in a nail salon. I went here earlier this week with a friend for a mani-pedi treat. I felt like the 2 were in a race to see who could finish their client first; I've never been in and out for a mani-pedi anywhere in under an hour total, and my nails show it. Everything felt rushed, and that's not the experience I want. And I certainly don't want to pay $70 plus tip only to have to file my nails when I get home because they are uneven, jagged and not in the shape I want, clip hangnails that were ignored and use my own "ped-egg" on the bottoms of my feet. Maybe my standards are higher coming from a big city (moved from Dallas, TX) but I will not be returning. read more

If you're looking for a cheap place to get your nails done, this is it. I paid $16 for a manicure. That being said, you get what you pay for here. Last week, I got my nails done by an older woman at the salon. She should not be doing nails! She burnt 3 of my nails with the drill and I pulled away telling her it was "too hot". As she cut my cuticle, she dug to deep leaving multiple cuticles with cuts. The icing on the cake was when her glove got stuck to one of my nails leaving a glove mark on my nail. I was getting dip and it was the bubble bath color so you could clearly see the imprint alone with the nail burns on the 3 fingers. read more

I have been going here for about 1.5 years but will not be going back. They no longer clean their tools, and their quality has really deteriorated. The gel mani I had two weeks ago started peeling off within 2 days - the entire nail peeled completely off. I went back and asked for it to be redone and they tried to charge me full price. I asked to speak to a mgr and was told the mgr never comes in. I called back a few days later and was told the same thing. Now the gel mani I had redone last Sunday needs to be redone less than a week later. I've talked to several over women who have had similar experiences - save yourself some aggravation and money and go somewhere else. read more

Used to be a good salon. Some of the techs may be ok but I didn't have one of those. The girl I saw wasn't professional. Pedicure was marginal. My heels still looked like over ripe tomatoes. Massage was ok but not special. I even paid for the deluxe pedi. My manicure was a joke. She cut my cuticles to the point they were bleeding. Didn't apologize then slapped a liquid bandage on them that stung like crazy without warning me. Polish chipped off in a couple days and wasn't applied properly or neatly. Save your money for another place. I'm sorry the quality of this salon has declined. I used to like it. read more

This salon is great if you want a professional mani and pedi, but customer service doesn't appear to be a priority. I have been twice, and experienced the same thing both times. Barely any eye contact from nail technicians, let alone any conversation. If I asked a question I was made to feel as though I was inconveniencing them. It's pretty much an in/out, as fast as possible, with up selling as much as they can. If you go for a basic mani/pedi you can be made to feel as though its a waste of their time. They did a good job with my nails but the lady put headphones in the entire time with no eye contact whatsoever. She only said a few words to me and when it came time to pay I set out the total for my bill. Normally it is a courtesy to tip so I tip after I pay the full bill, but she took the bill total and began grabbing for my wallet to get the amount of tip she wanted. It was my first time there and customer service was terrible and they are terrible at conversing. While she was painting my nails she laughed with her fellow employees.. whether it was about me I'm not sure. Very disappointed in their service. Not recommended. read more

went for a mani/pedi with gel polish. noticed that there is no cleaning of the spa in between clients and the "grater" used for pedi was rinsed with plain water! and then was charged $81.00! do yourself a favor and go somewhere else. read more

Unfortunately, I had a very bad experience at this salon and do not recommend it. Even though the technician I ended up with seemed to understand English, she did not understand/listen to my requests. I asked to keep the length on my fingernails and she completely cut and filed them down as low as possible. I have no clue why, but she also filed the top of my nails completely down to the point that several nails hurt. I asked for a neutral color such as OPI's "Bubblebath", & she proceeded to give me a pink & white or french manicure even though I insisted several times that's not what I wanted. Additionally, I did not see anyone clean the pedicure bath after me but noticed someone else having a pedicure as soon as I moved to the manicure station. While I had hoped to find a great nail salon closer to home, I have learned my lesson and will continue to visit my favorite salon in Fishers. AVOID this salon at all costs!!!! read more
