I just went there last week to get pedicure. The horrible thing that I had to wait 20-25 mins to get my pedicure. While I saw so many nail technicians hung around in the spa. I don't know why I had to wait that long. Finally, I got my pedicure with the guy who had done the pedicure with the lady next to me. However I didn't request "him" to do for me in order to let me wait so long. I don't know why other nail technicians did not do for me. They wasted my time. I had a great review with 5 stars that I posted, but the past two times I've been my nails have messed up within days of leaving the salon and I get the shellac manicure. I'm sad to leave such a low review, I love the atmosphere, prices and people that work there but I have to take my business elsewhere. I'm honestly just so disappointed in the shellac service. When I went to pay not only did the front desk not enter the tip correctly, but I was double charged. I alerted them immediately and they told me to call my bank before they checked it out on their end. I called chase and Chase confirmed there were two transactions for $56. I called Venus back and they they told me to give me to give them their number and Amy the manger would get to it later (not now but later). I then decided to come in and show Amy the manger my double charge. It wasn't until then she decided to investigate. The whole time she was saying "if we made a mistake." Was new to Plano/Texas & was nervous about finding a reasonably priced nice nail place... that offers massages almost as good as my old nail tech back in indy & actually gets your cuticles & cares for your nails & toes. They consistently meet & exceed my expectations. They accommodate my 4 year old whenever she tags along - she loves to get pampered, they offer wine/mimosas/water or soft drinks & a smile. A welcoming environment with a nice selection of polishes, comfortable massage chairs, attentive staff and great attention to detail. I've been to this salon twice now and both times I had high expectations and was unfortunately let down. This past visit I sprang for the Delux mani pedi and feel like I wasted my money. While I had a decent pedi (with pretty nice massage) my mani was less than spectacular. My cuticles look like someone took a weed wacker to then, and I could have done a better job on the polish myself. I was hopeful that this salon would become my go-to. I had a really good experience here. I had never been before and I got the color gel nails. Very beautiful space and the manicure was completed efficiently. It would be 5 stars, but the manicurist seemed quite rushed and made no effort to make small talk. I understand most nail techs are not fluent, but most at least ask your name. Don't even think about going here if you value your nails!! I went in today simply to have my gel french manicure removed and do a fresh french manicure using regular polish - nothing special (and these are my real nails - I don't use fake ones). The first lady who did my nails completely screwed up the shape of them, and then when she applied the topcoat to them, right in front of my eyes it started bubbling and streaking the white french tips everywhere - I've never seen anything like that happen before!! She called a manager over and the manager was very apologetic and said she had applied the wrong kind of topcoat, and she offered to redo my nails for me. I said sure. I asked her to fix the manicure since they were shaped all jagged and weird, and she did file them some but they still looked awful. I didn't say anything, because I figured I would just do it myself when I left. Then she did my French tips and again when applying the topcoat, it started bubbling! I have no idea what kind of topcoat they're putting on people's nails, but clearly something is wrong! I was there for 2 hours, and the end result is I had to have them remove all of the polish and leave my nails completely bare, and now I've had to cut an entire half inch of length off because of the damage they did!!! They offered to redo them again, but after missing an important work meeting because of this and being extremely late for another meeting, I told them there was no way I was ever coming back. read more

This place used to be great but the last couple times i have been for a pink/white fill have been awful. There are no set prices. It seems the price is at the nail tech's discretion. I went today and the lines are uneven between the pink and white and my nails are different lengths and the white is different thicknesses. We went here for a girls spa day. Just for simple manicures. They are very nice when you walk in and the facility is beautiful. But the lady who did my nails did not talk to me once kept her head down and was very rough with my cuticles and ended up cutting 4 of my cuticles with out a sorry or acknowledgement that she had hurt me. She kept going with rubbing alcohol and things that really agitated those cuts again without any care for my hands and now wounds. When they filed my nails they were left still rough and jagged. The manicurist was done with my complete manicure in under 30 minutes including the "massage". She left polish all on my fingers which another manicurist had to come and clean it up. I completely agree with some previous posts about some of the employees unfortunately the one that did my nails was that type-not excited to work there or care about their customers. I will not be returning unfortunately my search for a nice girls day salon is still on. read more

I took a chance and went to this nail shop today expecting a great experience based on the yelp reviews. The place is calming as soon as you step in. The decor is very warm and inviting. Big leather massage chairs are the best i've encountered. I did get a gel polish manicure by Katie and a regular pedicure by Lee. Both ladies did a fantastic job. Lee gave me the best pedicure that I've had in my entire life. I'm so not over exaggerating. Katie was very friendly and gave me some girl talk while doing a fabulous job on my gel polish manicure. She cut my cuticles and it was painless. She did a great job polishing my nails. I have short nails so many nail techs get polish in the wrong spots. Ms. Katie did not get nail polish all over skin or cuticles. Both ladies were great and I'm going to make this my main nail shop. I think they charge just as much as any other nail shop I've been too, but at this place it is worth it! Gel mani was $30 and regular Ped $30. Did I mention they serve beverages (wine too) and they gave me a fruit cup with fresh cut pineapples, grapes, apples, and strawberries!!This place is Fabulous!! read more

Never again! This was my third time giving this place a chance. The first time I did a Mani pedi combo with nexgen because the nail tech said it was better than gel. I was not thrilled with the outcome because they were very thick. The pedi was OK, the polish was not even and it looked like they had watered it down because it was very streaky. The second time I went in for the nexgen removal, again I had the same nail tech, she said "no you try again you like this time I do very natural for you, I don't know who did them last time but they no do good job." At this point I told her that she was my previous nail tech and she just looked at me. They came out OK. Again not thrilled. So I said I'd give them one final try but I'd stick with what I liked which was gel polish. I picked out my OPI gel color and sat down for my Mani and pedi. The first thing I notice is that the polish is not opi so right away I told her no color. She started the removal process but didn't wait long enough for the acetone to soak in so she ended up filling my nails with the machine. She didn't do a good job at removing the nexgen because some of my nails still have a layer on them. She did horrible with my cuticles and reshaping my nails. The pedi was even worse because he forgot to scrub my feet! Isn't that why most people get their feet done! So finally the torture was over. I left with rough feet and no polish. I spent $63! When I brought it to the managers attention she just said "we will tell him". Him being the guy who did my pedicure. There was No offer to fix any of the issues that I had encountered. read more

I'm sitting here satisfied as hell. My friend and I are from Houston but currently we both live in Dallas. We have our favorite nail salons back in Houston and have been looking for a permanent, go-to nail salon in Dallas for years. And I think we just found it. I am in love with this place. Great atmosphere and they have a large selection of colors to choose from (like seriously A LOT). I got the deluxe spa pedi with shellac nails. Though it was a bit pricey, I can say it was worth it. The service was great. The front desk lady was very helpful and patient with us choosing our options. For pedi, I had Min. She is my absolute favorite. She really worked hard on my feet!! Lord, she perfected them. For mani, she was okay. The curve on my nails are a bit slanted but I'll just fix it when I get home. The color and cuticles are on point. No offense anywhere or to anyone, but they are quiet. I don't feel like they're talking about me. and they work really really hard. They seemed professional and focused. I have been going to this salon for about two years now and the service has gotten worse and worse. I have had my nails done there and they do not last very long, they start separating from the your nails, in a couple of days. I have been getting my lashes extensions done by the owner, she can be very rude and half the time is not there when I have an appointment. She's charging $60-$70 for a fill on lashes and they only last if you're lucky two week... And when the lashes start coming out they fall out in clumps because they are not being done right ...Tips are now cash only! It's a beautiful place but I agree with some of the other reviews the owner/supervisor needs to be a little more friendly, more professional and needs to show up for her appointments. I drive 15 miles to come see her and half the time she's is very late or not thereI I will be finding me a new place on go! read more

Thievery at its finest. They stole my Tiffany bracelet on a Thursday. The tech took it off so quickly it was weird. I came into the shop on Monday, the " Main tech" told me she would give my note to the receptionists and she would call me if it turned up. 3 days NOTHING. I called AGAIN on Thursday (1WEEK later) asking to see the surveillance tape because it did not sit well with me. They called back in less than an hour claiming their cleaning lady placed it in their safe. I came to get my bracelet only to be greeted with silence and attitude. I asked why I wasn't contacted until I requested to see their footage. She tells me their cleaning lady comes Friday to Sunday and they just checked the safe. LIES! She then told me that someone left a 20k ring and she returned it. DUH! Plano police would have arrested her if she hadn't. If this doesn't sound like a complete SHAM. Please let me know. This was a Christmas gift from my best friend and she has no idea how her disposition and thievery have sickened me. Don't take off your jewelry!!! read more

Just moved to the area and decided I deserved a pedicure. First walking in I love the big water fountain they have behind the desk, very nice atmosphere. The service is quick, efficient and friendly.
