We went to celebrate birthdays and we had a fabulous time! We were allowed to order from the prefixed menu on a Sunday night and so we did. We added some appetizers. The food service and ambiance were all perfect. We were surprised that the restaurant had been around for 15 yrs and we didn't discover it earlier. Needless to say, it's worth another visit!

Came for lunch around 2:30 and had their lunch prefix menu which was 3 courses for $40(?). Service was excellent. Super attentive. Restaurant has a lot of comfortable seating. All the food we ordered was very good and the portion was big. The seabass was cooked well and had a good portion of vegetables on the side. The pork chop was also well cooked with good flavors and not dry. The lunch menu is def worth it and will be back!

Came here for the first time last week. They have indoor and outdoor seating. It's a very cute ambiance. They have a selection of options to choose from on their menu. We ordered Zucchini chips and Calamari for appetizer...Both very good! My friend ordered the baby arugula salad and it was delicious!!! I tried a bite and let me say I wanted to eat it for her! I ordered the Lox Benedict, I was so full from just the appetizers(appetizers are pretty big portions) that I couldn't finish the Benedict but it was delicious to say the least. For drinks, we ordered Iced Cappuccinos and we thought they were very watered down. Our server Jason was great...he was very attentive and efficient. I will be back to try your Risotto Croquettes :)

Great outdoor space and great food! Came in with a friend for dinner and it did not disappoint. We started with the zucchini chips. Super tasty and came stacked high! The tzatziki dipping sauce was super tasty and the perfect pair. For dinner we split the bronzini and the risotto because we couldn't decide! The bronzini is cooked whole and offered deboned. Perfect! No messing with bones at the table! The scallop risotto was rich and creamy and topped with delicious scallops. I appreciated that for a Saturday night they didn't rush us! Plenty of time to hang out and ease our way through appetizers and dinner. Definitely would recommend for a nice dinner outside with some drinks and good food!

Celebrated Valentine's Day here. They have only Valentine's Day menu for $85 per person. I was upset at the very beginning because I expected order dishes my own but then we can only choose main course from a set menu. However, after enjoying the service here, I think $85 was still valuable. It contains one appetizer, one main course and one dessert. The service was really good here, staffs were caring and polite. Appetizer we choose salad and Coconut Shrimp. I really recommend the Coconut Shrimp. The Shrimp was giant and very crispy. Only 3 shrimps per dish but I think it's still good portion for appetizer. Main course we choose steak and Scollop Risotto. The steak was tender, which was out of my expect. Risotto was also above average. We were mostly full on the half way of main course, since they also provided free bread. Dessert we choose Chocolate Lava Cake and Cheese Cake. Both taste really good! And we packed the left over home. Overall I had a good experience celebrating Valentine's Day here. ------------------------ 店名:Veranda Restaurant & Cafe 208-01 Northern Blvd Bayside, NY 11361 United States

I can't believe I have not shared a review here. This is the best Greek in bayside. The restaurant is large and comfy inside. The service is out of this world. They have by far the best zucchini chips and dipping sauce. Most places serve red sauce they serve tzatziki which is delicious!!!!!!!

I live around the neighborhood and pass it all the time heading to the highway. I feel like this restaurant has been taken for granted. It has a beautiful outdoor dining area and inside - very high end and classy. You can definitely bring a date here! We ordered food off the brunch menu. I ordered the arugula salad with chicken and it was surprisingly delicious. The frittata, French toast was also decent. The food came out in a decent amount of time. The waiter was attentive. I would definitely be coming back!

This is a very spacious restaurant both indoors and out - great for a large party - I love how the outside is covered and gives you a private, protected feeling without the unforgiving sun beaming down on your head. They are hospitable and attentive. However, the food was a bit bland for my taste. I had the eggs Benedict and my friend had the crab cake burger. We both thought it was just ok, nothing special. There might be better things on the menu but doing an eggs Benedict well is usually a good indicator of the quality of the food. Maybe just me? Welp, we decided to get drunk instead and then everything was better lol. I might give another go for dinner just because they were so nice. :)

This is by far the worst brunch I've ever been to. The ambiance is weird, wrong order, food was very subpar and the service is horrible. No wonder this place has 5 tables on Saturday and the weather is beautiful !

Came her for brunch this holiday weekend. Traffic was light probably because of it. There is street parking available. The cafe was fairly easy to find on Northern Blvd. Had the avocado toast which very good. My other companions had the Greek frittata which was ok and they found bland. The California omelette was very good. As long as we were not sitting by the speakers, we were able to converse comfortably. Service was attentive and efficient. There is a credit surcharge. Folding patio doors open to plenty of outdoor seating. It is away from the bustle of Bell. Will be back!

I was also crazing something lighter and Mediterranean so this fit the bill. On to the food, the sole and dips were the only thing we tried that was worth getting frankly. The chicken souvlaki was def the worst thing we ordered. It was too charred and completely dried. Just not an enjoyable entree. The sole was yummy but did not blow my mind. The Bifteki was good but not as good as the sole. It was on the pricier side. 3 entrees, 1 app was over 120$. The interior and staff were great! Unfortunately, I don't think I will return.

Maria and her staff treat everyone like family from the moment you walk through the door. Pickles were spears in a breading that was crisp and tasty - these are so good and sho I love be added to the permanent menu. Tbh whenever I see fried pickles, I always order them. I could only eat half while at the resto. Hours later I ate the other half and I and it cold and it was still perfectly delicious. I even tasted more of the flavors this time around. It's been six years since I last came here. The food is still pretty good and the service was…read morefriendly, but overall I found the sandwiches a bit overpriced. The menu has very detailed, almost elevated descriptions that make everything sound spectacular, but in practice the flavors don't quite come through, especially the sauces, which are barely noticeable. Our server was flexible when we asked to swap the potato chips for fries on the kids' grilled cheese meal, which we appreciated. However, we were then charged $1.40 for a side of ranch for the fries. I understand they have a range of specialty sauces and dips that are clearly priced on the menu, but that still felt steep for ranch. They also offer a combo option to add fries for $5, but the portion doesn't really feel aligned with the price. The steak sandwich itself was surprisingly tender, even though it looked like it might be tough. That said, I couldn't taste the roasted red pepper sauce, and the "sweet onion jam" turned out to just be caramelized onions. My mother actually ended up picking them out because she doesn't eat onions. (she won't eat onions that she can see) The buffalo cauliflower was tasty, but could have been crispier. The "serves two" description also felt a bit generous given the small portion. I also ordered a brisket sandwich to go with fries. The coleslaw sounded great on the menu, but in reality the flavors didn't stand out, no real hint of jalapeño, just a fairly standard slaw. Overall, the food descriptions felt more impressive than the actual execution, though the to-go fries portion was more generous, which was a nice surprise. Would I go back? I'm not sure. Maybe for a casual visit with a few beers and fries with an assortment of dipping sauces...I am a sucker for those.
