We came here on an early Sunday evening to celebrate a friends birthday dinner. Parking can be a little hectic since it's located on a busy main road, but it's well worth the effort. This feels like a warm, family-friendly neighborhood restaurant serving authentic Thai food. The atmosphere was cozy, and the service was incredibly thoughtful. We accidentally ordered the wrong Tom Yum soup (we didn't realize there were two versions), and our waitress went above and beyond by happily switching it to the creamy one. I can't say enough good things about the food. To start, I absolutely loved my plum drink. Some of the highlights of our meal were the papaya salad and mango salad--both were perfectly balanced, fresh, and full of flavor. The steamed chili lime branzino was incredibly tender, with a beautiful balance of lemongrass and fresh herbs that, for a moment, brought me right back to the street food in Chiang Mai. The BBQ pork jowl over rice was another pleasant surprise--juicy, flavorful, with just the right balance of sweetness and crispiness. By the end of the meal we were completely full, but there's no such thing as skipping dessert at a great Thai restaurant. We ordered the Bi Go Moi with taro ice cream, and it was the perfect ending. If you're a fan of purple sticky rice and rich coconut milk, this dessert is an absolute must. The taro ice cream paired beautifully with it and really hit the spot. We truly enjoyed every part of the experience--from the delicious food and warm hospitality to the wonderful company and laughter that made for a memorable birthday dinner. We'll definitely be back!
Came here for lunch special. I ordered the drunken noodles with beef and fries for appetizer. Durnken noodle was a comfortable portion size. It was pretty good overall on flavor. A bit too much bell peppers for my liking but the mild spicy was just right. I would definitely come back again and try their other dishes.service was very friendly and fast. Environment was nicely renovated and modern.
Overall tasty staples you'd expect from a Thai restaurant! Came here for a weekday dinner with a friend and ordered: - Lychee thai iced tea (5/5) - Taro fritters (4/5) - Rock shrimp (3.5/5 with the sauce) - Shrimp panang curry (4/5) - Chicken pad thai (4/5) - Mango sticky rice (4/5 but mango was small since its seasonal!) The ambiance of Prode is nice, great for a hangout with friends or family. Service was also very attentive. Overall, definitely give Prode a visit if you're in the neighborhood. You can expect some good food, nice service and overall great vibes.
Back here a year later for Valentine's dinner with family and nothing short of exceptional from beginning to end. Easily the best Thai food in the entire Bayside area. Everything is amazingly authentic. I strongly recommend you to check this place out.

I came here for dinner with my family and gf. We didn't have to wait long. It feels like an upscale spot so the ambience is nice. The service was fast. we got our food pretty quickly after ordering. The staff were super friendly. Everything looked great when it arrived. Fired Calamari- 8/10 There was a lot. There was enough to go around. It was crispy and the calamari flavor was good. My parents loved the dipping sauce . Crispy dumpling - 5/10 There was four total. The dumpling felt kinda greasy so we had trouble finishing. Taste wise it was good reminded me of deep friend Tyson chicken nugget. Kao shao noodles - 8/10 The noodles were bigger than expected. The soup was good it was a sweet flavor. The noodle texture was great firm and chewy. The nooodles soaked up the soup quick so it got a bit soggy but i liked that too. The beef was tender and there an abundance of it. i would recommend getting this if you want something hearty and warm for the winter time. Curry beef rice- 5/10 Nothing too special here just curry and beef. The beef was tender and the potatoes were great. There was so much i had trouble finishing it. Grilled squid - 5/10 They give you the whole squid. It was pretty good but i wish there was more grill flavor. it came out so quick we are suspicious that it may not have been freshly grilled. The dipping sauce for this was great tho! Mango sticky rice - 5/10 it was a decent amount. it was great to eat this after all the heavy stuff. Nothing really stood out about jt . Overall: I'd recommend this place for people in the area that want thai food. It's a bit expensive so i would get it only for special occasions. It's a good spot for a cute date night .

Full flavored dishes with great wok-hei and stellar service with an upscale yet cozy vibe! The pad see ew and pineapple fried rice were on the smaller side, but the flavors and textures were absolutely 10/10. Loved the fried fish-- got both the mango and the basil variations, each having their own approach in flavor. I don't have much to say except that you should come eat here! Everything about this place feels a step above, so it could be a great celebration spot or date night spot for sure.
Food was delicious, they had some interesting takes on traditional dishes. We ordered the rock shrimp, panang curry and drunken udon noodles with pork belly. Highly recommend. Restaurant is very new and modern looking and welcoming. The music is modern music with a bossa nova take. Highly recommend.
A new Thai restaurant right on Northern Blvd in Little Neck! The place is very modern with a nice bar table. There is no parking lot but I found residential parking right behind the place. We came shortly after it opened on a Saturday and got the lunch special which includes an appetizer and an entree with choice of meat for a reasonable price. I was surprised their lunch special extends from the weekdays to the weekends. Since I came with a group and we all got the lunch special, I was able to try all of the appetizers and a variety of the entrees. The only thing is that the fries on the lunch special is not their regular shake Fries that is very uniquely seasoned with hints of lime and spices and a spicy mayo sauce. The flavor reminds me of the Takis chips. The spring roll was my least favorite as it tasted just like the ones at Chinese take out if not a little better. The chive pancake is good if you like the strong chive flavor. The chicken wings is the best choice as you can never go wrong with chicken wings! For entrees, I got to try the pad see ew, drunken noodle, Penang curry and spicy basil fried rice. The drunken noodle was very nicely flavored and so was the Penang curry. Though, I would prob not get one lunch special for myself next time because I was so full after this meal. I didn't even have room to try the mango sticky rice I wanted. For drinks, I got the Thai iced tea which comes separated in two glass containers for the tea and the milk so that you can mix it yourself. It was very good! My friend got the lychee Thai Tea which was very good too! No artificial lychee flavors and comes with two big juicy lychees that was so good! Perfect if you don't want a milky drink. The employees were very attentive and nice. They always refilled our water when they saw it was low and came up to check on us every now and then.
I had not heard of this place, so I may have passed by if a couple of my friends didn't recommend it! The store is small but beautifully decorated with an arch shelf behind the bar. I didn't feel, however, that the aesthetics compromised the rest of the restaurant. We ordered some Thai iced teas and a grilled squid to start. The iced tea was served with the creamer and the tea separated so you could control the milkiness of the tea, which I thought was a lovely touch. I liked the grilled squid, though it was a little smaller than it seemed in pictures. The herbaceous and slightly spicy sauce complemented the tender cooked squid. I did wish they had knives as the squid wasnt cut well enough. I contemplated getting my basic pad Thai or pad see ewe but decided to branch out since this seemed like a legitimately good Thai place. So, I got the crispy chicken over rice. The crispy dense slices of chicken was served over a crunchy garlic rice with a fish fragrant sauce and a chili sauce. I really like a hearty chicken breast, but I think for some they may have felt the crispy fried chicken was a little dry. It was very evenly fried to a crispy perfection, and I felt the portion was pretty generous. I would visit Prode again for a cute girls meet-up!
Prode has some great Thai food & I'm surprised it took me this long to visit it. However, I will say don't bother getting the lunch special because they 100% skimp on food. As we all know, lunch specials are always a hit or miss for restaurants but this one is definitely a miss. I got the mixed vegetable delight with chicken and my appetizer as the wings. The wings were great, but the main entrée was lacking much curry and was predominantly just rice. With that being said, I had also ordered the grilled squid as I wasn't really full after their lunch special. The squid was super tasty and deserves all the rave reviews that it gets. I would definitely order this again plus the green sauce compliments it well. The service here was also great, so all in all I would be back just not for the lunch special.
This place was great. The decor was beautiful. Service was great and attentive. We had the pad see ew, papaya salad, curry puff and more! They were all amazing! My brother got crispy pork and the crisp was just the way I like it. Also recommend the mango sticky rice for dessert. Definitely coming back soon.

This place was great. The decor was beautiful. Service was great and attentive. We had the pad see ew, papaya salad, curry puff and more! They were all amazing! My brother got crispy pork and the crisp was just the way I like it. Also recommend the mango sticky rice for dessert. Definitely coming back soon. read more
Food: If you're craving a refreshing and hearty dish, get the Mango Tango!! It's a fried breaded fish fillet paired with refreshing fish sauce and vinegar-like flavor. It comes with lettuce, cashews, and rice. This dish is also topped with lots of mango slices. Khao soi with chicken was tasty. The curry sauce was amazing and the chicken tastes great. But it was a bit heavy for me for my preference. Service: The service was standard throughout our meal. However, before our meal, I was surprised by how upset they were about us being ten minutes late to our reservation. Even though we called to tell them that we would be there in 5 minutes, they gave away our table. It's valid since we were late, but just be aware to be on time! There's no grace period. Ambiance: Lovely, cute date spot but also enough seating for bigger parties if you reserve. The decor and lighting is pretty. So clean and well kept. read more
Went here for a birthday celebration and Prode was able to accommodate 10 people. I was definitely not disappointed. Service, food and atmosphere of the resturant was amazing. Prode has spice levels suitable for people looking for a flavorful spice to people who don't want tastebuds anymore. The drinks were delicious and presented beautifully. I went back shortly after for dinner with my father and tried other items and not to my surprise, Prode did not disappoint. read more

My favorite Thai spot in little neck! Beautifully decorated interior with bright lights, gold accents, and a clean, luxe aesthetic. The staff is so friendly and welcoming, and also super patient with explaining the specials and dishes if there are questions/concerns. Food is amazing! Everything comes out hot and fresh - and nothing tasted greasy or overly sweet/salty/spicy. I found the portion sizes to be fair given the prices and appreciated how well everything was plated and displayed. The lychee lemonade is light and refreshing and so is the shrimp mango salad! There's a kick to the shrimp mango salad but it's quickly offset by the freshness of the mango. The calamari, chive pancakes, and chicken wings were perfectly crispy and delicious. The coconut soup was hearty and not overly thick/creamy - a perfect comfort meal when paired with rice! I also love that this place offers lunch specials that are well portioned and I'm excited try other dishes here :) read more

I come to Prode Thai in Little Neck every year during my vacation, and it's always one of my favorite stops. The food is consistently delicious and full of authentic flavor. My absolute favorites are the crispy pork basil -- perfectly seasoned with just the right kick -- and the steamed whole fish with lime sauce, which is fresh, tangy, and packed with flavor. The staff are friendly and welcoming, and the service is always great. It's a place I look forward to returning to every year! read more

I'd been meaning to visit the place for the longest time and glad we had open opportunity for the night. It was a quiet mid week evening when we walked in. We were given the seats of our choice. Appreciated it. We picked a private corner for our group. The place is nice, not your typical Thai restaurant. It's a bit upscale yet simple but chic. The food selection is expansive. We ended up picking pork belly pineapple fried rice, pork belly with Chinese brocolli and fresh ginger shrimp for our meal. I would say everything is amazingly and surprisingly good. They cooked separately first the meats because we could taste the char on it then added to the rest of the ingredients. We loved every bite on each piece. Pricing is a bit higher comparably to other place but worth it. It is a shareable plate for its serving portion. The cocktail drinks are great as well. The sticky rice dessert is pleasurable. Best of all , the service is impressive! She whom I believe is the owner knows a lot about what they're serving and we appreciated the suggestions given. We will definitely returning. One star less on my review because metered parking across the street is a challenge . read more
This is a modern Thai restaurant which boasts an authentic flavorful food which includes Pad see ew, grilled squid, papaya salad, shrimp pad Thai, and a lot more. The atmosphere indoor is upscale, classy, stylish and cozy. They keep the place very clean. Table set up is casual. Interior decoration is clean, luxe aesthetic, not so bright light with golden accents. Food was delicious and tasty, I like the harmonious balance and contrasting flavors. Dishes are beautifully plated. Cocktails are excellent and well balanced. Offered food portions are good. Price is very fair. Staff are welcoming, attentive and warm, they take time to explain dishes and specials. The place is ideal for family outing, gatherings and hanging out with friends. A slight drawback is the slight challenge of looking for a parking. One really good thing is, you will leave the place with a smile. This is one of the places which is worth coming back. read more

Very surprised another very good food place in little neck. I was here visiting and dropped by to try. The food is seasoned very well. The staff is friendly and the decoration is done well. Highly recommend if you want some good Thai food around this area. The mango with the fish was very good. The pig was braised well. But after a while i did get sick of it cause so much flavor. The appetizer sample was good. read more
Prode is a really good looking restaurant with even better food. We got a few items, all of which we would recommend: -Papaya salad. Very refreshing, very slightly spicy. -Grilled squid. That sauce is really amazing! -Pad see ew + the fried rice. Both are solid carb options and a good size. -The full fish (can't recall what exactly) but it was really amazing and crispy. Highly recommend it! My in laws took the leftover of that to make a soup back at home. It's a cute spot overall and would be good for dates, family, meeting up with friends. A good amount of tables ordered wine and/or cocktails but I can't speak to those (yet!) read more
Prode is a great local Thai restaurant in Little Neck. The space is well decorated and the staff are all nice. I've had dinner here multiple times now and here are a few dishes I would recommend: * Thai Papaya Salad - the salad is refreshing to start with and it actually gets spicy! * Pork Belly with Pla Ra - always fried to perfection and the fish sauce paired with it is the best * Fried Shrimp Cake -fried nice and crispy, loaded with a bunch of shrimp and it isn't overcooked so the texture is still nice and bouncy * Grilled Squid - it's a classic and usually has a nice char * Massaman Curry with Braised Beef - is done well in my opinion. The beef is tender and falls right off the bone. The curry is delicious and you have to top off your rice with it. * Prawn Chili & Salt - the shrimp were decently sized and there was a lot of flavor to it There are a few items on the menu that I probably wouldn't get again, but that is just my own taste buds. We tried this spot for Valentine's Day and were absolutely amazed by how DELICIOUS the food was!! We also met Amy, one of the owners who was such a sweetheart and kept checking on us throughout dinner to make sure we were fine and having a good time. It is a very sleek spot with beautiful decor and a nice, chill vibe. The menu is expansive and the prices are good when compared to the portion sizes. We ended up grabbing a few apps (Fried Calamari, Grilled Squid, Curry Puff) and two entrees (Massaman Curry and Cripsy Pork Basil). Of course, no Thai meal is complete without a Thai Iced Coffee! The food was absolutely amazing!! The Calamari was well battered, the Grilled Squid smoky and tender, and the Curry Puff well seasoned and flavorful. I love Massaman and I enjoyed mine immensely. But, the real winner was the Crispy Pork Basil - absolutely bursting with flavor and just the right balance of crispy and tender. I loved the presentation for the Thai Iced Coffee - you pour your own milk!! Overall, this was such a beating spot with delicious food and a great vibe. I highly recommend stopping by if you're in the area. read more

TLDR: New Thai alert. Very sleek design inside. Drunken noodles and a very tasty Thai Iced Tea. Prode has taken over the former space of Sifu Chio (RIP) and while there's a lot of Thai spots - this one is pretty good. Came on a weekday night and overall pretty good. Started with the crab rangoon and laab. The laab was well-seasoned, a good amount of spice and plated nicely. The crab rangoon had a thin crispy wrapper, a very light fluffy cheese filling and some sweet dipping sauce. The Thai iced tea is also excellent where you can control how much of the milk you want to add. Entree-wise we got drunken noodles with chicken and asked for almost but just under Thai spicy. Very nice wok-flavor, generous slices of chicken and a lovely flavor with just enough spice. We also opted for the crying tiger steak which was good with a side of coconut rice. The dipping sauce is spicy but if you can handle spice - it'll be just right. Had to try the mango sticky rice and that did not disappoint either. While nothing will replace Sifu Chio for me, Prode is a welcome addition to the neighborhood. We'll be back to try some other dishes! read more
Came here with my friend on a weekday night, and it was honestly impressive. The restaurant has a super sleek design, and a very vibe-y aesthetic. The bar is gorgeous, and the service was quick and friendly. I ordered vegetable panang curry and a Thai Iced Tea. My friend got a chicken drunken noodles and we shared an order of spring rolls. The spring rolls came out at 5 for $8 and they were crispy and fresh. Clearly freshly fried and tasty! My panang was delicious, but there was nowhere near enough rice for the dish. I had to order extra for an additional $3, but that's because of the proportion of rice to curry I prefer. I also wish they had brown rice on the menu, but I didn't see it as something being offered. I have had a lot of bad panang curry, recently, and this was finally one that I would definitely order again. It was flavorful and well made. It tasted fresh and the veggies were cooked perfectly with the slightest bite. The Thai Iced Tea was also served in an interesting manner - with a glass of tea and another glass with milk so you could control the amount of milk you wanted in your tea. I'd never seen that before, and it was a cute way to serve the Thai iced tea. My friend also seemed to enjoy her drunken noodles. Tried this new thai place off of word of mouth. Although the exterior looks meek, the interior is very nice and modern, albeit a little small. The whole restaurant is very nicely decorated, and the servers are nice as well, and had good recommendations for us. I recommend the crispy duck over rice, and you definitely need to try the mango sticky rice. presentation of the food was also great. read more
Prode is definitely made my list of best Thai restaurants. The restaurant is beautiful in the day and the night and feels upscale. We had their lunch special and the portions are pretty good. Drunken noodles, panang curry, and massaman curry are delicious. I personally love curries that have a sweeter, coconut milk flavor and these hit the spot. Portion sizes are very good too--could definitely have leftovers to take home. Crab rangoons are probably the best I've had! They do not skimp on the filling and the fried "skin"/shell is thin and flaky rather than thick. Lychee lemonade is beautiful and tastes just as good! 3.5 stars ... It's my second visit in a six month period. Verymixed feelings on writing this review. Ambiance and service was good. It's definitely a beautiful restaurant. They can and should adjust the air conditioning as it was a tad chilly in there. Also, it's blowing on the food, so it would get cold too fast. The decor and layout of the dining room is very comfortable and appealing. The food was good but missed on a few things. The part that's most confusing, is the inconsistent cooking. First visit months ago (Nov. 2024), I don't think I got the fish dish I ordered. At least when it arrived, it didn't seem as described on the menu. Could have been a miscommunication on both sides, I don't know for sure. The flavor was not as expected. And I tried the Chinese broccoli with crispy pork belly. The garlic sauce was savory and the broccoli was cooked al dente. The crispy pork belly was indeed crispy. A little dry but flavors were there. This recent visit, Wednesday night (May 2025), I really enjoyed my lychee lemonade drink. It was served with two lychee pieces and the purple butterfly pea tea to mix in, on the side. The lemonade was pretty sweet and sweeter still with the purple tea mixed in. It's very refreshing. And for starters, the peanut dumplings were really delicious. A thin turnip wrap with crushed peanuts as a filling. It was a light appetizer with good flavor paired with house soy sauce to dip. My entree was the Thai style Hainan chicken (asked for white meat). The tamarind sauce it came with was delicious. The ginger Rice was fluffy, I enjoyed it. I could've used a little more ginger flavor for my taste but it was a nice compliment to the chicken. Perhaps it was because I ordered the white meat, about half my chicken pieces while boneless, were dry. It was still tender but not much flavor on the chicken meat itself. The skin had most of the flavor. My friend ordered the duck over rice and that was moist and delicious. This is why my review is so torn. I really think there are great menu choices and I'm sure many dishes are great... But I've had two hits and two misses. I wish I had room to try the desserts as that menu looks fun but hasn't happened yet. read more

Loved it! Very nice people and great food. The lunch special is amazing. It came with an appetizer and a rice dish. A little miscommunication when ordering food but they corrected it quickly and got us the right food. 100% will be coming back read more
