It took 2 hours to get seated and a fill. I understand being busy, but they say people before me who didn't have an appointment and arrived after me. She started the fill and my nails came out super uneven. When I pointed that out to her she told me no and ignored me. Then she would get up during my fill and go have a conversation with others there. Once my nails were finally filled and she was putting on the polish, I noticed bubbles forming under. This is my go to place for pedicures as the ladies here are the most consistent. The place uses disposable liners which is always a plus. I like that I don't feel rushed out of here like some other locations I have visited. The prices are fair. My only pet peeve is the constant speaking of Vietnamese in front of customers. Customer service wise, this can be very rude. read more

I'm giving this place 3 stars because even though my pedicure was absolutely wonderful, the technician who did my manicure was very impersonal and acted very unconcerned about how well of a job she did with my nails. I could have done a better job myself. She was more worried about her next appointment than she was about getting my nails done correctly. Although the place was very calming when first entering, their technique and materials for waxing could be higher quality. I was going to get my lip waxed and at first I was fine. Later that evening my entire upper lip broke out. I haven't had this problem before, so this really took me by surprise. I wash my face everyday and do my regular skincare as well. I went in one weekend with my boyfriend so we could get pedicures. I received great customer service, even after I dropped a nail polish and it broke. There was nail polish all over my feet and all over the ground. I offered to clean it and they insisted I sit. Everything that was offered for the pedicure I chose was what I received. As I left the salon I messed up one toe, I went back in and they fixed it for me really quick. After getting home and taking a closer look once they had dried, they were extremely sloppy. The second coat was just slapped on and didn't cover my whole nail. So I will no longer go to that nail salon just because one technician doesn't know how to polish nails and she works at a nail salon. I wish I knew her name but I don't. read more

Super friendly service! I went in on a busy Sunday with my boyfriend for pedicures and they got us in very quickly, sitting together. The massage chairs were fantastic and the staff was very helpful explaining the settings. We got the $45.00 all inclusive package and with the leg mask, hot foot wax, sugar scrub and massage, I was in heaven! My boyfriend was very comfortable being the only man work done! They take the time to remember my name, my job, and my vacations. Each staff member is very attention-to-detail, clean, and the end result is always top notch. Vera's is a good nail salon. Very friendly and good service. However they need more nail technicians. It's ALWAYS busy on peak days with the same amount of technicians as on any other day. The problem is that the tech that does your pedi does not do your mani. So you have to wait AGAIN for a Manicure tech to free up to do your nails. Expect to be there longer than you want to. If this gal would bring in just 2 more technicians it would help greatly. I"ll try them again because they are close but plan on looking for a new place. read more

I got the most expensive pedicure and it wasn't that great and there was ants everywhere crawling all over my massage chair. The massage wasn't anything special I didn't enjoy myself. You couldn't pay me to go back to this place. Three hours to get a full set of nails! Why offer walk-in service and then treat your walk-ins like they are second class citizens? They'd start working on me and then stop working on me and then start working on me and then stop again when someone would come in - some with appointments and some appearing to be friends. I was obviously getting annoyed after 2 1/2 hours so the girl finally focused on me. While she finished my nails she chit-chatted in her native language with the other worker who was finished and had sat down next to her. It was more than obvious that they were talking about me. She would look at me, say something, and then they'd laugh. It was the absolute worst service I've ever received anywhere, and extremely unprofessional. read more

I tried Vera's because a good friend of mine recommended the place and was pleased with their service. I went in for a fill and pedicure. The nail tech was very nice, but there were issues. First, she filed the side of one of my nails so hard it cut the skin, when I said "ouch!" she quickly put nail glue on it. So I had raw skin with nail glue attached. I explained it hurt and she tried to fix it, but damage done. Too many layers of gel were also placed on my nails. My usual place does two coats and 60 secs under the UV light. This tech kept asking me to put my nails under the light 4 and 5 times. Way to excessive! My nails are not as thinly painted as I'd like. The pedi was okay, but I was burnt with first the hot rocks then the hot towel. A lot of pain associated with this visit - I will not be back! The total time for both services was also 1 hour 45 minutes. My other place can do both in 1 hour. I just don't have the time, nor patience for discomfort when getting nails done. read more

ABSOLUTELY DO NOT GO HERE. I went at 3:30 in the afternoon and wanted a mini pedi. Midway through, another customer came in and the attention from my tech was turned to her. She immediately finished my so called pedi....which consisted of cutting my nails and using some STUPID scrub brush on top of them...and was done. I told her I thought I was getting clear nail polish and she said "no you don't want that...it has chemicals". I was bum rushed to the register and charged $18 dollars...which I said was too high...and she went to her "manager" who said the charge was $18. I paid in protest and didn't tip...and left furious. I would have given no stars. This place should not be called a business. My daughter went there and was denied service 30 mins before it closes. If a "business" wanted money then the "business" should provide service even if the place closes soon. Also, I was watching a one of the ladies working there and she didn't clean any of the tools she was working with when she used it on another customer. read more

Felt like being in Saigon... I saw the tech who did my mani/pedi clean up after doing a pedi on a kid and bring over the same tools to do my nails. I asked her about it and she denied it, saying that they hadn't been used. After having a VERY basic mani and one of the worst pedis I've ever had, I went to pay and was told $32, which is what I expected. Another customer who was checking out right behind me was told $30. The customer said "I thought it was $32." "Yes... But you get summer discount." I would ask about the summer discount if I went back, but I won't be going back. I'd rather not pay at all to have my cuticles pulled off rather than trimmed! read more
