The corn wasn't so great, I think from being under the warmer for a while. But overall, it was pretty good. The server was awesome! I forgot her name but very nice and fast!! She was on top of it. The place looks like it needs a bit more cleaning. Especially around the ice cream corner. Why is it always wet?

When the extended, extended family arrives in town for any reason, Golden Corral pops to the top of our list. Bountiful variety, buffet pricing, long tables, service enough to keep everyone decently satisfied with extra napkins, drink refills, take away used plates and the other small needs of a table full of diners of all ages. March 29th, 2026 a herd of humans gathered to feast. A Sunday, the after church crowd was present in their finery. Other families were in for a Sunday supper. Our crowd gathered from Albuquerque, Northeast Arizona, Deer Valley, Central Phoenix and? Remembering our deceased. I sat next to a lovely woman in her 70's, and two seats away from a six year old. My modest beginnings of spiced beans, cornbread and select salad parts was ultimately supplemented and completed by wings, mashed potators and greens from my left, and a hot dog with one bite gone and a giant helping of mac and cheese. The six year old ran off with my frozen yogurt cone. Such is life. Our service was excellent, a young woman successfuly dealing with her crowded section of The Corral. Our last time here was pre-Covid. Prices are higher, crowds are crowder, the busy food steam and other trays emptird and filled from the busy kitchen. Will we return? I am sure we will.

Everyone is nice, happy, and checked on us often. The food was very, very good. We went with our usual first time items: chicken tikka masala, daal makhani, saag paneer, mango lassi, and naan. Also tried the chicken and lamb naans as well. I've eaten a lot of Indian food all around North America and this tikka masala was probably one of the best I've had. The rice was also perfectly cooked. We'll definitely be back soon!

The food tastes like someone cares, and it's kept fresh and rotating instead of sitting there dying under heat lamps. This is one of the few buffets where I don't feel like I'm compromising quality just because it's a buffet. The garlic naan deserves its own paragraph. It's legitimately great, and it's dangerously easy to keep grabbing just one more piece. Easily one of the highlights and clearly something they do right consistently. Menu-wise, the usual favorites show up for a reason. Chicken tikka masala, saag or palak paneer, biryani, vindaloo. Portions are generous if you order off the menu, and they're generally willing to adjust spice levels if you ask. Service is friendly and straightforward. No attitude, no upsell nonsense, just people doing their jobs well. In short, solid food, great value, and one of the better lunch buffets around.

Comfortable, sorta on the dark side. Classy. As I was not driving today, I decided to try their smoked Old Fashioned. Excellent -- and the dark cherries they use are the perfect addition to the cocktail. (The glass is coated with smoke from a smoldering piece of pecan wood, and the cocktail was served with a cloud of smoke under a coaster covering the glass.) The pig sickles ( ribs) were the perfect chance to make a pig of myself. Had the two meat plate, pig sickles and barbecued pulled chicken, If you like corn, you must have the side of corn with your dinner. The barbecue beans were delicious. Our server did a magnificent job tending to our drinks, appetizer, and food orders -- despite being very busy (the place was packed! -- and seemed like she was in constant motion. Very nice individual who liked la Prices? It was expensive, but the best barbecue always is. Eating isn't cheap. It was well worth every dollar spent. All in all, it was a perfect dinner. The perfect parting gift: a small paper bag containing four small donuts, coated with cinnamon. Our bag didn't make it home... I think we've found the perfect place to bring our family and out-of-town guests for dinner.

Another new restaurant another new review…read more After being unable to go to Texas Roadhouse and Longhorn steakhouse due to incredibly long lines, we decided on Lin's Grand buffet. We paid in advance as most buffets do, $18.95 per person plus 3.95 per drink. We were taken to our table and our drink order was taken. Just looking at the buffet was enough to make me regret this decision. Orange colored Lo mein noodles, some sort of fish dish in between the "orange chicken" and the "spicy chicken". "Sautéed sausage and jalapeños" in a "Chinese buffet"? This we BAD Mexican Food, BAD Chinese food fusion. Everything on the buffet had previously been frozen and cooked, you could tell by the pool of water that most of the food sat in. Nothing had any flavor whatsoever so ever. If this was the only place to eat I have a feeling I would starve to death. Once back home in Tucson things didn't get better. I give the one star only for the waitress who kept our tea glasses full, which if there is any bright star about this place, was actually a good glass of tea. My recommendation, Avoid at all cost unless this is the ONLY place you can get food, which with 2 excellent steak houses right next door is highly unlikely.
