Clean buffet with a decent selection of food that comes out hot! I don't typically eat at buffets outside of Vegas but my grandma really likes this place. We've been a few times for lunch and dinner. Service is good and the staff does a good job of keeping the tables and buffet area very clean. As far as the selection goes they have seafood, including crab legs that seems to be popular. Some dim sum type dishes, veggies, popular Americanized Chinese dishes, Chinese meat dishes, Mongolian bbq area, bbq short ribs, salad bar, sushi bar, dessert and fruit bar, etc. I'm not super adventurous and stick to what I like which is ALL 10/10 in my opinion: salt and pepper chicken wings, grilled corn on the cob, pan fried dumplings, wonton soup, and spicy crab hand rolls. Reasonable prices for their dinner buffet without drinks included. We came at 6pm and most of the food on buffet were low or needs to be refilled. The crab legs were overly cooked and so it was hard to crack. The crawfish were over cooked so it didn't have any flavor and seemed old since it was dried out. They have a nice soup and dim sum selections for a buffet plus sashimi sushi as well as cold salad bars. Loved the chicken feet on the salad bar. Lots of different style of shrimps so that was cool. Plenty of food choices to satisfy everyone. Some choices are really good while some items are eh... but buffets are like that. Fish and seafood can be so easily overcooked and hopefully never undercooked. So while some fish could come out perfect other "refills " were overcooked. The sushi was decent and my son liked the Mongolian style area. Little kidlets loved being able to pick whatever they wanted and my daughter loves the crab legs. (Only in the evening buffet) I enjoyed the bbq pork and short ribs, steamed fish and muscles. read more

Pacific has been my go to on the West side for over ten years. Always well-prepared food and better service than most all buffets. Clean, handicap accessible inside. It's in a srip mall now, but it's still the same ambiance (a bit noisy), but overall enjoyable for family and groups. Be careful about what you fill up on - there's always more to choose from than most all other Asian/Seafood buffets. Give it 4.4 stars. I subtracted .05 for noise, crowd, then .05 for minor food peculiars, but half a point more for my last plate, which was BBQ. Next time I'll start with that. read more

Pacific seafood is a budget friendly Asian buffet restaurant. They have all the common dishes like fried rice and chowmein. Sundays are extra cost because they have extra seafood options. We frequent here when nobody in our group can decide where to eat. Overall decent buffet for the price and they seem to have gotten better recently as well. Food seems fresher with more selection. I came with a huge group and got reservation for the back room. It is really nice room and we are able to be quite private. I love the price and the food!! They have already a good selection of seafood items for lunch. Many of the shrimp dishes were yummy. The staff keep asking the back to make more specific dishes. So all the dishes are being refilled. Needles to say that in spite of being full of Ozempic, I did manage to make a small dent in my diet (no diet coke/pepsi) The choices were much better than harbor seafood and REFILLED like right now. So, I visited this place many years ago when it was a different company. Never visited this company when it was in its prior location a few years ago. What I can say is that it's a mediocre buffet. Not ridiculously expensive but also not quite worth what you're paying for. The shell-on shrimp selections were way overdone. The korean bbq flat ribs were so inedible that I literally couldn't chew the meat off of the bone. It was shoe leather. The desserts were very sub par. The salt and pepper squid or whatever it was called was very mid. There were several other choices I tried that I only ate a bite and shoved it to the side. The mongolian beef was actually passable. It had pretty much zero green onion in it and the meat was low quality but at least it wasn't overly sweet like most places on this side of town. The salmon sashimi was very good but you had to finish off what was ready for serving before they would place any more, and who knows how long the tongs had been sitting there in between all the refills. The breaded shrimp was ok. The teriyaki chicken was great that it had a char and the coating on it was good but it was way overcooked. The fried bananas were excellent. I passed up several selections because they were obviously very overdone and dried out or had very cheap ingredients. I didn't try out the mongolian bbq because frankly, there are no directions. There is a selection of a few items that could be considered as related to mongolian bbq and a guy with a cookstove behind it but absolutely zero direction as to what to do to put together ingredients and have a meal cooked for you so I didn't bother. I attempted the dinner version of this place but considering the selections that adds, if I were to ever return, I'd go before 4pm and just get the lunch version. As far as service goes, there really isn't much. You wait at the front until someone seats you and eventually they ask you for what you want to drink and bring you refills, and bring the check. Will I come back? Yeah, probably. I'd just hone in on the mongolian beef because it's passable and grab some salmon and breaded shrimp and call it a day. for $17 or so, that's like an 8 inch pizza nowadays. They moved to a new location on the SW corner of Bell and 59th Ave. This location is much larger than their old location closer to loop 101. We went there because we were going to State Farm Stadium for the Final Four. I posted the current hours and prices. They still have a good variety of Chinese and Japanese food. The downside is they are slow to replace the nigiri so if you are waiting for some you need to be watching and take the few they put out because they go quick. Overall good for fast efficient meal near the stadium. Just wish they wouldn't slow play the nigiri so much. read more

We were at this restaurant Saturday with all of our family for an after funeral meal. As you enter the smell inside is pretty bad. The food appearance is not bad. Weekend buffet had an amazing assortment of seafood and they understandably charge more, but if you really want to dive into seafood you should definitely go then. I didn't limit myself to the seafood though, although I did lean heavily in that direction and also opted for the more exotic items than more mainstream buffets would have. These were some of my choices: crab legs, clams, tilapia, frog legs, crayfish, shrimp, sushi, chicken wings, octopus, sesame bean paste balls, little banana leaf packets with rice and bean filling, all manner of vegetables, different soups, and so much more and you don't have to eat again for the rest of the year ;) The picture shows my first plate. The workers were always busy filling and freshening the steam bins, the sushi chef and barbecue stations were filled with appetizing treats. And servers will bring you your beverage choices and keep removing your empty plates, so make sure you tip these hard workers as they add to the experience. The well lit and modern buffet was efficiently arranged and tables and booths were not crammed together, but what ruined our meal atmospherically is that a nearby booth had screaming cranky babies and very young children. Management would do well to reserve a corner area for those coming in with children of that age as it was incredibly disruptive. They also should do a better job of labeling the items on the buffet that would be unfamiliar to many people--people do like knowing what they are eating. read more

They have a Mongolian bbq station where they'll cook the noodles and ingredients you want fresh. Sushi bar that's so-so, there's also hand rolls. Dinner will have more seafood options like the crab legs. Desserts bar and ice cream options for dine-in (vanilla, strawberry, sherbet etc). As for the food, love the Salt and Pepper items - Shrimp, Frog Legs, Crab and Squid. For what it is, Pacific Seafood offers quality food, solid service and a good selection. The Salt&Pepper shrimp was really good. Clams and dumplings were good as well. The sushi was about comparable to grocery sushi, edible but not remarkable. Well worth the price read more

I eat there every week. I've been treated OK so far but the visit today was terrible. I got seated and then they made me move. Even after I had my food they put me against the wall where nobody helps or services me no water barely took one empty plate away barely. the price went up a dollar on the first of the year which is fine but I don't like to be treated like garbage. I are way too often so two thumbs down and yeah bad service will stop me from going there you guys are absolutely terrible today. read more

If I were the Pacific Ocean away from Pacific Seafood Buffet, I would not be sad. Neither should you. The place itself is very spacious, bright, and relatively clean. The food isn't the best though. Some items are salted extremely heavily while other items are bland. It's usually at either end of the extremes with nothing really balanced in terms of flavor here. Wanna come on the weekend for snow crab legs? Get ready to battle it out with all the greedy vultures that are poised and ready to grab them as soon as the staff sets down the tray. I'm surprised there hasn't been an injury reported with how aggressive people are here. So yes, they might offer a decent selection but I would pass coming here. read more

In 2008 a good cook from Shenyang China suggested and liked the this buffet. At that time I felt the food was okay and reasonable Senior priced. At that time employees were Chinese with many Chinese diners. I also liked watching futbol , soccer, while dining. For this reviewer it has become overpriced, the diners and staff different. Some diners appreciate the "all you can eat". Not my thinking. I have only gone with Chinese friends. My opinion is the know 1,000 times more than myself but possibly the main draw, for them is being able stuff themselves. read more

Not crowded at 7 pm on Weds night. Such an array of seafood and other meat, noodles, vegetables, soups, sushi, and even a dessert and Mongolian noodle bar. Lunch and dinner are different prices. We paid $18 for adult and less for our 6 year old Grandson. I would recommend this place to anyone who loves to eat. Totally worth the price. The food: an Asian buffet with a very large variety of common & some rare items, kept in hot trays that are constantly re-filled. Good variety of sushi & simple deserts too. The service: the polite staff quickly attends to getting your drinks & refills plus they clear your finished plates throughout the meal. The ambience: it's clean with no fancy decor but a bit noisy since the seating area is very large, usually with many kids being present & some people talk loud. Sadly there is not much to deaden all the noise. The price: reasonable for what you get. Remember this is a buffet so the quality is somewhere between average & good - just don't expect it to be on the higher level of a dedicated menu restaurant. There has been a fish buffet across from me for over 10 years and I never went there. A couple years ago they changed ownership and redid it. And I really like it. I'm a sucker for endless amounts of things to taste, and I do try to not waste food with small servings, but I'm not ashamed to go back for another California roll (single piece), a shrimp, some Chinese dish and a small bowl from the grill. And it is tricky to find but it's just back against the wall. Then a fresh plate for chocolate pudding, cookies, ice cream sundae and probably another tempera shrimp. It's like an all appetizer dinner and I love it. Everything is fresh and tastes delicious. My husband, who enjoys things in larger portions, loves it here because they have mussels.
