My favorite buffett in the city. I didn't even know it existed. I thought it was an error when I found it on Yelp. I thought I had the wrong city. But I found out it did exist so I went. & I loved it. The location is horrible...& it looks suspect outside. There's a notification on the door that makes it look like it's going thru it's Grand Opening....while it already looked worn out from outside. But I'm a foodie....I ain't no quitter. I live for a good find. And every spot deserves the same chance...so I didn't run. I went thru the doors. And that was an OK decision. It wasn't bad But Let me tell you what sold me....the food is HOT. The temperature made the food delicious. You go to all these other buffets....the food is cold or not the right temperature but this food...at least that day I went was fresh and Yummmm. I actually couldn't stop to getting up to try the next thing....and the next thing. Other interesting thing is the tables are not your usual old beat up wood but I noticed they were marble-ish....which gave the feeling of a more clean & crisp ambiance. They also have great lighting. Almost dare to say....ok deco. I don't know...maybe I was high...which I never am. That's just an expression by the way... But gotta say. I loved this place. I did. As far as buffets go...which are always dingy and in bad taste...this place shows up in good taste....literally! I heard so many things about this buffet in the hood. So I went in to give it a spin! It's like all other casino type buffets where you pay first then eat. The food was subpar in some areas. The customer service was superb. Was not impressed. Now for 2 people $40.00 is inexpensive. The seafood tasted like it had sat there quite a while. The food was mislabeled. Some food was very good. Really a quite solid buffet at a great price. Very good salad bar; love that seaweed salad and baked salmon. Really good price. I always tip $2 on a lunch re: quick dart over. Food is great. Huge number of options. I will say you might want to get there early on if you are there for lunch. I hit it right as they open, and the food is awesome. Couple times I went at noon; and while still good.... Tad bit of stale-dated chow. Anyway. GREAT place. Even with tipping $2 on a lunch gig, still below $15. Recently went to try out this new buffet in arizona and it was great, the service was 5 stars, usually I go to buffets there isn't really a server or someone that keeps cleaning and taking away your plates. But this buffet was different the server was really nice and kept checking up on us. If I visit arizona again, I will be coming back. Just okay. I would say this is a half-step behind the Lin's buffet location in South Mountain. The good: Same variety of food selections as the Lin's and similar throughout the valley. Mongolian grill setup is the strongest contender here. One of the cheapest buffets you can get into. The bad: Sushi was unfortunately a hard pass. General cleanliness (on a weekend night) was somewhat questionable. Food could've been replenished quicker. I wouldn't come here for the general selection of foods and quality. Looking for a variety of food for a good price?! This is it! I love the variety that this place offers. The taste may not be the best for each item but overall I think the food is good. They have lots of hot food, salad bar, cold and warm seafood, sushi, and build your own, tons of appetizers, and desserts. You pay first and then get seated. Only water is included in the pricing. Weekends are busier, but they have lots of seating so the wait isn't that long unless you come on a holiday. They have senior discount. They don't have a time limit. The staff is super friendly and they are very quick to come around to pick up your plates that you are finished with. There are constantly fresh food that get brought out. The Las Vegas Seafood Buffet recently opened in West Phoenix near to Desert Sky Mall. Usually new buffets are as good as they are going to be when they are new so I wanted to give this one a try. When you walk in it is clean looking and attractive. The price is also lower than the other seafood buffet that also recently re-opened. The people working there seemed nice. Plates were cleared and beverages were offered. It started bad with the sushi. I took one that looked the freshest. The fish had hard crispy ends......(ick) Moving on. The food looked good but almost every dish we tried had a problem or two. EVERY chicken and beef dish was substandard....(too tough to chew) and tasted terrible. I went for a second plate and had the same problem again.....Then I got the idea to try the Mongolian grill. I made a plate with chicken and my husband made a plate with beef. The chicken came out better than the beef (hard and chewy) but the flavors just turned my stomach. The mild white fish marked flounder was edible but was flavorless. The only thing that was good was the green beans.... My husband left hungry and wanted to eat someplace else. I just left and didn't want to eat anything. I do not recommend this buffet unless you can't taste food and don't mind tough chewy meats. read more

The food was sweet tasting even the beef dishes, I have food restrictions, I do not my foods to taste sugary. Called to talk to manager Cindy and she was not available so I asked for her to call me about complaints and she never would call me . I called weekly and I did leave my name and phone number . After so many calls the workers heard my voice and hung up phone. Poor workers . It has been 3 months and Cindy has not called me to hear my complaints. Absolutely terrible. All the food seemed like it had been overcooked for at least three days. The service staff offered no help whatsoever. As I was leaving the restaurant, I told the "manager?" that it was terrible. He gave me a Prozac smile, shrugged his shoulders, and when I said we wouldn't be coming back, he just smiled and said "OK." Stopped to try this place as it was recommended to me. The atmosphere is not very friendly and it's very loud and chaotic. The staff were not helpful and a little rude. Most of the dishes looked watery, dry or just unappetizing, but I had already paid so I decided to give the hibachi a try. Ok here is where I got concerned. I gave my plate to the cook to prepare. The guy behind me had a plate as well with shrimp. The cook used the same utensils to cook both my plate of veggies with pork and his shrimp. Thank goodness I don't have seafood allergies because he was literally mixing everything with the same utensils and at times his shrimp was touching my food. yikes! First time trying this place and it did not disappoint! You pay on entry not at the end of the meal and the prices are reasonable. It has a large welcoming atmosphere with a beautiful coy pond with some very large fish. Our server was very quick with our drinks and to clear our table of finished plates. Compared to all the other buffets I have tried in the area, Las Vegas Sea Food Buffet is 5 stars. We came to Las Vegas Sea Food Buffet on a weekday at opening. All the trays of food were filled and ready when they opened. So much variety. Both traditional and non traditional items. I was surprised to see some items not usually found at a buffet like chicken and pig's feet. Vegas Sea Food Buffet is a predominantly Asian buffet, with lots of sea food. They prepare so many dishes that the number of non sea food options is equal to what a normal buffet offers. Full salad bar. There is a whole section of kid's/American food. This really is a something for everyone establishment. Hibachi grill available in the back. Ingredient choices were fresh. My concoction was ready in about 5 minutes. (As I was told it would be.) I liked that the vegetables were not mushy. We were given several refills of drinks. Our plates were cleared a few times. Large Koi fish in the waiting area. The Good: Admission prices are great for a buffet, $12 for lunch and $15 for dinner, $2.50 for a drink - the choices are endless, 20+ stations of food, with options more than seafood. Great spot to bring the family and chill. Each food station has a theme like ribs, mashed potatoes, corn, etc or fried chicken, fries, chicken nuggets (which taste/look like McDonalds) etc - you'll definitely spend a while trying out all the food. The Bad: The service is slow, drink refills are minimized to two, it's not the most welcoming service - but times are tough can't really fault them for it. Most of the food I tried was good, in terms of quality no issues except for a few items - my only real food complaint was the fried chicken, it was food poisoning bad. You can clearly tell it was fried chicken from the day or week before. It was already yellow and smelling. Conclusion: I will definitely give this spot a try, I will be back - if you've ever been to a china buffet in Arizona? you should already know what to expect in terms of service and food. It will always be 50/50, maybe in the future the quality will continue to stay good but more than likely it'll struggle like all other china buffet spots. read more

This place has just recently opened up and my wife is a seafood hound. She loves shrimp and crab legs. I, on the other hand, am a land lover but I always take her where she wants to go, especially this one since they have crab legs or do they? The crab legs were a little different looking and very small, almost like restaurant rejects so she did not try them. The shrimp is not deveined but she tried them anyway and spent more time trying to clean the poop-chute to try to eat them then actually time eating them. If you don't mind shrimp with that vein then you are good to go. I had orange chicken and honey chicken and was average at best. The hot and sour soup was average at best but the green beans were a 10. It's a large place with a lot of food but just not anything to write home about. They do have a stir fry section and sushi section also. So, I guess it's worth a try if you like sea food and willing to dig out your shrimp and sift through the small crab legs but I think for this land lover it's a one and done. read more

Food is mid expensive for no good reason. They have it put for 16.95 on mon-Friday but it ended up being 100 for 4 adults . Crazy. On the other hand I found this little thing in my egg drop soup scared me honestly. The service is not that good it kinda takes forever to get refills. The workers walk by starring . They put your straw in your cup which is insane . Nobody has gloves on meanwhile they putting my dang straw in for me crazy. Food was great. They have a variety of food line: fried stuff, salad, sushi, American, a brunch of seafood. The service is top notch. Our waiter worked really hard, getting our finished dish all the time. Hope the LV Seafood Buffet can keep this quality of food and service all the time. Everything we tried was fresh and delicious, and even though I normally will not wait more than a few minutes for a table, I am grateful that we decided to wait the 30 minutes or so (on an extremely busy Sunday night) to be seated!!! What a great find! They have an enormous amount of choices, really good ones. The food was hot, salads' were cold and crisp. Very pleasant and helpful staff. Open and airy atmosphere. My son and I went on a Friday night at around 8pm. We were greeted quickly and were allowed to look at the food at the stations before we paid. It looked like your average Chinese buffet so we decided to go for it. We paid ahead of time and ordered 1 drink that had free refills. The tuna sashimi was frozen, which I prefer over it being warm, but would have been nice to be just right. My son went for the orange chicken. He couldn't find any potstickers and many items were mislabeled on the glass. Orange chicken was ok, but the quality of food after 8pm was poor. The food left in the pans was old. You could tell they had stopped refilling at this point as not many new customers were coming in. The octopus was hard and warm at best. The white rice was out and never replenished. The best thing they had was their cooked to order Mongolian griddle. We traveled pretty far to check it out. We won't go back, there are better out there.
