Time we arrived and price we paid.

I'm giving two stars ONLY BECAUSE our server Ashlie was amazing, super empathetic, kind, apologetic, and very attentive. The food however was absolutely disgusting we arrived at 11:30 lunch starts at 11:00 which one would expect to have fresh food unfortunately that was not the case everything was either cold or so hard that it wasn't edible. I did speak with the manager who was very nice about it and actually gave me two certificates to come back which I appreciate but then there was this bald manager who was rude and seem to have an attitude including with his staff very unprofessional as management is the face of the brand. I wish I had just gotten a refund because paying basically 40.00 dollars to enjoy only the salad and dessert wasn't worth it. Hopefully they see this and make some changes.

Tasty fried chicken wing and bacon. Coleslaw with vinegar and carrots & raisin salad no bueno.

Celebrating a Sweet 16 at the birthday girl's favorite restaurant. Our server, Maday, was excellent and attentive. She provided great service. Of course I checked out the menu in advance. I decided I'd only get an omelette and bacon. The cook knows what he's doing. Oh my goodness. That omelette with bacon, onions, green peppers and both yellow & white cheese was DELICIOUS!! A customer came up while my omelette was being made and ordered an omelette in Spanish. I asked what was that. He said spinach. There was no spinach visible. However, I asked if he could add half of what was in the guy's pan. Anymore wouldn't fit. lol I should've stayed away from the buffet after that. The coleslaw is made with vinegar. No thank you. The carrots & raisins tasted funny/spoiled. No thanks. I went back to the buffet to see if there were fried chicken wings or drumsticks. The last wing looked better than the last drumstick. It was tasty. I got a few more strips of bacon. I should've passed. The salt was getting to me. A third visit to the buffet was so so. The Breakfast Pizza was quite tasty. The Bacon Hashbrown Bale is a no and stayed on the plate after one taste. The "dessert" I picked up was labeled incorrectly. I like bananas so ate a little more than half of the muffin. I was pleased that I didn't go overboard. Next time, omelette, little bacon and Breakfast Pizza if they have it. I liked this location better than the restaurant closer to me. It was more welcoming and spacious. They keep the tables clean with clearing the dishes. Did I already say the omelette was delicious? I started the review with four stars but this visit was worth 5 even though I did not go to the restroom. I didn't want to risk it.

Amazing choice of food and desert items, buffet style, means you can go back as many times as you'd like.

My wife had a steak and shrimp combo and I had the Key West chicken. Servings were very reasonable for the price and the food was delicious. My wife's steak was cooked to perfection but did taste extremely salty - we did make a comment both to the server and in the on-site review requested by the table side payment app. I would recommend anyone ordering their steaks to be sure to request that they go lighter on the salt. Other than that everything was perfect. My wife had the carrot cake dessert, of which I also had a taste, and we both highly recommend it. Service was also attentive and courteous as was our greeting by the maitre d'. There are so many tempting menu offerings that we will definitely need to be making multiple return visits despite the distance, as we are Northeast Valley residents. I would love to see an additional Cheddars open closer to our home.

The whole checkout experience with the Point Of Sales screens sitting on every table made it easy for my host to miss the extra drink charge ($3.19) as my waitress held that POS screen at them. Fixing the bill required the staff to fix it in the back. Even at other Darden Restaurants, no one knows how to use that POS screen. Is it possible to go back to the old systems or are we conditioning everyone in replacing wait staff like grocery stores with cashiers with their POS system?

Comfortable, sorta on the dark side. Classy. As I was not driving today, I decided to try their smoked Old Fashioned. Excellent -- and the dark cherries they use are the perfect addition to the cocktail. (The glass is coated with smoke from a smoldering piece of pecan wood, and the cocktail was served with a cloud of smoke under a coaster covering the glass.) The pig sickles ( ribs) were the perfect chance to make a pig of myself. Had the two meat plate, pig sickles and barbecued pulled chicken, If you like corn, you must have the side of corn with your dinner. The barbecue beans were delicious. Our server did a magnificent job tending to our drinks, appetizer, and food orders -- despite being very busy (the place was packed! -- and seemed like she was in constant motion. Very nice individual who liked la Prices? It was expensive, but the best barbecue always is. Eating isn't cheap. It was well worth every dollar spent. All in all, it was a perfect dinner. The perfect parting gift: a small paper bag containing four small donuts, coated with cinnamon. Our bag didn't make it home... I think we've found the perfect place to bring our family and out-of-town guests for dinner.

The ambiance was incredibly inviting, featuring a large, open dining room and a beautiful full bar that immediately set the perfect tone for the evening. It is absolutely the kind of place I would love to revisit. The Service: Our server, Jackie, was phenomenal! Even though her section was packed and very busy, she was highly attentive to our needs and checked on us regularly. She was extremely knowledgeable about the menu and went above and beyond by suggesting interchangeable options to perfectly match our specific preferences. Outstanding service like hers really elevates the whole meal. The Food: Almost everything we ordered was excellent! With the minor exception of the gumbo, which just didn't quite hit the mark for our personal taste. Other than that, every single dish was absolutely delicious and perfectly prepared. We will definitely be back!

It's huge inside, but definitely make a reservation if you're coming on the weekend because it gets pretty busy. The atmosphere is really cool with a nice, well-executed nautical theme. The service can be a bit hit-or-miss, which is typical for a chain restaurant. During one visit, they were out of Tito's vodka and didn't have anyone available to shuck oysters--a bit peculiar for a seafood joint, but likely just a sign of the times. Overall, the food is consistently good, even if it feels a little pricey for what you get. I'll most likely be back!
