If I lived around here, I'd probably make my bf take me here for date night at least once a week HAHA. We got the Paradise for appetizer, which is bluefin toro wrapped around toro. We also got the Kaisen Donburi. Everything was so fresh. Whenever I eat sushi, I'm afraid it will be fishy but not here. The service is a little bit slow, but I have to give a shoutout to one of the servers/host here. I don't remember his name, but he was Asian. Not the younger one with the curly hair. I came back here for lunch and always get the chirashi bowl lunch special for $20 - what a steal! The sushi was absolutely wonderful, as was the miso cod entree. My boyfriend got the octopus which he said was also quite good. We ordered takeout, but always walk by and want to go in for a dinner sometime! Because it was takeout, we were a bit caught off guard by the portions they provided. When I order sushi (and Ive been to strip mall sushi bars as well as incredibly nice restaurants) I usually expect that the nigiri/sushi cost covers 2 pieces. It was unclear that we paid for just 1! So it was $9/piece rather than 2 pieces. You can decide for yourself whether this is a fair price, I just wish it was a bit more clear when I was ordering online! The octopus was also only 1 leg, which we didn't realize either. Left us a bit hungry, but I guess we would have had a better in person experience than through an online order. For appetizers we got : Butter edamame (8/10) : Toro Tatar (9/10) should be more baked for dished give only small 4 pcs. : Paradise (10/10) ** high recommend ** Appetizers came out perfectly and didn't make you feel heavy. For entrees we got Seafood Magazine $42 (6/10). The dish was very filling, but I would've preferred it because the lobster tail was overcook and dry. Shrimps and scallops in this was also good. it looks cool. Our waitress was super attentive and was always clearing our plates promptly. It's definitely on the pricier but you are paying for quality. It's a intimate dining setting with attentive friendly service and delicious food. The menu is versatile offering land and sea options. We got the fried rice and we ate every grain, it was so good, lol. The sushi rolls and fish were the best I've ever had. The freshness of the fish was everything. Melt in your mouth butter texture. I walked about five minutes from the vessel float and entered the restaurant asking the hostess if there was any availability. I let her know I didn't have any reservations and I was solo. She directed me to the bar where I was seated quickly. I quickly order the IPA as well as the sashimi premium. Overall the ingredients were fresh to the taste. I liked a majority of the fish that were provided. I removed one point because I felt as if there was some misleading information on my order to go. Basically, I was told by one waiter that I could take my time to eat it. Another waiter politely stepped in to let me know that should be consumed within a few hours. you gotta know what you're talking about when it comes to raw fish. My health is on the line. read more

Add the weird vibe, which felt like a futuristic assisted living facility, and my one visit was enough. I've found the food on the north side of Greenpoint to be expensive and overrated (actually hated Madre). I saw this place on instagram and i went there with my husband on Saturday to try it out. We got to try a few different things and let me tell you everything was delicious. Food was very very good and also service was the best. The only downside was that it was a small place. They need to make it bigger. Also the atmosphere was very cozy and very romantic.
