They did two installations which where both wrong so I have to keep asking for technical assistance to come over my house and fix it. After finally having everything in order , the internet was poor so I had to reset the equipment, after that no service at all and they send me another technician. I ended up cancelling it and going back to spectrum. I installed spectrum which I only had to connect the modem and Router but didn't work, brightspeed technician intentionally damage spectrum lines so spectrum have to come over and fix all the damage that brightspeed technicians did unfortunately. Not worth at all. Don't waste your time and money.

But it has ramped up to the point where we have days of intermittent service and I work from home. I cannot tell you the stress in trying to drive around town to find an Internet connection so that I can do the bare minimum. It is affecting my income. The last few weeks have been awful and at least one full day per weekend nothing. We were told that Duke Energy was replacing poles and that was the reason. But what I've notice is that my area has been having this trouble for months since Oct 2024. We have 'troubles' in Laurinburg with certain issues but I have noticed that certain areas or neighborhoods take the brunt. I am white and live in a predominately black area. I love where I am and my neighbors are wonderful. But I noticed that for electricity and cable/ Internet we are generally the last area to get service. That's what's happening now. When I call friends living in the richer-white parts of town, they tell me they have service and that their service rarely goes down. I spoke with someone recently in the industry that claims this is an actual thing. If they need to pull power, they do so in lower income or minority neighborhoods. And some of us are the ones working from home. And we won't get reimbursed for all of the down time. Also, one of the last times in speaking with a cust service rep, she researched our area and even claimed that we had a disturbingly large amount of outages and also very strange. For this post, I had to wait 30 minutes this because it's been up and down 4 x in that 30 mins. I think we need a class action suit. Seriously . What could improve you ask???? Get Verizon in here.

Dish Network continues to disappoint even after you cancel. I recently canceled my service with…read moredish after their constant rate hikes. I also had a dispute when the failed to suspend my service when I had to leave my residence for an extended period of time ( 4 months ). I confirmed the request to suspend but they forgot and continued to bill at the full rate.So after raising my rate by $45 dollars I decided to cancel. Dish offered to get me compensated for the overbilling during the suspension period by offering me $40 a month for a year. So they charge me 45 a month extra and give me $40 back. To repay the overbilling LOL. So I canceled and now I have to pay for the boxes to return their equipment. No more Dish Star link or Spectrum will be my next calls

Great service, good price. Hopefully wont have to do anything else for this phone but if i do, this is where I'm going!
