The general service is poor. I purchased a new iPhone 16 online for pickup in the store. I went ahead and paid the full amount on the phone ($999 plus tax and fees) outright. My stepson is a student at Auburn and it was for him. I set him as an account manager with authority to pick up the phone. When he arrives the next day (after I had received the message it was ready to pick up), they had the phone but tried to charge him again for the phone. I sent the receipt to him to show the agent it was paid for. They still would not release the phone without payment. The agent said to wait for the manager later that day. I called Verizon customer service and they tried to call the store to find out what was wrong. Nobody would pick up the phone at the store (we found out why later on and it was not due to being busy). Later that day, I got a message saying the phone was picked up. However, when I checked with my son, he had not picked up the phone. I called customer service again and spent an hour on the phone. The online customer service people were inept as well and could not figure out what the problem was. So, at this time, they have my $1k+ and I have no phone. My son made his way to the store after that hour and passed his current phone to the agent so I may speak to them. Here is what I was told: 1) the manager would not be in today and that was known. 2) there is not a phone in the store!! WTF??? So all those "calls" to the store were funneled to a number nobody will see. Cameron (the latest agent at the store) is the one bright spot in this horrific deal. He tried for over an hour to manually release the phone to my son. However, Verizon would not allow it. So, we are still at the point of Verizon having my $$$ and no phone for my son. I am told the best thing to do is cancel the order to get the refund and not to have in-store pickup. But wait... there's more!!! I call customer service again. I get passed around from person to person. All I want is the phone order cancelled. I get the runaround for over an hour being told they cannot cancel the order and only the manager can do that at the store. They offer to give me the direct phone number to the store (remember, the one that nobody will answer). I filled them in on that little secret and they acted surprised. After an hour, I asked to speak to a supervisor. At that time, they decided to disconnect the call. Better yet, it was now "after hours" and they refuse to return the call. So, I sit here telling you this because the first person at the Auburn location was either unable or unwilling to do their job. It was known the manager was not going to be in but she tells my son to "come back later today when the manager is in". Do not go to this location. I am also in the market for a better cell provider. A barrel of monkeys could perform better. read more

Showed up in the middle of the day today. Waited nearly 30 minutes and not a single employee acknowledged me as I stood in front of the door. Employees assisted multiple customers who entered after me, but continued ignoring me. At one point, all employees were in the back and not a single one was in the main area with some of their merch. What a scam. Upsold on numerous items, all of which are ridiculously overpriced, and all without explanation. Attempt at getting any kind of service or compensation is rebuffed as "you agreed to it" with a set of two top tier phones. Apologies for expecting service to match.. A pair of $35 wall chargers?! No. You smoothly placed it on the counter as if it was included. A pair of $65 screen protectors?! Again, smoothly said they have a lifetime warranty and would be replaced - but failed to include the red tape to go with it and $10 shipping charge. Should I have asked, yes. My fault. Will never consider business here again. All legal, yes, but your tactics and customer service is a shame. read more

I made an on line order from Verizon as a gift. Victra-Verizon was listed as an authorized location for delivery/pick-up, and I selected this location. I received an order confirmation email, which stated to wait until notified of delivery before coming to the store. Days later, and without further communication, I received a cancelation email from Verizon due to item not being picked up. I went to the store to see why the order was canceled and if the device was there. The very arrogant associate that met me explained that the store canceled all on-line orders for pick-up that they received from Black Friday and were only allowing in person purchases. This seems very contrary to COVID safety precautions. I asked why they would do that when Verizon lists them as an authorized dealer and pick up location. He said that they just were not allowing it. When I said that I should just cancel all of my Verizon lines, he said that was fine with him and have a nice day. I would stay away from this business....unprofessional, rude, and no sense of customer service if they aren't getting the sales commission. BEWARE. I hope Verizon revokes their association with them as a retailer. read more

Just wanted to let you know what a great job Dakota did for us at the Auburn store on S. College. He walked me through each step of our transfer from AT&T, got us the best possible deal at the cheapest price. He was very patient and even spoke long distance to my husband (who normally does all of this), to be sure we both knew exactly what plan we were getting and whether our new phones would meet our needs. He went above and beyond to help transfer our contacts, photos, etc, and show me how to do it when I got my husband's phone home. He is a fabulous representative for your company. read more
