I usually go to the Verizon store frustrated with things I could remedy if I just used a little bit more patience or call the store. I had recently had to switch my phone because the charging port to my old phone was messed up. I should have just got a new phone but I settled for a refurbished one. I think all phones being called new are refurbished or at the very least programmed not to work after awhile but I'm probably wrong about that. Anywhere, the gentlemen at this Verizon were dressed very professionally. I was pleasantly surprised! This storefront says "Verizon" but they are only an authorized retailer. When I came to do a free trade in, they lost my phone and I was charged for the full thing. When I tried to come in and rectify the problem, the manager said they would look into it but I did not receive a call back and the manager was not present in the store the 3 other times I came back to figure it out. read more

I am so beyond disappointed. I actually went out of my way to find a Verizon store near me with decent reviews since I recently moved and I loved my old Verizon store. Only to leave this place totally screwed... I've been with Verizon for 6.5 years, I have NEVER been f*cked so badly. I went in to trade in all 3 phones on my account for iPhone 16s (Verizon promo). Robert was nice enough but very quiet throughout the entire process. I was confused a lot because of the lack of explaining most of everything. Lots of mumbling and spending time doing things on the iPad without telling me what's going on ‍. Ok whatever. I don't need to perfect. I leave the store as he ordered my 3 iPhone 16s to be delivered to the store. Come back to pick them up. Left the store pretty confused on how to ship my old phones on. Robert told me to ship my old phones and old internet box (as he also upgraded my box) using UPS. "I just take them in? I don't need anything?" "Nope. You just take it in. They'll know what to do." Well. They in fact did NOT know what to do. I was supposed to get a QR code or shipping label from Verizon at the time I was there I guess but didn't. I called Verizon customer care and they sent me one. Fast forward to turning in my old phones. Can't do that at UPS either apparently- message Robert and he tells me to just bring them in. Ok great... not what I was originally told but whatever. Robert isn't there when I go to return my phones and the employee who is helping me states that he doesn't know why- BUT he can't accept one of the phones. He tells me to get ahold of Robert. Wtf. Ok......? So I reach out to Robert twice letting him know first that I'm having this issue and please look into it. Follow up a few days later, no response. I decided not to go into the store because 1) why can no one help me besides Robert? 2) by this point I have gone to the store 3 times, gone to UPS 3 times, and had to call Verizon customer care for help 3 freaking times over this issue. So I'm hot. I've NEVER has an ongoing issue like this before that cannot be resolved and no one knows why except MAYBE the original person who started the trade in but after wasting literal hours traveling to UPS, Verizon, and being on the phone I know I'm gonna pop off. so I'd rather now ruin Roberts day and be that rude customer everyone hates. I call Verizon for help AGAIN (4th time) and 4 weeks later the issue is finally..... resolved.... No follow up from Robert. I'm going to assume this guy quit or has extenuating family circumstances going on for the last few weeks and that's why he could not follow up and was never in the store when I went. Not because he just doesn't care. I never explained why I was having to call so much but once the person on the phone did say all of this was basically a mess bc I didn't send in all my phones at the same time like I was supposed to and he asked me why I didn't - I told him the Verizon employee TOLD ME he could not take the phone and to ask Robert about the issue. Avoid this location at all cost. I bought 2 new iPhone 17 pros and set them up to be picked up at this location. 5 hours later still no email saying my order is ready. I called and they had no idea where my order was. They promised to call me back in 5 minutes. 30 minutes later I call back and they still have no idea. After 30 minutes on hold they tell me my order is ready. I show up to pick up and they tell me I need a PIN number. I tell them I don't have one and have never been asked for one in the past. I'm told without one I can't het my phones. I leave and call Verizon customer service. They tell me that is absolutely wrong. I should have been able to pick it up without any issue. The people at the location are inadequately trained and have no customer service ability. Stay away. read more

I arrived to the store at 7:54 (per my Iphone) and the store closes at 8. Two employees were sitting inside and had the door locked and said the were closed. The hours say 8 pm is when they are closed. No other customer was in the store, just two employees sitting at a table with laptops. read more

I went in only to get my SIM card fixed and the rep started asking all these questions trying to up sale other plans. He convinced me that I can save about $30 dollars and everything would stay the same but better. But it wasn't! It was actually only a $10 savings and I lost my bundle!! I had the rep change back to my original plan, now I've been on the phone for hours trying to restore my bundles back and it's been a pain! Not happy about this place!!! read more

So I'm on call. My phone was messing up astronomically during the day, cutting off by itself, battery running very low after a full charge, the screen separating from the back of the phone... it was awful. So I went to this Verizon store on Beechnut in hopes that I could be relieved of my pain. No dice!! I was introduced to a guy, he didn't tell me his name, rather short in stature, chubby across the middle, bald, not really rude, just with very short answers; who told me after clicking away at his screen turned conveniently away from me; that yes I was up for an "early" upgrade, that I have to pay $277 to pay off my old phone, that he could not accept my old phone as a trade in due to its condition. And by the way, they were out of the iPhone 14 completely. I would have to wait 2 business days until one could be ordered. I told him I can't wait! My current phone is trash and I'm on call! I really need a phone now. He gives me a blank stare and states this is the situation. Perhaps try the Apple Store or I can upgrade to the iPhone 13 with him today. Welp! I did try Apple. Ok ... I personally didn't check Apple, the hubs did- I stayed home with our flu-sick kid. He returns home, no phone! Apple is out too. He says, let me go back to the Verizon store and let's just get u a phone- it doesn't have to be the 14. I said, don't care, just get it done, I will stay here and nurse my 9year old and her 102 degree fever. But pls hurry, because I may be missing calls/texts from the hospital. How about he comes back 1 hour later from the same Verizon store with a brand spankin' new iPhone 14 plus. I was shocked. How did this happen?? I mean, I was grateful, yes, thankful that I have a new phone! Excellent work honey!! But why on earth did the sales person just 2 short hours earlier tell me there were no phones in the store... Oh but it doesn't stop there!!! Not only was the hubs, with his excellent gift of gab, able to trade my old phone in, he was able to get a whopping $800 credit for it. He apparently talked to a different sales person, a woman, who clearly worked her magic! Thanks sis!! Her name was Chelsea, she's awesome, ask for her. I'm not sure how Verizon trains their sales people, but some customers get the special treatment, some clearly get the boot, and there is a clear discrepancy in customer treatment and deals. The guy I talked to wasted my time and energy. I'm a busy doctor, with a sick kid at home, on call... if there was in fact an iPhone 14 in house, why wasn't I offered it in the first place? The deal my hubs got should have happened when I first walked in. Period. I feel lied to! Lesson is- if someone from this store gives you a BS story, don't trust it. Don't take it at face value. Time wasting is their specialty, and they are bordering on a sleazy car salesman approach to phone sales. Ladies, always come with your precious boyfriends or husbands, because perhaps you have to have two working testicles in order to be treated fairly here or a special advanced degree in the art of negotiation! This is is NOT a genuine Verizon retail store; they just sell Verizon service and phones. I went there and got a heavy upsell. I was told that I needed to add this and that additional services. Felt very car salesmen's ship. Didn't make sense. So I left and went to the. Verizon store on Southwest Freeway/ Buffalo Speedway. I had very bad experience here not one but 3 times! I came here to order my iphone 13 pro max on October. They said my order will arrived at October 23. But after the estimate day no one call to let me know until i call 3 to 4 times for that. After that I called again and they said they had no idea why my order is cancelled! Then they asked me to pre-order the other one. I say yes I can wait for that. After one week they send me the tracking number that told my order will coming on last Tuesday (11/23/2021). On last sunday (11/28/2021), i came there to pick it up but they cannot activate my phone. The seller said something problem with my account because they order duplicated on that. He called the supporters and told me just come back after 2 days for pick it up! Today (12/01/2021), i come to the store and asked for my order. The different guy here told me they have nothing for me today because they just keep my order 1 week. I'm not pick up so that order is cancelled! I told him about the story and he said he'll check it. Then he came back told me he have 1 available right now that is Blue one if i want. I said yes just activated it for me. But he go inside and come back to told me just only Black available cause the Blue for other customers if not just pre order ‍. I called customer service and he started so rude with me. He didn't want to answer my question and look at me like he want me just leave. I go with Verizon totally 4 years but just came to this store around 3 times and very bad experience. We came into this location today, honestly, because it was near the McDonalds we were getting a drink from. Went in to see about getting a phone for our daughter. Well, a nice lady from Jamaica named Gillette helped us out, and along with her lilting accent, her manor, demeanor, and customer service were very friendly and very helpful. She answered all of our questions, even the one where I wondered if one of us upgraded our phones, could our daughters have our old phones. Well, the answer was yes, so not only did my wife get a new iPhone 6, but my daughter got the iPhone she's been wanting for quite a while now. Gillette transferred all the apps from the old phone to the new phone, upgraded the SIM chip in the old phone, and set up the old phone with my daughter's number. We would certainly recommend Gillette, as well as Daymon, apparently, from what I read from the other reviews. Outstanding experience! read more

I broke my Samsung S7 Edge recently. Since I'd been eyeing the new Pixel 2 XL, I decided that was a good enough reason to upgrade. We've bought a few phones from this location before and it is close to the house, so I went over. I walked in, told the guy that asked if he could help me that I wanted to look at the Pixel 2 and Pixel 2 XL. He told me he didn't have an XL in stock. He then said he'd go look in back. He came back with a Pixel 2 but no XL, and proceeded to tell me that they had not shipped, Google had recalled them, screen problems, blah blah. This, of course, is a flat out lie. I drove about two miles to the next store and in about ten minutes left with a new Pixel 2 XL. We'll never go back to this location. They're clearly willing to flat out lie to your face, while you're holding a device that is connected to a network that can literally answer just about any question you can think of! read more

I'm looking to replace my cell phone carrier. Was greeted appropriately and given a pretty thorough explanation of plans by Toddrick. I do find that I need to ask a lot of questions. There is a lot of opportunity to "upsale" me, as I really may be able to replace several companies I am using that provide a variety of services with just switching to Verizon for everything. I didn't realize, all though liking back I should have, that everything from tv to internet to cell service and even smart home stuff is available. The sales info is very informative, but, I felt like I had to ask all the questions, and, I simply don't know all the questions I need to ask... not to mention, there is always the "unadvertised" deals. It was after all my first inquiry to Verizon. Overall the experience was pleasant, I really didn't feel any pressure, and I am seriously looking into switching. And if I switch, I'll give Toddrick my business, as he was patient, professional, and I am sure they get some sort of kickback or accolades from Verizon for doing their job well enough to attract and retain new business. read more

Have been here for 45 minutes and haven't been acknowledged in the slightest. There are four other people waiting and the two employees have been catering to two clients who are asking questions that can be answered online. The lack of customer service is unbelievable. It's so frustrating to have such a strong urge to leave after no acknowledgement, but knowing that I have already wasted so much time sitting and waiting that it would be silly to leave. I understand having to finish what you start with a customer, or if they were busy. But they have been with ONE client this entire time and haven't said ANYTHING to anyone else. "Sorry for the wait." "We will be with you as soon as possible. It should be another 15-30 minutes." Or geez, just tell me you don't plan on doing your job in a timely manner and that I should go somewhere else and I would have. I will NEVER come back to this location. ----- Another 45 minutes and I am finally out of there. The client ended up being an employee. Are you kidding me! Plz learn to micromanage. That employee (or in the event it is a client) can wait 15 minutes while you tend to other customers. Setting up a new account should have taken 10 minutes but the representative was taking personal calls and trying to be cute when we just wanted to get out of there. In addition he said nothing about an activation fee ($45) until right after I paid to start phone service ($45). I didn't have the energy to argue, it's not worth it at this point. Best phone experience yet! My fiance and I needed to get a phone turned on as his took an unexpected swim in the river. We were expecting the process to be lengthy, and arrived not in the best of spirits. We were also expecting a visit to the Apple Store after because the phone hadn't been backed up, and issues arose with logging into the icloud. We lucked out with Dre, who was patient, helpful, kind and extremely tech-savvy. He was able to help my fiance get logged into his account, create a new password , and downloaded the Robbinhood app without being asked, which saved him a step. He even informed us of some deals that are going on, as I was looking into changing carriers. I'll be able to not only get a new phone, pay the same monthly fee but also be eligible for a rebate! Dre saved us a trip, several thousand dollars and eased our stress levels by going above and beyond! We can't sing Dre's praises enough and will be return customers of his! read more

Went to this location yesterday, and it was the best customer service I have ever experienced at a Verizon Wireless location. Jimmy Montenegro was the rep who assisted me, and not only was he very knowledgeable about the various plans and discounts, but he also took the time to patiently explain them to me and my grandma without being condescending. He was super friendly, easy going, and helpful. He seemed genuinely concerned about getting me the deal that was best for me. The other guys in there seemed friendly and helpful as well. The other customers they helped while I was in there seemed to feel very relaxed with them and leave very pleased with the service. Never thought I'd feel loyal to a specific Verizon store location, but I will do my best to only go to this one from now on when I need help. read more

This place used to great but be aware that they now charge a $40 "program and setup fee" that they do not disclose up front. They lump it in with the taxes and it wasnt until we left that we saw it was an extra $40 from the store, not verizon. Not very honest...we wont be back. read more

I just wanted to thank a lady by the name of Kendra who works at this location. I have never seen customer service of this nature from any wireless store. She helped me with my iPhone issue with incredible courtesy and professionalism, all with a smile. You really just see this sort of customer service on TV, they don't exist in real life but at this location, at least, Kendra proves there is still good old fashioned customer service that exists. read more

So i came to this Verizon in desperate need of help because my Iphone was not even turning on anymore. I had purchased the phone from this store a few days prior and kept the phone in great condition the few days i had it. The customer service was horrible by the way on the day that i got the phone. Every one of the sales associates in the store were just very slow moving, texting while talking to me at the same time. I felt very unimportant the entire time i was there. I went back to get my phone replaced and they kept denying me a new phone, saying that i was a liar and implying that i was irresposible with my phone. I cannot remember the associate who "helped" me but he was a bigger gentleman with a receding hair line, white male who seated himself as if he were the manager of the location. Completely disrespectful and definitely should not be the manager if he is. I ended up visiting a different location and they were able to replace my phone without a problem. Absolutely no problems with Verizon but the location off Beachnut was filled with negative vibes. NOT A GOOD EXPERIENCE!!! read more
