As a military veteran, I have been in a lot of Verizon stores in a lot of places over the years and this location is definitely in my top three. My husband and I were dealing with a laundry list of things and the Apple Store at Keystone directed us to this location so we could set up the non-phone devices on our billing plan instead of paying cash upfront. Walking in, it looks like a typical Verizon location with a handful of displays and some seating. I had googled them so I knew this was a franchise location and not a corporate location but I trusted the Apple staff - I am so glad that I did! The first time we were there, we sat down with Harold who was friendly and energetic. He got us all the information we needed and helped us start the process. My husband's watch had to be ordered and my phone was toast. Harold handled all of it with humor and professionalism. He got us set up with new devices and gave to me a fair window of time to get the corrupted files off my old phone to avoid transferring them and continuing the cycle of damage. When my husband's watch was delivered, we returned with the files deleted and sat down with Jon who is a delightful and personable man with unending knowledge about the devices and the services. Somewhere along the way, I had messed up and skipped a step with completely remiving the corrupted files and he expertly guided me through what I could and could not do to achieve the best possible outcome. His confident demeanor was incredibly calming. Through conversation, he ended up sending us out the door with even more hardware. Unfortunately the transfer process from my old phone to my new phone clocked in at four hours - one hour past closing time. He provided to us multiple options so that while we were welcome to do so, we didn't have to hang out in the store. We opted to go to dinner and check back in. When we returned a couple of hours later, there were still hours to go so we chatted with Alex (delightful and helpful) and Luther (they are both store closers) who suggested we take both phones, continue the transfer process at home, and bring the old phone back the next day. Perfect! We returned the following day and finally sat down with Luther to finish the trade in process. In keeping with the vibe of the store, he was upbeat and amiable. He quickly processed the return and had us on our way. So four associates, two iPhones, two iPads, two Apple Watches, one home internet box, and a ton of laughs later, this is our new go-to for everything Verizon related. Definitely recommend. read more

This is not a authorized dealer according to the company. Had a horrible time here . Had to take my phone home to download all my information and mail my own phone which got lost. The guy didn't know how to do Update OK I called the representative that asked me too it was a female not a man and she told me that they have nothing to do with 1950 Kessler Blvd. location. But she answers the message here. As much as I hate to recommend just do it online. It seems like they just use it as a way out to ping pong you back and Fourth. What a bunch of crap. Two months ago, I made the switch from my previous phone company here. I was looking to get service for both of my products; however, only to find out that Verizon did not activate my iPad. This incident has been going for a little over two months until I was finally able to visit again, in hopes of my situation being resolved. Fortunately, I was able to get my problem fixed once I went into the store also. But as I spoke with the Verizon sales representative about my case and how I've been paying for data that I have not been able to use. He simply told me to contact customer service. I thought he would have been more helpful than I was expecting him to be, especially since the ordeal I've been dealing with for months. Credit to my bill for those previous months where I was not able to use my data would have sufficed. read more

Brought in 2 brand new, unlocked phones for trade in for me and my boyfriend. We were told we would get $400 trade in value for new phones we purchased at Verizon. Went home, tried to use our phones and we had no service. We went back to Verizon to try to turn in the new phones and get the old ones back. We were told that our phones were gone but they would give us $100 for each of them. Now we owe $1800 on two phones we can't use. Don't believe Verizon when they tell you you have 14 days to change your mind, it's a scam. Updated June 5, 2020 - Thanks for your reply Verizon. I tried calling customer service, actually spent over 2 hours making calls to Verizon and your customer service department before posting this review, they were uninterested in helping, returning our phones, or giving us a credit for any part of this. His knowledge and understanding of what I wanted and what my girlfriend wanted was understood and completed with ease. Every minute detail was accomplished expeditiously. I was very upset -- and still am -- at my visit to Celluar Sales yesterday. I felt very taken advantage of and mislead. I came into the store to inquire about my phone, as shorty prior to going into the store, the phone had stopped operating. The phone would not turn on after the "hello moto' screen would display. I have just changed the phone to 80% prior to leaving the phone 30 minutes prior. I was running errands and saw the store on the way. I was in a hurry somewhat, with another appointment in 45 minutes. I thought I would go in and see if they could help me turn back the phone one. I met with a male in a Colts jersey ( two males were them in the same outfits). This man stated this was not his regular store; his name started with a "T". He was pleasant and tried to help me turn on the phone. He could not. He gave the phone to the other male associate who could also not start the phone. The associate working with me, T (the non-resident of the store) told me that I should get a new phone. He told me that Verizon would give me $200-$100 on one of the newer LG phones that would only cost me $40 out of pocket fees; I said this was fine. Now, I am under the impression that I would pay $40 to upgrade my phone and have an installment plan of something around the cost of my last phone ($300-$400) He showed me three different phones, which did not look much different to me. He asked which one I wanted; I told him" The one that results in the lower fees". Thus I had relayed to him that I was looking to keep costs low. He then told me that I would need to pay the $40 in cash, which I thought was weird, but I said OK. In the past, I had paid this fee with Verizon in the store with a CC or Debit card. I went to Walmart for cash back of the $40, came back and thought I was good to go. He asked if I wanted protection on the phone with a bundle pack for $200 more dollars. I declined. He questioned me three times about this, asking where I would get the case, how much I would pay for the case, and again 'was I sure'. I said yes, think he was just trying to upsell me since I was only paying $40. T take the $40 and then tells me (only then) that I need to pay taxes and state fees for an addition $98. I was hurt. At this point, I didn't have a phone, have a trip to go on out of state where I need a phone, and I was about to run late for an appointment. I was confused and felt very taken advantage of. I paid the $98, knowing that I just needed the phone now and would return it. He also criticized me for being surprised at the $98 fee, starting - how much had you paid for state fees and taxes in the past. It's always this much." I had told him that I had not paid $40 on top of another $98 in the past. Last year when I upgraded my phone, I only paid around $40 and then a small tax fee of maybe $10-15. Now the worst part was when he showed me the contact I had signed where we had briefly told me about my phone bill going up to $101 to cover the installment fee. He did not inform me that the phone was $800. I told him once I got the printout and I had never paid that much for a phone in my life. This was why the taxes were so high. Plus, he never told me the price of the phone. Never asked if I was OK with the price of the phone. I am now convinced he was taking to make a $1000 sale off of me ($200 with the case bundle, $800 with the financed phone fees). I do plan on returning the phone, knowing that I will have to pay this store even more money for a restocking fee, just to have this corrected and find a phone that meets my price range. I am so glad I did not have T work on my account contract as well, as I plan to switch to a family plan this month. I do not trust he would have had me or my family best interest in mind. He was all about greed, nothing about customer service. Thus, after changing this phone I will never step foot in a Cellular Sales again and ensure I go to a Verizon store not affiliated with a contractor. This was the worse experience of my cell phone experience lifetime, and I have owned a cell phone for 15 years with different companies. I will also post this experience on Yelp and Google, as well tell my family and friend to beware of Celluar Sales locations. Anyone that wants to contact me about this experience from Celluar Sales and/Verizon or may do so, with the expectation of "T". This is why I have placed my name on this item. I took my elderly dad to this store on Tuesday August 28 because his very basic, non-smart phone was no longer accepting or sending calls or texts. I'd had really good experiences at this store over the years, both in buying phones for our family and with the people here helping my dad figure his phone out when he would have issues with it. Last week's experience stands out in sharp contrast. The young guy who met with us wasn't really interested in helping us. My dad couldn't remember the pin for his phone, so the guy said there was no way he could help us, except sell us a new phone -- but without transferring the phone contacts and photos from the old phone. He said they would not transfer even if we had the pin, since the phone doesn't have wifi. He didn't have the phone we would want, but said he'd sell it to us and we could go to a different store to pick it up. We left. We then went to the Verizon store at 71st and Binford -- where we were helped by a couple of young employees who were not flippant and worked patiently trying to get into the phone without the pin. When that didn't work, they explained how we could reset the pin (by going to a corporate store). Once we'd done that, we returned because they'd won us over with their sincerity and professionalism. We bought a new basic phone for Dad from them, and they successfully transferred Dad's contacts and photos to the new phone. read more

*****Just found this in my drafts and realized I forgot to post it. Needed to post anyways because of my experience at this store. Keep in mind this happened 3 years ago, but it is burned in my mind. My mom passed away from cancer two weeks before I went into the store. My iPhone had been acting up, and i wanted to see if I could use her old phone instead of buying a new one. In a silly way I thought even just having her old phone in my pocket would be a way I could hold on to her for a little while longer. I told the representative that I needed help accessing my family's Verizon account and transferring the ownership because it was my moms account and we didn't know the passwords. Other than that I just needed to swap out the cards. I introduced the predicament to the sales guy by saying "this phones previous owner passed away." He abruptly and insensitively joked "so you stole a dead person's phone?" (Exactly what a 20 year old girl who lost her mom wants to hear). I told him the previous owner was my mom. He abruptly and insensitively asked "oh, so how did she die?" (Exactly what a 20 year old girl who lost her mom wants to explain to a rude stranger). I told him I could not access the Verizon account because she had all the information connected to her email. He abruptly and insensitively said "yeah it is a shame you can't just ask her." (Yes, THATS the shame here). I asked to talk to the manager. The manager came over and the representative said "the previous owner is dead and has the account information and she wants to do a data swap to use this phone." The manager abruptly and insensitively joked "so you killed someone to steal their phone, huh?" After about another half hour of fighting back tears while jokes were made at my recently deceased mother's expense, I just set up a new account with them and swapped the cards. What could have been a 10 minutes brief question turned into an hour-long traumatic experience. *****three years later and now I'm on sprint. Slower reception but unlimited data and I never have to deal with this place ever again. read more

I am not entirely technophobic--but I'm pretty close. I'm comfortable with my mid-20th century dumb phone and had no desire whatsoever to join the 21st century. And yet, for business reasons, I found myself in front of Austen at this location. He is so patient, calm, and direct that I came out with exactly what I needed and not at all disturbed by my transition into the modern world. Recently I had a problem understanding my new bill (that includes the new technology Austen set me up with). Austen helped me call in and talk with a representative at Verizon to get it all sorted out. Austen was by far more professional and easy to work with than the phone representative. I now consider Austen my go-to guy for all phone-related business that we will need as my organization expands. read more

I won't say the reps name but his name starts with an A. 1. Was promised that if I sign up with auto pay I'd get 1 gig more of data a month for free. Went back the next day because it didn't work online and he said it must have expired. I called Verizon customer service and that deal hasn't even been around recently. 2. I clearly asked is this the "out the door and final cost and nothing else" for the phone I was getting. Soon as I got home nope there was an installment set up. Fair enough I'll give them this one because his "out the door / final cost" meant just for the day not total. But I know I was clear. 3. I said I'd stay if they move my data down. But he kept trying to convince me of signing up for more Gigs. Clearly said over and over I don't want gigs. I did all the math for every plan and I know what the cheapest is. 4. Finally I said I want to return and cancel unless you can match AT&T by bringing the cost down $10/month. But nope he wouldn't do it. If that's out of his control then whatever. He milked the clock with the customer he was working with for 2hrs until he processed my return. I probably should have waited 45mims Max. I was extremely patience and never loud or rude in the store. I don't believe in that but I do believe in sharing reviews. If I could give them 0 stars I would. I purchased the IPhone 8 at this location. From the start the manager had a know it all attitude. I additionally purchased the Puregear Steel 360 tempered glass protector for the screen. 1 month later that glass protector is scratched, cracked and chipping off around the corners. Took it back in to bring it to their attention and 2 women employees who had an even worse know it all attitude than that manager kept insisting multiple times I must have dropped the phone after telling them more than twice I never dropped the phone, their next genius response is well there's no case on it! I know genius, I took it off so you could look at it smh. They kept going on and on until I finally said clearly you all are not going to rectify this situation right? They said no, I thanked them and left. HORRIBLE customer service. I'd recommend another location every time over this one, beware. read more
